Some time after he bounced along to “Hold the Line”, whoever the guy voice was didn’t matter to him, BEG just sounded enchanting, he had received yet another signed CD in the mail. “Leave Ms. Kim” What the album name meant was a mystery to him, but he knew that he absolutely loved the album. But he couldn’t help but wonder when it would be his turn, Ga In had already debuted, and now she was sending him his second CD. Again, he showed up to lend his support to BEG. This time with a perfectly legitimate reason, because he was going to support Wonder Girls.
In some irony though, the smash hit known as “Tell Me” doused the second attempt by BEG. Seulong was overjoyed for the Wonder Girls, he really was, he knew a couple of them personally. But he couldn’t help but feel bitterness in his mouth when it threatened the survival of his other favourite girl group—which had only been saved from disbanding from the popularity of “Hold the Line”. And secretly, if he had to choose, he preferred the music of BEG, though it wouldn’t have been half diplomatic to verbalise that.
“I know, you don’t need to say anything. We got busted by Wonder Girls. I
perfectly understand. But I wanted to say not to lose hope and keep sight
of your goals. I won’t say that I understand how you feel, because I
don’t believe I do. You’ve waited for a longer time than I have.
It would be downright insensitive for me to bug you about my
insecurities about whether we can continue activities as a group
after this commercial failure. But I believe we can do it. That said,
I would actually put my money on you being able to do it
rather than us being able to do it. This friend of yours
is eagerly waiting for your signed debut album. Fighting!”

Then came the abstract absolute idiocy that was “Hot Blood”. Seulong didn’t even know where to start about how idiotic it was. Normally he would understand the motives behind actions even if he wasn’t exceptionally fond of them. He failed to understand the motive behind this, and he was reasonably certain it wasn’t his intelligence that was a problem. Either way, he survived those brutal eliminations that saw some friends off, and was finally selected to be part of the pool that was set to be split into two, a dance group and a ballad group. It was obvious, at least to Seulong, that the dance group was going to be more popular, but after being shuffled between the two, for better or for worse, he was finally set to be part of the ballad group, Secretly, he was glad, because the desire to be part of a group that could actually sing, instead of relying on dance moves or looking good was somewhat fanned by BEG. Granted, they weren’t very successful, as contrasted to Wonder Girls, but Seulong felt he belonged in the ballad group better.

“Ga In-ah.”
“You scare me when you start like, Ga In-ah. I hope it’s good news.” Ga In mentioned, slightly worried.
“I’m debuting-“ Seulong spilled with a goofy smile plastered on his face, only to be interrupted by the excited squeal of the girl beside him, never mind that people were staring.
“At long last! I’m so so happy for you. I don’t even know what to say, but you know! You’ll do great!” Ga In exclaimed, excited.
“I wanted to tell you in person.”
“Tell me all about it. Who are you debuting with, what’s the name of your group?” Ga In pestered Seulong incessantly with questions, though he was most happy to field
