Eunhyuk was sitting in the coffee shop, his cup of hot chocolate forgotten and cold as he stared outside dazed, his heart hurting, and his chest feeling as if it would collapse in any second. He had just seen his husband in a car parked two shops down with another man. He had his arms around the man and had leaned in to kiss him before turning on the car and driving away. They had both looked so happy. He had never seen Kyuhyun smile like that. Heck he had never seen Kyuhyun smile at him ever and realizing this broke his heart some more.

“Sir? Are you okay? The waiter approached and asked him

“Huh?”

“Sir, you’re crying.”

Eunhyuk didn’t even realize he was crying. He reached up and placed his hands on his cheeks, feeling the wet tears with his fingertips. “No. He shouldn’t think like this. Maybe he was just a really close friend.” He tried to console himself but he knew in the back of his mind that that was no close friend. That was definitely something else. In the last eight months of their marriage, Eunhyuk knew that Kyuhyun did not love him but he had always hoped that he would somehow fall in love with him, just a little bit and he would make up for the rest but Kyuhyun had never even talked to him. He wouldn’t touch the things he would cook; he wouldn’t wear the clothes he had picked out. They were two strangers living in the same house.

Kyuhyun would come back from work late and ignore the Eunhyuk who would wait for him with dinner prepared and a disappointed Eunhyuk would go to bed hungry, dinner forgotten and wasted. If Eunhyuk was in the room, Kyuhyun would go sleep in the guest room or go out since again, coming only in the morning to change and go to work once again. Eunhyuk would always make up excuses for his husbands late nights, saying that since their company was an event company specializing in the entertainment industry, he needed to stay up late to look after the welfare of the parities their company organized. This of course was wrong. Kyuhyun was the CEO. He had others to do so. All he needed to do was attend the parties and make contacts.
