My Latest Favorite

-Rinrin's POV-

"Wow, it looks pretty." Soochan-eonni sighed, I chuckled mischievously to myself.

"My tofu, prepare to be mine." I whispered. 'Now that I have this Diary you are going to be mine!' I added mentally.

"What? Who's tofu?" Eonni asked curiously, I turned to her and shook my head.

"No one, let's go, now that I have my diary, I'm happy and ready to eat a bucket of hot yummy fried chicken!" I  
exclaimed in happiness. Chicken is the best food for celebration!

Now that I have my diary, I became more and more jolly until I got home.

Mom got confused why I was smiling to myself when I entered the house, but I only told her I was happy, because I'm  
going to eat tofu!...muhahahahah,,,

Wondering who tofu is aren't you? *evil laugh*

He's real name is Lee Jinki, he refers to be called Lee Onew, I don't why, but all that matters now is he's going to be  
mine!..muhahahahahahahahah!!!

Ahem....anyway, he's my seatmate, he talks a little so I'm the one who does the talk all the time, but he listens well to  
me, and laughs when I do, Oh my Onew~ he was always sweet to me, but when I confessed my love for him, he  
transferred seat and ignored me, but time to time I would see him glancing at me, but then would turn away.

It broke my chicken heart, but I will never give up!

*Flashback*

I was sitting in the usual place where I always meet my dearest lovable fluffy tofu, our shared table in the classroom, he  
doesn't how much I was cunning for him, and he doesn't know that every time we talked my heart beats faster than the train running on the railroads.

Enough with the drama!

"Rinrin-goon." He called when he arrived inside the classroom, that day I was planning to confess my affection for him,  
but I was afraid he'll reject me, but I still took the deepest breath that I could and took all the courage.

I turned to him with a genuine smile on my Oh-so-beautiful face. He smiled back at me, his chinky eyes almost closed,  
his white teeth sparkling, and his long brown hair flipping to the sides. I almost melted, but I didn't.

He sat next to me, his original seat.

"Rinrin-goon." He called again. I nodded absentmindedly.

My heart was pounding so hard in my chest that I almost felt like it was pushing its way out from my chest. I held my  
chest and panted. How can I even confess at this state?

Relax, Rinrin, relax.

"Rinrin-goon, are you alright? Are you feeling alright?" Tofu asked concernly, leaning closer to me inspecting my face.

I blushed wildly, turning away.

"I'm okay." I said, I was really surprised that I didn't shatter, good thing, at least my mouth didn't betray me except for  
my action.

"Are you sure? You don't look really fine to me." He frowned, leaning away now.

I shook my head.

"Oppa, I was going to tell you something." I started, more surprise that I sounded braver than I expected.

His eyebrow curled up.

"Okay, say it, I'll listen." He said very sweetly. I a large breath first, and blurted.

"I like you!" I almost shouted, good thing nobody heard me, since they have a business of their own, and I have mine.

He suddenly frowned, making my heart fluster.

"Okay, now get your books and turn it to page o~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"

*End of Flashback*

That was our teacher, she didn't really interrupted in the middle of my confession, but tofu’s reaction she did interrupt,  
that moment tofu turned away.

I don't want to remember that heartbreak anymore; all I want to remember now is how tofu comes to me and tell me  
he loves me more that I do.

That would be really sweet right?

I took my newly bought Dairy after I took a shower and change into my pajamas, and took my newly bought, I mean  
free diary and jumped on my chicken printed bed.

I opened it very slowly so that I wouldn't ruin it's beautiful cover and tear the paper, especially the magic of it.

"Onew." I whispered as I slowly wrote the name on the first page of the diary. Very, very slowly indeed, it has to be in  
perfect so the magic takes effect in a very instant.

After about a minute of thorough writing, i turned the page again and wrote my wish.

"Onew, be mine!" I breathed and laughed, at my stupidity.

"Rinrin!!!!!!!!" Soochan eonnie screamed on a Monday morning, when she caught me on a hug on my back, i jumped  
and turned to her as she let go of me. She was giggling wildly.

"Eonnie? What happened to you?" I asked curiously, she kept on giggling.

"I saw him." She said, I arched an eyebrow.

"Rinrin-goon, this is the first time you don't know what Im talking about." She added. "The guy in my dream, I saw him last friday at Hyegun-eonnie's coffee shop!" She gushed.

"Oh my! How could I be slow?" I giggled. "So how was he? Not dreamy anymore!" I gushed.

"Well he was real of course, and he's name is Key."

"Oh~ you're so lucky eonnie, I told you the diary works a lot!" She frowned.

"The diary helped, Rinrin-goon, but I didn't write anything so I still don't think it's magical." She said.

"Soochan! Let's go we're late." Soochan eonnie's classmate called her, and she said goodbye to me and left.

The Diary didn't help? She didn't write anything on it? How can a guy in a dream be real then? So that means...NO!
 
