Just another regular day
Devil's Breath *HIATUS*Seohyun set down her pen and sighed in relief. “Thank you god. I’m finally done.” Seohyun glanced at her phone. The time
read 11. “I’ve got time before I have to go to the university.” Seohyun said to herself as she pushed the reports away and
laid her head on the desk. After a couple minutes, Seohyun felt asleep quickly. After a while, Changmin came into the office.
“Seohyun, could you take a-“ Changmin stopped mid sentence, seeing Seohyun sleeping soundly. Changmin chuckled
silently. He walked over to her side and knelt down. “She’s so cute when she’s sleeping.” He thought. For some odd reason,
Changmin lifted his hand and caressed Seohyun’s chubby cheek. “She’s so beautiful.” He whispered. Seohyun flipped her
head over, facing away from Changmin. Changmin laughed, stood to his feet, and went over to her side. “Should I wake her
up?” He asked out loud. He knelt beside Seohyun and shook her lightly. “Seohyun, wake up.” She didn’t budge. “Seohyun.”
He poked her lightly. She didn’t move. “Damn. This girl is tired.” He continuously shook her. She wouldn’t move or make a
sound. Then he thought of an idea. He began poking at her sides. Seohyun groaned noisily. Changmin set down his papers
and began to tickle her sides. Then Seohyun sat up immediately. “YAH!” She screamed. Changmin stopped the tickling and
stood up, grabbing the papers. “Seohyun, could you please take a look at these? Someone needs to sign these but your
father isn’t here.” Changmin said. Seohyun heaved a huge sigh and held out her hand. “Give them here. I’ll look through
them. Be back here in 5-10 minutes and they’ll be done.” “Thanks and I’m leaving early today. Your father gave me the rest
of the day off.” Changmin handed the documents to Seohyun and left the office. Seohyun began to skim through the several
pages of documents. She signed them and placed them off to the side. Seohyun sighed heavily and placed her head on the
desk. She closed her eyes when her cell phone began to ring. “Aish!” She yelled out. She pulled out her phone and
answered it. “Hello?” “Seohyun-ah, where are you? Class starts in 30 minutes. When are you going to be here? We have
that huge test in Professor Kim’s class.” Yoona asked through the phone. Seohyun glanced at the time. “AH! Yoong-ah, I
didn’t notice the time go by!” Seohyun shrieked. Changmin heard Seohyun scream and rushed into the room to find her on
the phone. “Where are you at?” Yoona asked. “I’m at my dad’s work right now. I don’t think I can come to university today. I
have no one to drive me.” Seohyun whined. “Well, if you are coming, you better hurry! Gotta go! Bye!” Yoona hung up the
phone. Seohyun sighed heavily. “Aish..I should’ve taken my car.” Seohyun said to herself. “Dad can’t take me because of
work. Sulli can’t drive. Tiffany is already at school. Kyuhyun is probably at his drama set filming. No one can drive me. NO!”
Seohyun thought to herself. “I could take you if want.” Changmin told Seohyun. Seohyun jumped at the sound of Changmin’s
voice. “You scared me!” She yelled. “Do you need to go to school or what?” Changmin asked. Seohyun nodded. “Okay.
Pack up your things and let’s go.” Changmin said nonchalantly. Seohyun straightened up the desk, got to her feet, and
pushed in the chair. She gathered her stuff and looked up at Changmin. “Let’s get going.” Seohyun smiled cheerfully.
Changmin walked out of the room to go to his office. He gathered his things and locked the door. They entered the elevator.
During the elevator ride, Seohyun dialed a number. “Yoong-ah, save me a seat. I’ll be there in like 15 minutes.” Seohyun
requested. “Okay but hurry up.” Yoona said and hung up. The elevator dinged and they stepped off into the parking garage.
As they walked to Changmin’s car, Seohyun called another number. “Appa, I’m leaving the office. I need to go to school.
After school, I need to go to my part-time job. I won’t be home until 9 or so.” Seohyun notified her father. “Okay. I’m on my
way back to office. See you when you get home tonight. Goodbye, sweetie.” Her father hung up the phone. As the phone call
ended, they approached Changmin’s car. “Woah! Nice car!” Seohyun smiled at Changmin. Changmin grinned to himself as
he unlocked the doors and they slid in. They buckled in their seats belts. Changmin started the car and they began to drive.
“Changmin, I need to get to my house real quickly so I can change. Is that okay?” Seohyun asked. “Sure, as long as you
hurry.” Changmin granted as he stared at the road. “Thank you again, Changmin.” “No problem.” As they drove to Seohyun’s
house, it was silent. Changmin reached Seohyun’s house in a matter of minutes. She rushed inside, sprinting up the stairs
to her room. She changed her outfit quickly, grabbed her backpack purse, and ran back downstairs and out the door into
Changmin’s car.
