Yonghwa grabbed the mic and spoke “please refrain from asking questions not related to the press conference”

“then how do you explain these pictures?” the reporter started to take out a few photos from his bag.Hyunjoo’s hands were trembling under the table only chanting ‘I’m dead’ in her head.

The other reporters turned their head to the enthusiastic reporter that finally got a big scoop after so many slumps that took out the various photos and laid it down on the artists table.Hyunjoo tried to hold in the gasp in as she stared at the pictures.Both of them were speechless.There were so many pictures.

Pictures of Yongguk walking in and out of Hyunjoo’s building and Hyunjoo following suit a few minutes later,their little late dinner at a nearby restaurant,a picture of them kissing,the day they encountered with the reporter at the shop and more.Hyunjoo suddenly felt she lacked of air and started to gasp for air.

“o-oppa” Hyunjoo managed to speak and held onto Yonghwa’s hand tight,turning his hand white from the pressure,her knuckles turning white due to holding onto Yonghwa’s hand so tight

“hyung! Bring us to the hospital!” Yonghwa shouted and carried Hyunjoo bridal style “stay with me Hyunjoo.Don’t close your eyes” Yonghwa muttered to himself

“what are you doing here Scandal News? Go somewhere you deserve.Who knows if that photos are real” a reported defended Hyunjoo

“you can say all you want but I know everything” the reporter smirked to himself and packed his things,thinking he won the war and gladly returned to his company,expecting good news

As expected,news went around real fast.In fact,there were too much news to handle in just 2 hours.Yonghwa’s hidden sister,him admitting to lying about his background,Hyunjoo fainting and of course the Hyunjoo and Yongguk dating rumour.

And so on the comments went.Hyunjoo sighed and closed her laptop before slumping back into her bed.The door slid open and there stood the figure of the main topic for the day,panting.’he must’ve ran here.cute’ Hyunjoo smiled to herself.He ran in and pulled Hyunjoo in for a tight hug but not too tight to make the girl that was just admitted for lack of air struggle.

“I was so worried when I saw articles of you” You could swear that you felt a tear on your shoulder –thanks to the thin hospital clothes- but you decided to keep it to yourself since Yongguk thinks real men don’t cry

“I’m fine babe.I was just too stressed and forgot to breathe properly”

He nodded and nuzzled his face into her neck,inhaling in her scent.The scent he missed the most the whole day.He can’t even do his schedule with the thoughts of Hyunjoo in the hospital bothered him.Yongguk accompanied Hyunjoo at the hospital for the night

Meanwhile,the reporter who made the search gears go crazy for the day snapped pictures of Yongguk rushing to the hospital adding more evidence to his tabloid.He smirked to himself and returned to his company again.Upon arriving at his company,his table was cleared and there only stood a letter on his table

“I’m fired?” he asked himself and made bold steps to his manager’s room “what is this sir?”

“I’ve had enough of your nonsense Park Minhyuk.I almost believed you that this Yongguk scandal would blow up the whole Korea but what did we get in response?” the manager showed the supporting comments towards the couple although nothing was confirmed

“but-“

“no buts.You’re fired.I’ve had enough of your nonsense.Even the reporters are defending them.I’m sorry Minhyuk.I hope you’ll find a better job and lead a better life.It was an honour for Scandal News to have you” the manager stood up and offered a handshake,as a sign of peace

The reporter only scoffed and stared at his manager –now ex-manager- offering a handshake “honoured? You’re making me bluff.You’ve always wanted to throw me away and this was the perfect opportunity.Whatever it is,it’s your loss for losing such a great reporter like me”

The manager sighed and retreated his hand away “good luck Park Minhyuk.I know you’re talented”

The reporter walked out not wanting to hear anymore of his ex-manager’s words.Back to the hospital,the couple laid down in bed in each other’s arms although knowing the consequences if they were caught together in bed.

