Jonghyun's POV

The morning after Keys drinking adventure was a rough one; not just for him but for all of us, since we had to deal with his y attitude from a hangover. Not to mention we were all already tired since we had to get up early enough to catch our plane back to Korea. Packing up the camp site and getting everything into the van was a pain, everyone kept moving so slowly. The ride over to the airport was quiet; no one was awake but me because my mind kept running for miles.
Last night with Key...was all I could think about.

It wasn't long until we got onto the plain, I mean, going through security with a hungry Minho and a naggy Key was not pleasant at all but I was glad when we got through quickly. Our seating arrangements were rather ironic; Onew wanted the row to himself so no one sat with him, while Taemin insisted on sitting with Minho so they could talk about something that happened back at Italy. Then, I was left to sit with Key, (not that I minded) but I couldn't help feel awkward around him after last night.

I sat by the window and watched as the morning turned to evening within what seemed to be moments. After sometime I started to nods off, my eyes threatening to close when I felt a familiar head leaning against my shoulder.
Key had fallen asleep.
He seemed peaceful and somewhat...cute.

Cute? Why do I keep having these thoughts?
I shook my head, trying to get rid of the unfamiliar feeling as my heart rate speed up.

It was dark out by time we left the airport and got to the dorm.
As we walked into our home, bags were tossed randomly on the floor to be forgotten till morning time.

"Ok off to bed children, you have schedules tomorrow." Key was shooing Taemin and Minho towards our shared bedroom, earning groans and whines from the two.

"But Umma~ it's only 8:00pm..." Taemin pulled away from Keys grasp, folding his arms over his chest with a pout.

"Yeah I think we should watch a movie." Onew chimed in with his usual smile.

"No you have to go to bed too mister." I laughed at Key taking his role as the groups Umma a little too seriously; not that it was unlike him to, but I always got enjoyment from it.

"You're not the boss of me. As group leader I have power over you all," Onew stated in a mater-of-fact tone looking from Key to everyone else.

"No you don't." Taemin did not look pleased with what Onew had said.

"Yeah if anything you have the title of a leader but that's pretty much it." Minho finally choosing to talk; I guess he was in the same boat as Taemin.

"Well I'm the oldest, and you should all listen to your elders." Onew wagged his finger, at the three Dongsaeng that were challenging him, like a father scolding his kids.

"You're right but since you're older you need more sleep. Or else it will be hard to keep up with our youthful energy." There was a smug smile on Key's face as he insults our leader. I couldn't help but laugh at how childish everyone was being, as they tried to prove to one another that they were mature.

"What are you laughing at? You’re old too!" Onew attacked me thinking that I was only laughing at him.

"Yah! At least I'm younger then you." I pouted at our leader before turning my attention over to Key; my pout becoming a pleading one. "Kibummie~ can we just watch the movie please? And then everyone will go straight to bed I promise."

He tried to stay strong against my puppy eyes but I know Key to well; he can never resist my puppy eyes, especially when I use that nickname.
"Ugh...ok fine. We can watch ONE movie," he held up his index finger basically glaring at everyone, before folding his arms. "And then everyone goes to bed. Got it?"

"Yay! Thank you Umma!!" Suddenly Taemin trapped Key in a hug from excitement before running over to the TV and turned it on. "I know the perfect movie to watch! I've wanted to see it since forever!"

"Oh really? And what movie does little Minnie want to watch?" Minho smiled as he sat next to Taemin; the latter pouting at the nickname given.

"I'm not little...." He grumbled, not taking his eyes off the screen as he set up the movie we are (apparently) going to watch.

Curious, the rest of us joined the two youngest on the couch; Key sat to the right of Taemin and Onew sat on the left of Minho. Leaving the only space left to sit to the right of Key.
Not that I minded, but ever since the night before I just feel...weird around the boy who’s my best friend.
"White? Isn't that a horror flick?" Taemin's eyes lit up as he selected the movie named white; only giving me a smirk to answer my question.

