New Privilege
The Darkest Light and a Single Bullet
Seo ____'s POV:
I ended up taking a nap unknowingly.
When I woke up, I glanced at the clock and freaked out.
Oh my gosh!
I am late for my next training session!
Eunkwang Oppa is going to kill me!
I rushed to the training area, but it the lights were all off and there was no one in sight.
What the heck?
Where is everyone?
Bam!
I was punched in the face.
Oh great.
It's one of BTOB's surprise attacks for warm up.
Here we go...
With being able to see, I sensed that one of them was planning to strike again.
I barely dodged it and returned the favor back to the owner.
I got him in the stomach.
Score!
Another fighter started to move.
Two guys against me.
Cool.
I punched one of them in the face.
Next, I grabbed another guy's arm and threw him to the ground.
I kicked him in the ribs for a good measure.
"Stop!" a voice shouted.
It was Eunkwang Oppa.
The lights were turned back on and I saw the two fighters.
"Hey Minhyuk and Illhoon," I said.
They groaned in response.
"You really screwed them up, ____. Nice," Eunkwang Oppa chuckled.
"So what's the training today?" I asked.
Oppa had the habit of changing the training everyday.
It's so annoying.
"Follow me," he ordered.
I walked with him to the courtyard that was surrounded by tall titanium walls.
We just entered a huge outdoor paintball arena.
"I thought that we should have some fun," Eunkwang Oppa smirked.
"The loser team does 200 laps of freestyle in the pool, nonstop," I said.
My team was Peniel, Hyunsik, and Sungjae.
Eunkwang's team consisted of Minhyuk, Illhoon, and Changsub.
We put on our gear and spread out onto our territories.
"Ready... Go!" Eunkwang Oppa yelled.
Let the games begin.
I am so not going to swim today.
I'm not in the mood.
I saw Changsub coming my way, but he didn't notice me yet.
I hid behind a wall.
One, two, three.
I ambushed him and shot in square in the chest.
"Your dead," I remarked.
"Yeah, I can see that," Changsub snorted.
I left him and steathily started to get closer to the enemy's territory.
I could see that white flag waving around.
There's a guard infront of it.
Next target: Minhyuk.
He was holding his gun ready to shoot anyone that approached.
I went into hiding once again, behind a block of metal.
I peeked out.
He seemed a little unconcentrated.
I could use that against him.
I aimed my paintball gun and his leg.
If I miss, I'm going to be dead.
I pulled the trigger.
The paintball shot out of the gun and raced through the air.
Please, please please...
"Where the heck did that come from!?!" Minhyuk screamed.
The bullet had shot him.
He was dead with Changsub!
I didn't blow my cover and waited till Minhyuk left the arena.
Now, it's my chance.
I sprinted to the building that had their flag at the top.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw something blue speeding my way.
I avoided it by crouching down.
I scanned the perimeter with my eyes.
Behind a couple bushes was my brother with his gun.
I was about to open fire, but I noticed Hyunsik behind him.
His eyes signaled me to go up the building stairs.
I broke into a run and dodged another paintball.
"Damn it!" I heard my brother say.
I guess Hyunsik got him.
I was on the rooftop and I held the flag.
Using my walkie talkie, I told everyone that my team won.
"I don't want to swim," Illhoon whined.
"Then, your team shouldn't have lost,"I answered.
"I don't have to because I'm the leader, right ____?"Eunkwang Oppa asked uncertaininly.
"Actually, you have the honor of swimming, too,"I mocked.
He sighed.
"Fine. Stay in the living room and wait for me to finish my 200 laps. I need to tell you something," Oppa directed.
"Okay,"I said as I went back inside.
About an hour and a half later, Oppa came into the living room.
"So what is it?" I asked.
"Well, it took a long time to convince Dad, but I managed to persuade him-," Eunkwang Oppa began.
"Just cut to the chase," I interrupted.
"Your going to be able to go out and do missions now, Here's the information for the first one," he concluded.
No.
Flipping.
Way.
"THANK YOU!" I screamed.
"No problem. I figured that you've got enough training and it's the fact that you've never seen the outside world is shocking. Yeah you have the newst gadgets, but it;s good to have fresh air," he said.
He started to go up the stairs, but stopped halfway.
"You're first mission is tomorrow. Rest up. It's going to be a long day tomorrow,"he notified me.
I gave him a thumbs up.
I am totally ready for tomorrow.