“Dang. That was quick.” Changmin said. “Thanks.” Seohyun said breathlessly. “Where to now?” Changmin asked. “To
Seoul University.” Seohyun said responded. Changmin started up the car again and they speed to Seohyun’s school. When
they reached the university, Seohyun hopped out of the car. “Thank you again for driving me. And you’re extremely scary
when you drive.” Seohyun giggled. “You know what? Get to class before you miss your test.” Changmin retorted. “Ah! I hope
I’m not late!” Seohyun exclaimed and took off running onto the campus. She rushed into her classroom, just before the bell
rang. She scanned the rows to find Yoona sitting in the very back. She hurried up and sat down. The final bell rang and their
teacher walked in. "You got here fast. Who brought you here?" Yoona asked in a whispered tone. "My friend Changmin. He
works at my dad's company and happened to have time." Seohyun answered. "Oh. Is he cute? And that was very nice of
him." Yoona said. "I don't know." Seohyun chuckled. "I should meet him sometime." Yoona joked. "Possibly." Seohyun
went along with the joke. Seohyun and Yoona stopped their conversation as soon as tests were being passed out. After an
hour passed, the bell rang and everyone passed in their tests. "So how do you think you did, Seohyun-ah?" Yoona asked
as they walked out of the classroom. "I passed it of course. You know me. What about you?" Seohyun chuckled. "I either
nailed it or failed it." Yoona said. "You probably passed it. You're really smart too, Yoong." Seohyun complimented. "I know."
Yoona flipped her hair. They both laughed. "Well, I have to get to my next class. I'm definitely not looking forward to my Math
class. I know it's going to be boring." Yoona complained. Seohyun laughed. "At least I get to go to Vocal Music." Seohyun
teased. "Aish..This kid." Yoona mumbled. The bell rang. "Bye, Yoong!" Seohyun hugged Yoona and headed off to her
singing class. She walked into her classroom and took a seat next to her friend Yuri. "Annyeong, Yuri." Seohyun greeted as
she took her seat. "Hi Joohyun-ah. What's up?" Yuri smiled at her friend. Their music teacher came into the room. "Hello, my
singing birds! How is everyone today?" Professor Hwang greeted. "Good!" The class answered in unison. "Are you guys
ready to present your songs?" Asksed Miss Hwang. "Yeah!" They all said in unison. "Crap! I totally forgot about the song!"
Seohyun told Yuri. "You're screwed." Yuri said to Seohyun. "Miss Seo, would you ike to start us off?" Miss Hwang asked.
"Um..Yes." Seohyun walked to the front of the class and sang a random song that came to mind.

(Act like Seohyun is singing it all by herself)
When she sang the last note, the class applauded and roared in with cheers. Seohyun bowed and returned to her seat. The
class continued with several other presenters and the day continued on. After her classes were finished, Seohyun met up
with Tiffany who drove her to her part-time job as a waitress. She clocked in at 3 and clocked out at 10. Seohyun sighed as
she stood on the street, waiting for her sister to pick her up. The moon was high in the air and a light warm breeze blew.
Seohyun began to pace back and forth, still waiting for her sister. Her phone rang. "Seohyun-ah, I'll be there in 10 minutes.
I am on my way now." Tiffany said. Before Seohyun could say anything, the call ended. "Aish.." Seohyun sighed again. She
continued to pace until she heard some footsteps behind her. She turned around to find the men from last night making their
way down the street. This time they were sober. Seohyun speed walked to a nearby bus bench where a couple of other
people were waiting. As they passed the bus, one of the men glanced at Seohyun. "Hey, boss. Isn't that the girl from last
night?" One of the men elbowed the leader. The leader took a glance at Seohyun. "Yeah it is. She's looking pretty damn fine
tonight as well. Let's go over to her." Said the leader. The men walked up by the bus bench by Seohyun. "Hey, you there."
Called out the leader. Seohyun turned around and froze up in fear. "Come with us." Ordered the leader. "Um..Who are you?"
She tried to play dumb. "Come, girl. I know you remember me. I know you're not dumb." Said the leader. The people at the
bus bench left, not wanting to get involved. "Come on. I want you as my girl." Said the leader. "I'm very sorry, sir, but I have
no idea as to what you are talking about." Seohyun said with confidence. Although she may have been confident on the
outside, she was terrified on the inside. "Girl, just come with us and we will give you the night of your life." Said the leader.
"Please leave me alone." Seohyun ordered as she turned back around. The leader was beginning to get irritated. He began
to reach for Seohyun, a hand grabbed his arm and stopped him. "Hey. The girl said to leave her alone." Said the owner of
the hand. Seohyun turned around to see what was going on. "Ch-Changmin?!" Seohyun gasped.