"Taemin-ah! You know I hate scary movies..." Key smacked the youngest member and tried to take the remote to change the movie.

"Oh come on Hyung. Please just this once." Taemin gave a pleading pout, (not as good as mine if I say so myself) before Key gave in but making clear that he wasn't happy.
"Yay! Now everyone shh it’s starting!"

See that there was not talk happening in the begging I took the opportunity to whisper to the boy next to me.
"It's ok Bummie I'll protect you if you get scared," gently I placed my hand on his knee and gave him a warm smile. He only nodded slightly back at me appearing to be memorized, before a light pink ting spread over his cheeks. He just looked so cute and innocent I almost couldn't take my eyes away from him to watch the movie, but I made myself.
I don't want to creep the poor boy out...we're already watching a horror movie.


Most of the movie was interrupted by Key's sarcastic remarks (one of the ways he copes with fear) but the member’s ether shushed him, laughed or just ignored what he said.
For example at one point one of the girls was in a dance studio alone without the lights on and he said, "Yes when I go practice dancing I like to make it hard to see myself by not turning on the lights. Making it pointless to be in front of mirrors. And it's always best to go alone when everyone's being killed off one by one."

Though one of his comments I couldn't help but laugh really hard at (and it was stupid to so I just annoyed the others).

It was at one point were the ghost shows her whole face for the first time. Key was practically in my lap scared (from all the other scary parts I the movie) with his hands covering his eyes. Not that it did anything for him though, since his fingers were spread open to look through.
Right when the demon ghost things face appeared he yelped and cringed (pressing his body further into me), before dragging "O-h...you are beautiful..." In a funny manner.

So I couldn't help but laugh at my scared best friend; wrapping my arms around his waist and pulled him in tighter. Trying to reassure him that he was safe.


Later towards what seemed like the end of the movie, the main character of the movie came to a conclusion as to how to get rid of the ghost without any evidence proving her that it would work. So naturally Key had to comment on it.
"Oh and you just decided the now?" Before mumbling "stupid girl."
Granted she was really dumb in her assumption (not to mention she wound up being wrong in the end anyway).

When the movie was finally over Key took the remote and turned off the TV.
"All right now off to bed you three." He ordered, pointing towards the bedroom we all shared; still cuddled into me (not that I disliked it).

I guess Taemin got scared from the movie because he was latched onto Minho's arm when they stood up.

"You all want me to be your leader right? I'm not claiming to be the leader I'm just doing what you guys prefer...right?" Onew sounded slightly panicked looking at all of use hoping to get a yes from all the members.

"Hehe calm down Onew, she's not going to come kill you. We know that you aren't power hungry." I gave our leader a reassuring smile, which he accepted with a nod.

Soon after the three disappeared into the bedroom leaving me and Key, still on the couch since the movie. We sat there in peaceful silence for a while before I heard him yawn.

"I think we should go to bed as well Key-goon." I looked down at the top of his head; it was tucked into my neck.

He was silent for a few minutes before gently gripping the collar of my shirt and looked up at me with the cutest face ever.
"Jjong...will you s-sleep with me? I'm scared..." Quickly he looked back down, this timid side of him was only really ever showed to me and I loved it. It meant that he trust me.

"Of course I will Key. Like I said I'll protect you," I gave him a quick, firm hug before moving to stand up and heading to the room; Key right behind me the whole way.
It felt like a kid who follows closely behind their mother because they're scared.

Once we both put on our pajamas (him in a t-shirt and loose flannel pants; and me in sweat and a tank-top) he grabbed my arm slightly and asked, "Which bed do you want to sleep in?"

"We can go to yours." I smiled before guiding him to his bunk and letting him go up first, closely followed by me.

We lay down together; his back to me, but he still cuddled into my chest. My arms wrapped loosely around his slim waist and my chin on top of his head; his sent invaded my senses making me feel happy inside.
I loved when we slept like this.

"...thank you Jjong..." It was so quite I almost didn't hear it.

"Anything for you Bummie~"

Sleep followed shortly after.
