Chapter 10

Sungmin was sleeping. She felt someone was her hair. So she lazily opened her eyes. “mom!” she screamed when she saw the person who stoke her hair. She immediately hugged her. “how are you sweetheart?” Kyuhyun’s mom asked. “I’m fine, mom. Kyuhyun oppa helped me” Sungmin said as she smiled. “great.. ah.. you make me worried last day” the old woman said. “what really happened?” she asked Sungmin again. Sungmin blinked few times before saying “I…I was kidnapped!” she screamed. Remember Sungmin the liar? Oh… Now she’s back. Sungmin smiled nervously. “kidnapped? So.. then?” Kyuhyun’s mom seemed confused. “yeah… it..was.. like…t-t-hat… Kyuhyun oppa saved me. Please mom… can we not talk about this?” Sungmin said using her puppy eyes. “oh.. sure sweetheart.. I won’t ask anything bout it anymore” Kyuhyun’s mom smiled. “I bet you’re hungry. I’ve cooked some pumpkin soup” hearing that words Sungmin smiled widely. “yeay!! Pumpkin soup!” she said as she jumped from the bed. Kyuhyun’s mom was just smiling. Sungmin was running to the dinning room. “careful Sungmin, It’s still hot” Kyuhyun’s mom warned as she saw Sungmin sat down on a chair and smiled happily. “sure mom” Sungmin nodded. How could this kid become her daughter in law?

Sungmin was sitting on chair that she dragged from the living room. She was waiting in front of the front door of Kyuhyun’s house. She pouted. She had been waiting for 2 hour. “bunny.. please come here fast” she mumbled. She was waiting for Kyuhyun. Kyuhyun’s mom said that he got bunny with him so she couldn’t help but felt so happy. That’s why she’s waiting for Kyuhyun now. Sungmin yawned. She felt so sleepy yet she couldn’t sleep because she really wanna hug her bunny now. “why.. .. come here buunnyyy…” she said as she lend her back to the chair. She looked at the gate lazily. Her eyes were slowly closing. She tried to opened her eyes widely until she closed it off.

She gasped and opened her eyes again when she heard a klaxon of a car. She saw a black car was She smiled widely. “buuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnyyyyyyy” she screamed as she sat up as ran to the car. She saw Kyuhyun got out from the car. She went close and smiled to him. “what? You miss me?” Kyuhyun asked as he let a small laugh. Sungmin frowned. “no.. I mean.. where is bunny?” Sungmin asked. Kyuhyun raised his eyebrow but then he smiled. “bunny? So you miss bunny but you don’t miss me?” Kyuhyun said as he pretended to be sad. Sungmin was clueless. She bit her lips nervously as she let her puppy eyes. “I don’t mean that.. I was just asking.. if you… bring bunny.. but.. it’s okay.. never mind” Sungmin faked a smile and bowed her face. Seeing that Kyuhyun smirked. “I lied.. “ he added making Sungmin lifted her face. Kyuhyun went near to the luggage of the car and took a bunny doll out there. Kyuhyun could –clearly- saw Sungmin’s eyes grew wider and she looked cuter. “bunny!” she almost screamed.  “here’s your bunny” Kyuhyun went closer and gave it to Sungmin. After that Sungmin immediately hugged her bunny and kissed it few times. “bunny I miss you” she said happily. Kyuhyun could only watched it and smiled –of course-

Kyuhyun smiled. He never felt like this since he start to work and began his adult life. He walked through his room and went to the back yard of his house. He smiled again when he saw Sungmin was watering the roses. “so ahjumma, when will they grow? I want to cut them hehehe” Kyuhyun could hear Sungmin said that as she laughed happily. “ehem” he made a sound making Sungmin and the gardener ahjumma turned back. “oh.. Kyuhyun-sshi” Sungmin smiled. “then.. I’ll go. Excuse me MR. Cho and my lady” the gardener ahjumma said as she left.
“are you ready?” Kyuhyun asked as the ahjumma left.
“ready?” Sungmin asked confusedly. She didn’t make any appointment with Kyuhyun today.
“we will go to your home today and I think… we will spend a night there” Kyuhyun winked. He didn’t expect that asking a permission to skip some days of working could be this easy. Well, his dad loves Sungmin so much. Of course he will unconsciously say ‘yes’
Sungmin looked at Kyuhyun blankly. She was still loading about everything that Kyuhyun just said. “Sungmin? Are you okay?” Kyuhyun asked worried. “really?” Sungmin asked few seconds later. “yes” Kyuhyun answered. “and are you okay?” he added. “eum? Eh.. yes.. I’m okay.. we will go to my home? For real?” Sungmin asked again making Kyuhyun laughed. “yes for real” Kyuhyun said as he petted her head.