My tofu will be mine!!!!!!

I went to my class eagerly, but I didn't find tofu there, he transferred seat remember, but he wasn't at his new seat either.

*Four Days Later (means friday again)*

Onew was still out of sight, where did he go? He was absent for almost a week, I haven’t heard anything from him  
either, did he move? or he realize he hate school, because of me.

I was getting more and more paranoid as the day of his absence passes. I really wanted to see him, and why does the  
diary's magic not taking effect? This is rubbish! I should have Onew on my side by now!

"Rinrin-goon?" A familiar small voice called behind me. I turned around and found Rinhyo-eonnie grinning at me.  
"Rinrin-goon, where are you headed?" She asked.

"I don't know, I'm looking for someone?" I said, I didn't also know where I was going either. "He's absent for a week so..."

"He?" She cut off. "Well if HE's been absent for a week, of course he wouldn't be here don't you think? Maybe he's sick  and stayed at home." she suggested with a hint of teasing.

Why didn't I think of it? Maybe he was and all I do is wait till he comes! Should I visit him? Yes!

"Thank you so much eonnie, you're so smart, well of course I'm smarter!" I gushed and ran on the other side.

I stared at the door of the Lee Residence, should I knock? Of course. What will I do after that? Wait for the door to  
open. And what if his mother or father opens the door? Say Hi and be jolly, ask where he is and why was he absent for a week. What if...he opens the door? I don't know.

I rang the bell hesitantly, and waited for it to open, whoever was going to do it.

I heard the slow twitching of the doorknob, and it swung open, revealing my tofu, with his messy hair and tired eyes. I stood frozen.

"Rinrin-goon." He breathe.

"Oppa."

"What are you doing here?" He asked. I gulped.

"You were absent for a week, I was...worried." I said, he stayed there, but then a thoughtful tired smile crept on his  
oh-so-cute face.

"I was sick, and..." he paused. "Thank you." He said.

"No problem, when are you going back to school? Are you alright now?" I asked spontaneously. His smile winded and because he did he didn't look tired anymore.

"I'm fine...now, you want to come in?" He asked, i nodded.

"Welcome to my home." He said as soon I stepped inside, his house was too neat for a boy. "I live here alone." He  
bluffed.

I turned to him, he smirked at me.

"I thought you were sick?" I asked, suspiciously, he chuckled.

"I told you, I'm fine...NOW." He said, looking down at me, he really looked fine now, he came closer, and I was  
stepping backwards, it was so unusual that he was acting like this.

His eyes was seductively staring at me, while he was still coming closer, and I was still backing away, but he suddenly  
tripped but not enough to make him fall, just to break the eye contact.

"Stupid wiring." He muttered.

I chuckled, he looked up at me while he rested his hands on his knees and smiled sheepishly at me.

"The wire is...Okay, you wanna eat something?" He asked, trying to get himself out of his embarrassment. I nodded, still chuckling. He straightened up and took my hand and dragged me to his kitchen, which was also neat.

"Are you sure you live alone?" I asked, he smiled sheepishly again.

"Not really, I said that to make you...well you see I was betrayed by the wire on the floor." He chuckled nervously.  
"Rinrin-goon, I--"

"Chicken!" I exclaimed when I saw chicken on a plate placed on his kitchen table.

"I was cooking." He said.

"You like chicken?" I asked eagerly. He nodded. "It's my favorite." He added, gripping hard on my hand. but not  
enough to hurt me. "But not anymore." He said.

My heart pounded fast again, like a train running on a railroad, like the time it did when I did my confession. The time  
when he didn't respond and transferred seat, away from me.

"Sorry, if I've been a jerk, I also like you, but..."

"You-you like me?" I cut him, he nodded.

"I was just afraid that our friendship will be ruined you know, but if you dump me now I'll understand and I'll promise  
I'll stay out of your way--"

"No don't do that please, I won't dump you, I promise!" I countered. He suddenly smiled and pulled me into a hug.

I was sure my eyes winded, I was going to explode any moment now, if he won't let me go. But he only tightened his  
hug.

"So I'm forgiven right? and you're going to be...mine...right?" He said sheepishly, letting go of me, I was speechless. The diary is real, it granted my wish, tofu you're mine! He's mine! He's mine!

But I was too stunned to celebrate and he was staring into my eyes. I nodded, he smiled widely.

"Should we celebrate?" I asked absentmindedly, still stunned, "Let's eat the chicken." I suggested.

"But I want my new favorite first." he said, the smile not leaving his face.

"What?" I asked, suddenly shifting back to my senses.

"I want to spend time with you first, I miss talking to you." He said. I nodded, smiling to my success.

"As long as you're mine." I whispered to myself.

"Rinrin, I love you." He said, suddenly being serious.

"You-you do?" He nodded.

"More than you do."
