They began their first song. I watched, entranced as they started rapping. While rap wasn’t usually my style, I was willing to wait it out and listen for him. I began wondering what his voice sounded like. Was it deep? High? Normal? I was quickly obbsessing. I was so caught up in my thoughts that I almost missed it. I saw his mouth open and start moving, forming words. I almost melted right there. The voice that met my ears was ridiculously deep and smooth. I was quickly drawn in. It was hypnotic. I couldn’t believe my ears.

Their whole set went on like this. I remained in my trance untill the very last note. When it ended, my friend elbowed me in the ribs, trying to gain my attention.

“Hmm?” I questioned, never taking my eyes off of his retreating figure.

“His name’s Bang Yongguk. But he goes by Jepp Blackman here,” She whispeded into my ear. He disappeared behind the side of the stage and I finally turned to her.

“Wh-what? What are you talking about?” She rolled her eyes.

“Don’t play innocent. I know perfectly well that you couldn’t take your eyes off of Mr. Deep voice up there. You didn’t move once through 5 songs.”

“I-I don’t know what you mean.” I looked away, but I still managed to see her smirk.

“Come on.” She grabbed my wrist and began pulling me along, towards the stage.

“Wh-what are you doing?” I asked her, trying hard to pull back. She just continued to smirk at me.

“Hey. I have connections back stage, remember? I told you that earlier, missy. And now that someone’s caught your eye, I’m definatly not passing up this rare opportunity for you to meet a guy. So, your coming whether you like it or not.” My eyes widened in horror.

“NO! No no no no!” I dug my heels in further as she succeeded in pulling me with her. We were nearing the stage, much quicker than I would have liked. Why did she have to be so strong?! I finally gave in and let her drag me along. I kept my head down, afraid of seeing him face to face like this.

I was drug all around the backstage untill she finally found who she was looking for. She jumped forward and grabbed the guy, engulfing him in a huge hug.

“Omph!” He exclaimed. She had managed to surprise him. But then he realized who it was and hugged back tightly, rocking her back and forth. “Cousin!!! You came! I’m so happy!” He exclaimed. Oh, yeah… She said her cousin was performing in the last group tonight. Oh shoot! Last group! That was HIS group! They’re group mates?!?! I looked around quickly, afraid that he’d pop out at any second. I calmed down when I didn’t see him there and stood there awkwardly, waiting to be introduced once they stopped freaking out and catching up. I was off in a daze waiting when someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me along. I let out a small squeal as I almost fell over because of the suddeness. I looked up to see who had grabbed me and let out a small gasp. The man looked at me, a small smile playing on his lips. He brought one finger up to his lips,

“Shh,” He motioned, pulling me along. I just blinked and obediently followed.
