*Hyunjoo’s POV*

“hey!” there he was greeting us happily,like nothing happened before.How the hell can he be so happy after all of the things that happened? Well,definitely not us

“LET’S GET THE PARTY STARTED!” Yongnam shouted and rushed over to the bbq

“you stay beside me and never leave my sight” Yongguk wrapped his arms around my waist tighter and took me to the bbq grill set to watch over Yongnam,who was getting excited after every minute passed

“oppa,let me help you” I placed some of the meat on the grill set and we continued to cook together “don’t worry ok? I’ll be here,beside Yongnam oppa.You trust him more right? Go and have more fun” I pushed Yongguk away slightly “go and talk with unnie.It’s been a while since you’ve met” I smiled and pushed him more

“arasso but don’t go anywhere ok!” he eyed me before finally walking away.I chuckled and nodded

“hey,you ok?” Yongnam nudged me

“huh? Of course I am” I smiled

“well,sorry for inviting Himchan.I know you guys go way back but come on,he’s still my best friend.Everything will be ok.Don’t worry” Yongnam slung his arms around my shoulder and patted my shoulder

“Yeah,I hope so” I sighed and nodded slightly

“hey hey,let’s keep positive shall we?” Yongnam smiled and pulled me close “sorry for doing this but” Yongnam quickly pecked my cheek

“YA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY GIRLFRIEND?!” Yongguk shouted and stomped towards us

“see you later princess” Yongnam winked and ran away.I bursted into laughter as Yongnam ran away and Yongguk’s face was so red

“what are you laughing at?” Yongguk stared at me

“you” I clutched onto my stomach as I continued to burst into laughter.Yongguk pouted and just glared at me “ok ok.I’m sorry babe” I wiped the tears from laughing so much and hugged him “it’s just too funny.It’s just Yongnam anyways,don’t worry” I winked and get back to grilling the meat

“you stay here.That guy has to die in my hands” Yongguk patted my shoulder and chased after Yongnam

“here,let me help you” someone placed a meat on the grill and stood beside me.I knew  it better than anyone else who it was

“I can do this myself” I sighed and pushed him off gently but he stood back beside me

“don’t be stubborn.I know you hate inhaling smoke.I’m surprised that Yongguk let you do this” he scoffed “what a great boyfriend he is”

“hey! Don’t you ever say such things about Yongguk and I was the one who volunteered.So much for trying to be friends with you again” I muttered the last sentence under my breath

“what? Friends? Seriously? You’re considering it?” his face popped in front of mine.I pushed his face harshly and walked away from the grill

“yeah I was about to but then you decided to pop off the slight chance.So,you can kiss being friends again bye bye” I plopped down on the sand and chugged down my drink

“ya...” he sat beside me and put the drink down “stop drinking.It’s not good”

“why does that concern you?”

“I’m your friend aren’t I?”

“well,not anymore.Let’s just not talk anymore can we? I have meat to grill” I sighed and walked back towards the grill

After eating I sat by the sea,watching the sea crash onto shore until I felt a presence beside me

“hey”

Himchan...

I sighed and tried to ignore him.There was a really long silence between us before he decided to break it

“I’m sorry”

For the millionth time.I’m sorry.I’m getting sick of that word

“I know” I sighed “me too”

“really?”

I nodded slightly and turned to him,flashing one of my best genuine smile “Hey! I’m Hyunjoo.Jung Hyunjoo” I handed out my hand,ready for a handshake

He chuckled slightly and shook my hand “Himchan,Kim Himchan.You did a good job in filming We Got married with me”

“You too.Great acting skills you have there” I smiled and pulled my hand away

“come here” Himchan pulled me in for a tight hug.I smiled and hugged him back “I missed you best friend “

“I missed you too” I patted his back gently .After a few minutes after being in each other’s embrace we pulled away.

“good to have you back” he ruffled my hair,earning a chuckle from me

“good to have you back too.Let’s get back to the BBQ before Yongguk oppa kills Yongnam” I stood up and Himchan followed from behind

“you guys look suspicious” Yongguk raised an eyebrow on us

“we made up” I smiled and gave a peck on his cheek

“YOU WHAT?!” Yongguk freaking shouted in my ear

“we made up.We’re friends again”

Silence filled the air.Nobody dared to talk.Yongguk was so taken aback.It wasn’t because he was angry but maybe he felt that his position is in danger but I ensured him that nothing is going to change,even Himchan convinced him.In the end,he gave in but set some boundaries between us.I was still surprised on how fast Yongguk gave in.Maybe he expected us to make up?

*A few days later*

I woke up,yet again to the the sound of my phone buzzing.I finally get to rest from work but no,my phone decided to buzz at 7 in the morning on my dayoff.I sighed and answered the phone half-heartedly

“hello?” I answere harshly

“Hyunjoo-ah,can you help oppa?” it was Jonghyun.He was talking half formal,half informally

“oppa,why are you talking so weirdly?” I raised an eyebrow

“just help me.Can you come to the practice room? I need your help.Wear prettily~” Jonghyun ordered and hung up.I scoffed at the phone and lazily dragged myself from my bed to the bathroom to get ready

I stared at the mirror once again,satisfied with my appearance.A white shirt underneath the leather jacket and a coat I had over all of my clothes to keep me warm with a pair of skinny jeans and Vans sneakers.I sighed to myself and slung my bag over my shoulder before making my way out to the practice room.

This better be really urgent or not Jonghyun will never call me to the practice room as fear that I’ll bump into Yonghwa.I passed the security easily as they said that they were already expecting me.I raised an eyebrow and made way to the floor that the manager guided me.From outside I could hear laughter and little screaming.I poked my head in and everyone turned their heads at me

“oppa?” I cautiously asked and Jonghyun ran to me

“Hyun-ah~” Jonghyun pulled me in for a tight hug and dragged me in the practice room

I finally got a good grasp around the practice room.The whole FNC family are here.When I mean everybody,even he is here.Cameras were on every corner of the room and the bright lighting hurts my eyes.There were a few unfamiliar faces too.Maybe trainees?

“I never knew you were gonna bring a girl” someone cooed and the others joined in

“sit here Hyun” Jonghyun guided me to sit beside Minhyuk,I gave a slight nod to Minhyuk,acknowledging his presence in this dumbfounded situation

Everyone went back to whatever game they were doing but I felt really uncomfortable even with Jonghyun beside me and it was all thanks to Yonghwa boring holes into my very soul.I tried my best to smile and avoid Yonghwa’s intense gaze.Filming ended late at night and I quickly grabbed my things to go home

“Hyun-ah,let’s go for a walk with oppa” Jonghyun held onto my wrist but I raised an eyebrow

“oppa? You never call yourself oppa”

Jonghyun made a signal that some of the cameras are still rolling and they’re going to film Jonghyun “YA! Wait for me” a familiar voice called over for Jonghyun

I cursed under my breath hoping it’s not him.Oh how wrong I was.He was wearing his coat and ready to go out.I sighed and tried to be in my best behaviour as the cameras are still rolling.The three of us walked out of the building and had some hot fresh rice cakes at a nearby mini restaurant.I tried to act normal and avoid him at all costs.

“cut! I think this is enough” the PD wrapped the filming and we were left there

“I’ll go home first”  I gave Jonghyun a hug and a slight nod to Yonghwa,acknowledging him

“Hyunjoo-ah,let’s talk.Please” Yonghwa held onto my wrist and pleaded.I sighed and about to yank my hand away when Jonghyun gave me the eyes telling me that I should listen to him for once
