One Week Ago....

Lee Jieun's POV

"I-I-I like you," I stammered as I spoke to "him."

"I'm sorry, but I only date pretty girls. Not ugly girls like you." Yoseob said to me. I felt like crying after he said that.

"B-b-but-" I said.

"Listen nerd, I hate to break it to you but, I HATE GIRLS LIKE YOU," he said to me then walked away. Right when he left I start balling my eyes out. Why did I like a guy like him? He's so evil had has no respect for girls like me. So why did I like him? I dont know, but right now I want to hate him, but I can't. All I can have is a one-sided love. And of course be laughed at.

Present Day.....

Lee Jieun's POV

"Did you guys hear?" A voice said as I walked through the halls.

"What?" said another.

"We're having a new student, it's a girl and I heard that she's pretty," the voice said again.

"Hey, she might have a chance with Yeoseob. Unlike someone." The voice laughed. I bit my lip. Why is everyone still talking about that? Oh yeah, I forgot they only want to make fun of me. Then I hear a voice ask me.

"Hello, my name is Park Jiyeon. Can you help me find the office?" I turn my head, wow she's pretty. I smile.

"Yeah, follow me," I say "Oh yeah, my name is Lee Jieun."

"Wow..." she says "a pretty name for a pretty girl."

"I'm not pretty," I say "I'm the laughing stock."

"Laughing Stock?" Jiyeon says shocked. "Wae?"

"Because...Last week-" I start.

"Its okay you dont have to tell me if you dont want to," Jiyeon says. I smile at her. She seems nice; nicer than most girls. We get to the office and she is in the same class as me ! YAY!

"I'm lucky to have you in my class," Jiyeon says.

"Why?" I ask.

"Because...." she said "I want to be friends with you. I know exactly how you feel. People use to call me an ugly nerd before too."