“I missed you so bad” Yongguk nuzzled his face in her neck while Hyunjoo was busy scrolling through the portal sites

“I missed you too babe” Hyunjoo patted his hand

“babe,can you put that down for once and look at me? I came here to see you not the phone” Yongguk pouted

“our name is all over the site”

Yongguk took the phone away and turned it off,tossing it to the couch.Fortunately it did land there.Hyunjoo was about to say something but Yongguk beat her to it

“ok,I have something to tell you.Honestly,I was going to propose to you tonight.I was going to pick you up from the press conference and we’re going on a little dinner date and I would propose,I would confirm it to everyone.I even had everything set up but things weren’t going my way so” Yongguk took something from his pocket

“oppa” Hyunjoo gasped softly releasing what Yongguk was doing

“Hyunjoo,Jung Hyunjoo.My dear girlfriend,correction,my soulmate,my best friend,my love of my life.We’ve been together for almost 5 years and it’s been so long for me.I’ve wanted to pop the question earlier but I thought you weren’t ready.Although this proposal isn’t exactly the pretty proposal with roses everywhere that you imagined but I hope this is ok.Jung Hyunjoo,will you marry me?” Yongguk flipped open the velvet box revealing a ring.It didn’t have any diamonds on it but the carving was absolutely beautiful and there was written Yongguk on her ring.

“yes Yongguk,a million times yes” Hyunjoo teared up and pulled him in for a bone crushing hug.So glad that she can officially call the love of her life hers and have him in her arms forever.Yongguk slipped in the ring on her finger and so did Hyunjoo.Yongguk’s ring was exactly the same but he had Hyunjoo written on it

“I love you so much.I’ll get you a real diamond ring for our wedding” he smiled and pulled her in for a passionate kiss.After the heated session,Yongguk grabbed his phone and grabbed her hand,intertwining her fingers with him but made sure the ring was show and quickly snapped a picture

“what are you doing?” Hyunjoo blinked

“confirming to the world” He winked and started to post the picture to SNS with a caption ‘She’s officially mine’

“but what about the company? Do they know you’re doing this? The members? The fans? “ Hyunjoo kept on babbling random people

“baby baby,stop” Yongguk held on to Hyunjoo “they know.Don’t worry,they know.” Yongguk smiled slightly and Hyunjoo nodded

And once again the portal sites exploded with Yongguk’s post.Who knew Korea would have such a day? A day full of surprises.Suddenly the door flung open and Yonghwa stood there,panting.His eyes glanced down to the couple’s finger

“it’s true” he muttered under his breath

“it’s really true” Yongguk confirmed the news with Yonghwa

“you’re getting married”

“but I don’t think we’re gonna marry that early are we?” Hyunjoo stared up at Yongguk

“yup,both of us are really busy right now with Hyunjoo and her cafe,B.A.P and our tour” Yongguk ruffled her hair

“I guess I’m happy for you guys then? I’m glad you guys found each other”  Yonghwa smiled and took his bag from the couch “I see that you’re in good hands.I should get going now.I’ll see you tomorrow morning” Yonghwa walked out,leaving the couple alone

“well,I’ve got better news.The cafe is opening this weekend.Are you free?” Hyunjoo looked up at Yongguk,secretly hoping that he would come

“hmm~ I don’t know.I think my schedule’s pack.With the pre-recording and all” Yongguk lied to Hyunjoo,he wanted to surprise her there with the other members.He somehow knew that the opening was going to be the weekend

“hmm? Oh really?” Hyunjoo tried to mask her disappointment by smiling “it’s ok.I think Jonghyun oppa is going to be there.He promised me”

“Jonghyun? Wait what whoa,Jonghyun? No no” Yongguk was surprised at the response from Hyunjoo

“and Himchan oppa maybe.He did said he was going to drop by” Hyunjoo lied,trying to get a reaction from Yongguk but he fell silent after hearing Himchan’s name

“I’m so glad that you’re fine with him now.” Yongguk smiled and ruffled her hair “no more tense atmosphere although the fact that he still likes you bothers me but I don’t care”

Hyunjoo laughed and shook her head “even with this ring on my finger and me saying yes a million times you’re still doubting me? I love you too Bang Yongguk” Hyunjoo giggled and pinched his cheeks

“I love you more future Bang Hyunjoo” 

“Bang Hyunjoo? That sounds cute” both of them laughed and settled in bed a few minutes later,letting sleep take over.
