Who I Really Am
The Darkest Light and a Single Bullet
Seo ____'s POV:
I woke up this morning to the sound of my blaring alarm clock.
Gosh, that cursed thing is so annoying!
I got out of bed and quickly got ready.
It was a quarter to 4 A.M.
Any normal person would still be fast asleep.
But, who said that I was normal?
I wore a pair of black sweatpants and a black tank top.
Then, I wore my sneakers and headed for the training room.
To be honest, I didn't know if the sun was out or not.
In my house, there isn't single window.
Nobody can look in and nobody can look out of my house.
When, I got there I opened the door to see Teen Top, all sweaty and tired.
"What's up?" I asked as I went to the corner of training range.
I started to stretch my body.
"Nothing much. But I feel really gross right now," Chunji remarked.
I rolled my eyes.
"Well obviously. You're drenched in sweat right now. Who wouldn't feel disgusting?" I scoffed.
"Hey! I'm just saying!" Chunji exclaimed.
"Just shut up and get back to work," CAP barked.
Chunji groaned and started to exercise again.
Well, if you could call it exercising.
He was actually shooting bullets at a target.
L.Joe was lifting 200 pound weights with each arm and CAP was practicing taekwondo with Changjo.
Niel and Ricky throwing knives at a dummy.
I finished stretching and went over to Changjo and CAP.
"Can I practice with you guys? You two against me," I asked.
They both nodded.
"Okay, we start in 3, 2, 1!" I stated.
At first, I was going easy.
Just throwing a couple light punches and blocking their blows.
I decided to step it up a notch by punching harder and adding occasional kicks.
Changjo and CAP didn't seem tired yet, so I started to try my hardest.
I did a round house kick and sent CAP sprawling to the floor.
Changjo was harder to bring down.
Afterall, he was the best at taekwondo out of the 6 of them.
I sent a quick punch to his face and he tried to return one.
I grab a hold of his arm and flip him to the ground.
"I won," I declared.
"We know that Captain Obvious," Chunji sneered jokingly.
"Shut your mouth and keep shooting," I instructed while glaring at him.
CAP and Changjo got up from the floor.
"Both of you guys improved a lot. Keep up the good work," I told them.
After that, I stopped by Niel and Ricky's station to throw a few knives.
All of them hit the dummy's heart.
I gave Niela and Ricky a couple pointers and moved onto the weights.
I didn't want to look stocky, so I picked lighter weights.
L.Joe, on the other hand, increased his weights to 250 pounds.
He had been doing weights the most.
He started since he was pretty young, about 12 years old.
No wonder he's so short.
It probably stunt his growth.
I finally got to the last station of the day, shooting.
I grabbed a gun and turned to Chunji.
"If I shoot all 10 targets in 5 seconds, then when you go outside today, you have to buy fried chicken with your own money and bring it home for me. If I don't make it, then I'll give you $5,000," I challenged.
"Sure," Chunji agreed while smirking.
He started the stopwatch and I began.
"Time's up!" he announced.
"And I'm done!" I bragged.
"I can't wait for the chicken tonight!" I mocked and put down the gun.
Chunji groaned.
"I got to go now. Tell me how your mission goes," I shouted while I retreated back to my room.
I took my towel and went to the bathroom for a shower.
When all of my sweat was gone, I stepped out and just wore a a random shirt and shorts.
I was famished, but luckily the maids prepared breakfast.
When I was halfway done with my food, Eunkwang and Dad came down while talking.
"Good morning," I greeted.
They simply nodded back and continued their conversation.
"Another mission?" I asked.
The nodded again.
"Why can't I go out, too?" I questioned.
"You're not ready," Father sharply replied.
"I'm 19 years old and am the best fighter here!" I argued.
"But you are a female, so you would be targeted more," he shot back.
"I can take care of myself perfectly and there's BTOB and Teen Top!" I shouted.
My father took a deep breath and calmly said," I'll think about it."
I didn't say anything.
After all, it was the best response he had given me whenever we talked about that topic.
The rest of the meal was quiet.
I finished first and excused myself from the table.
I went back to my bedroom and layed on my bed.
Why is my life so hard?
Oh yeah, it's because I'm not a regular person.
I'm the daughter of the richest mafia group.
Kim Myungsoo's POV:
"Lower me down a little more," I told Sungyeol through my mic.
I was hovering 5 feet off the ground with a cable attached to my back that Sungyeol was controlling.
Oww!
Sungyeol just dropped me onto the ground, face first.
"When we're finished, I am so going to kill you," I growled at him as I unhooked the wire from my harness.
I checked both ways of the corridor.
Luckily, no one was there.
"Lemon Candy, destract the target for 10 minutes. I'll be done by then," I said.
"Okay," Sungjong responded.
I approached the stainless steel door that was infront of me.
Hmmmm...... Finger print and I.D scan.
Not a problem.
I dusted the finger print pad and the prints became more visible.
I took out a piece of tape and made a copy of the imprint onto it.
Then, I put on a plastic glove and rubbed the imprint onto it.
I put my glove clad finger onto the scanner.
Yes! It worked.
From my bag, I took out an I.D.
It was one of the staff's I.D that I managed to swipe.
Beep!
The door was opened.
I went into the room and there were priceless items everywhere.
I grabbed the most expensive objects and replaced them with realistic looking fake ones.
"I can't destract them for any longer. Hurry up!" Sungjong urgently whispered.
"I'm done. Get everyone out of them building. You know where we meet," I answered.
I changed my disguise clothing and walked outside.
I saw a van waiting on the curb.
That's my ride.
I sauntered toward it and the door opened.
Dongwoo Hyung greeted me with a huge smile and I hopped into the car.
Hoya Hyung drove away while the building's security was going crazy.
"Let's see them!" Woohyun Hyung demanded.
I handed him my backpack.
"Woah!" Woohyun Hyung exclaimed.
He took out the old pottery, gold, and silver that I had brought.
"It looks like all of them are from the Silla Era, should be worth a lot of money" Sunggyu Hyung confirmed.
"Another errand finished," I said as I smirked.
Yeah, the seven of us just took artifacts from a museum.
That's right, we're theives.
