The next day came and it was time for school again. It was morning break when Jae's homeroom teacher, Miss Kim Taeyeon, found Jae Sun to give her a letter.

"Ahh, Jae Sun. I forgot to hand this over to you earlier this morning." she said as she handed over an envelope to Jae Sun. "This is for you." 

"Ahh. Thank you." she said and the teacher left. 

...What's this? She thought to herself as she carefully examined the envelope.

"A letter? You know who it's from?" Key asked, curious about the contentes of the letter.

"...It doesn't say. All it has is my name on the front."

"Check the contents." Minho suggested.

Jae opened the envelope to check the contents. She was afraid that it would be from a certain someone. The letter was handwritten in a rather messy handwriting, but good enough for her to read. She could already tell who it was from the handwriting. It wasn't the person she was afraid of, but it was someone had not wanted to hear from. Nontheless, she decided to read it.

Jae Sun, 

From my handwriting, you probably already know who this is, right? I heard from the orphanage that you got adopted into a rich family and moved to Seoul. Even attending a rich school now. You haven't forgotten me now that you're living a rich fancy life, have you? Anyways, I need some money right now. Come and see me, okay? I know you will. Because I am still your father. You cannot avoid this fact. I will be waiting for you in front of your school on the first Monday of September.

...First Monday? That's today...Arghh. I don't care anymore. He can wait there and rot for all I care.

Key and Minho both noticed Jae's expression. Her face fell as she was reading the letter. They could both tell that she irritated and angry. Whatever the content of the letter was, it must have been about something or from someone she didn't want to hear about. They asked her what it was about but she just said that it was nothing. She crumpled up the letter and threw it into the bin, and then left for her morning break practice.

Minho and Key both looked at each other, worried about her. With a sigh, the both went for their own respective morning break practice.

Lunch break soon came, and SHINee were having lunch together in the practice room as usual. Jonghyun, Taemin and Onew had all seen Jae Sun for a brief moment earlier and all three noticed the change in her behaviour.

"Where's Jae?" Jonghyun asked Key and Minho who were in the same class as her.

"Don't know. She left as soon the bell rang." Minho told him. "Something seems...wrong?"

"Oh. I noticed that too. I saw noona in the hall briefly but she looked like something was bothering her." Taemin noted.

"Oh? Me and Jonghyun saw the same thing too." Onew said, while Jonghyun nodded his head. "Did something happen?"

"...There was a letter for her." Key said. "Didn't see what it said though."

"Yeah, she looked really irritated when she read it." Minho acknowleged.

"Did she say anything?" Onew asked, worried about his sister.

"I don't really know what, but it seems like she doesn't want to talk about it." Key said, "I've asked her but she keeps saying it's nothing."

"Yeah. I couldn't get anything out of her too." Minho said.

...That damn bastard! Money? What happened to the money I gave him last time? Probably gambled it all away. And now I can't get it out of my head and that's exactly what he wanted. Argh!!!

Jae couldn't help but feel frustrated and let out a heavy sigh as she covered her face with her hands.

"...What's wrong?" Jae looked to see Key sitting opposite her "And don't say it's nothing because that's obviously not the case."

"...It's not your problem. And it's nothing worth noting." 

"If it's nothing then why are you so frustrated?"

"..."

"So...want to talk about it? What was the letter about?"

"...It's just a letter from someone I know."

"Who?"

"...My father."

"Your father? What did it say?"

"He just wants some money, that's all. But I'm done with him. He wants to meet after school today but I'm not going."

"...Are you sure you don't want to go?"

She sighed and looked away. "Why should I?"

"I don't know what happened between the two of you, but he's still you're father, isn't he?" Jae turned back to look at Key. "Even if you don't plan on helping him, you should at least talk to him. Try and resolve everything. Because if you don't, then it's never going to end."

"...You're right." Jae sighed, knowing that what he had said was right. "I'lll talk to him today. Thanks."

Jae waited for everyone to leave the school grounds after school before meeting her father. She had decided then, that she would end her relationship with him. She was tired of him. It was time to end it.

Next chapter going to be about the confrontation and then...I'll do the showcase. But I haven't decided yet. We'll see. Thoughts?