Sungmin was holding her bag. She bit her lips nervously. She looked at Kyuhyun behind her. She was standing in front of her house. She didn’t know why but she felt nervous to see her mom. “eum.. Kyuhyun-sshi, you don’t need to spend a night here.. I mean there’re only wo rooms in my house and… you can’t” Sungmin also worried about Kyuhyun. Yeah… he used to live in the luxury house that he had. Kyuhyun went closer after he took his bag. “it’s okay” Kyuhyun smiled. Sungmin looked at him again before knocked the door.

A middle-aged woman opened the door. She smiled when she saw her daughter. “Sungmin” she screamed as she hugged her daughter. “why don’t you call me that you will come?” she said as she smiled happily. “I’m sorry mom…. we want to make  a surprise” Sungmin said smiling back. Her nervousness had gone away. “we?” her mom asked.
“Hello Mrs. Lee” Kyuhyun back there said as he wove his hand.
“oh.. ah.. Kyuhyun-sshi.. I’m sorry I don’t know that you also come..ah.. please come in” Sungmin’s mom suddenly felt nervous. She opened the door widely and welcomed them.
“please have a seat Kyuhyun-sshi” Sungmin’s mom said as they went in. Kyuhyun smiled and nodded. “I’m so sorry… I haven’t cleaned the house or cooked anything.. “ she added. “it’s okay… we are here to check your condition” Kyuhyun said. The old woman looked at him kinda confused. “check my condition? Oh.. I’m fine, thank you for your kindness, Kyuhyun” Sungmin’s mom bowed her head. “oh.. it’s okay Mrs. Cho… no need to assume me as  a CEO of my father’s company.. just assume me as Kyuhyun, your son in law” Kyuhyun smiled. Sungmin’s mom couldn’t help but confused. She gave a questioning look to Sungmin but Sungmin could only shook her head, clueless.
“ah.. sure Kyuhyun-sshi” Sungmin’s mom decided to smiled back to Kyuhyun. “ah.. and please call me Kyuhyun” the CEO added. Sungmin’s mom once again looked at her daughter confusedly. “oh.. sure Kyuhyun” that only words she could say.
“and… can I call you as mom?” Kyuhyun asked again.
oh.. su-sure” this time Sungmin’s mom answered stuttered-ly. What’s wrong with him? The last time he went here, he didn’t even wanna come in to this house. He even didn’t wanna get along with Sungmin’s mom because he thinks her sickness is dangerous and might spread to him. And this time he wanna call her as mom?

“and mom we will spend a night here” Kyuhyun let a smile again making Kyuhyun’s mom gawked.

Sungmin had packed Kyuhyun’s and her belongings. She looked at Kyuhyun who’s busy looking at Sungmin’s photos. “eum… Kyuhyun-sshi… I’ll sleep in the living room.. you can sleep on my bed” Sungmin said. Kyuhyun raised his eyebrows and it made Sungmin felt confused. “why? You want to sleep with Bunny again this night?” Kyuhyun pouted. Oh Gosh! Did Kyuhyun was really pouted? Sungmin blinked. “so..I?”
“you sleep here with me” Kyuhyun let a very cute and childish smile. Sungmin swore he’s the cutest thing in this freaking world. Even cuter than Bunny. Sungmin shook her head . she felt she just betrayed Bunny. Because she really wanna kiss him now. “okay.. but.. my bed is small” Sungmin bit her lips. God! She is so nervous now. “well, it’s okay we can cuddle on the bed” Kyuhyun winked. Did Kyuhyun hit his head or what?
