"Sir, I'm an exchange student. My name is Ann. I'm from England, to study culture and literature."

"Ok then. You may enter the class but I'm telling you Miss. I'm allowing you in this time even though you have come late today as it is your first class. Make sure this wont repeat again." the Professor said.

"Thank you sir." she said while entering the class.

"Ok, but get settled fast. And let us continue the class." he said. "Ok class. As you all know now, choose your partners fast. I will give you two minutes. After that i will give you your topic for the research."

'What topic ? what research? what partner?' she looked confused, as all these questions blocked her mind. Then the person sitting beside her asked, "Will you be my partner?"

Ann said ok without forethoughts.

"I guess you all have chosen your partner and I want one from each group to come here and pick the chit which contains the topic for your research." the professor said.

One person from each group went and picked a chit. Now all groups have got the topics and the bell rings indicating the end of the lecture.

"Students, this year you have got only one class. So the attendance is strict and the research work will be reviewed every month for its progression till you submit your final work." he informed every one, "And you may leave now" he said and everyone left the lecture hall.

"Hi, I'm Jihye and you are Ann right?" Jihye asked.

"Yes," Ann replied.

"You and I are partners for the research topic. It  means, we will be working together."

"Yes ,indeed." Ann replied.

"Since you are new here, why don't we visit the city? I'll be your guide. What do you say?" Jihye offered.

"Thank you for the invite. But some other day. definitely. Today I should get myself settled in my new apartment."

"ohhh!!!!! then may i help you in organizing. moreover, I'm free any way."

"Thank you. that would be very nice of you. but I can take care of it."

"Ok then its your loss. hey, don't forget that I'm your partner now and so you have to accept my offer someday. ok?" she told and she left after Ann nodded.
