Waiting for my Order

Made For You (TaengSic)

I HAVE WRITTEN ALL THESE CHAPTERS ALMOST A YEAR AGO.

That I have been posting a lot lately; however, this is the last chapter of Made For You I have written. So now, I have to convince myself every day to write. LOL! So I hope I get inspired a lot. xD

Jessica walked over to her former bedroom, where Taeyeon slept in. She knocked on the door, asking for the younger girl to have breakfast with her. When the door opened, she greeted the younger girl with a smile. “Good morning,” she said.

The younger girl returned the gesture, flashing her perfect set of teeth at Jessica. “Morning,” she said and that was that.

There was silence for a couple of seconds - they stood there like statues, doing nothing but stare - until Jessica invited the other girl to the dining room, where the food awaited them. As they walked, Jessica felt a hand held hers. She discreetly looked down, seeing the other girl’s hand holding hers. Just when she was about to tighten her grip, she felt the hand slip out. “Good morning, ladies,” Beth, who wore a white ensemble, greeted them as they climbed down the stairs. “How was your sleep?” the elderly asked, looking Taeyeon in the eyes.

“It was wonderful. Thank you for asking.” The girl flashed a soft smile. “And thank you for filling up the tub for me as well. The milk and roses were lovely, but you shouldn’t have.”

Beth shook her head. “Of course we have to. You’re our young miss’ girlfriend; it’s only natural to treat you like we treat her as though you were she.”

“Oh.” Taeyeon paused, biting her lower lips, and then looked away then back at Beth. “Thank you,” she mumbled her reply as she bowed her head a little.

Jessica couldn’t help but smile as she noticed this demure side of Taeyeon. She was about to reach for Taeyeon’s hand, but was interrupted. “Young Miss,” Beth motioned her arms, giving way for the both of them to pass and head to the kitchen. “Your meals will get cold.”

Jessica then followed the woman towards the dining area, where a feast awaited them. There were different varieties from waffles, bacon, honey ham, porridge, hot dogs, pancakes, muffins, and many other viands. “Beth,” the woman then looked back, meeting Jessica’s eyes after she called. “Are we feeding the salvation army?”

Beth giggled a little and then answered, “No. But your friend, Miss Hwang, informed me that they will be here around ten o’clock; I simply took the liberty to cook for all your guests. Although, I didn’t know what their preferences are, we prepared what we believed would be suitable for all of your guests.”

Jessica sighed. “You didn’t have to do this.”

“Let us do our job and do things for you, Young Miss. You haven’t been here for years so we just want to do all we can. And plus, if we impress your friends, wouldn’t you want to visit more often with them?” She let out a soft laugh and then look at Taeyeon. “So Miss, I hope you’ll convince our young mistress to come here more often,” she smiled at the younger girl.

“I---I...” Taeyeon started as she looked the woman in the eyes, but averted her gaze just a split second later. “That’ll be up to Jessica,” she mumbled a reply. “But I’d love to visit if she’ll let me...”

“Perfect,” Beth replied. “Did you hear that, Young Miss? It seems that Miss Taeyeon took a liking of the villa, so please do bring her next time.”

The blonde looked to her side, and Taeyeon was still not meeting her eyes as the latter still had her head bowed down. She continued to walk and then sat herself on one of the chairs, and Taeyeon took the seat next to her. The phone then rang and so Beth hurried to answer it.

“So... you wanna eat now?” the blonde asked as she looked to her side. “We can start now if you want.”

Taeyeon was still looking down; she shook her head. “We can wait. It’s a little past ten anyway so they’ll be here soon.”

“Okay.”

Well that was great, Jessica thought. She didn’t know why last night was so amazing; they finally began talking about their feelings, but now, this. They couldn’t even hold a conversation anymore. It seemed like after a reply, it just dies every time. And how about when Taeyeon held her hand? She understood that this was a big step for the younger girl, but then she only wished that the girl would be more comfortable around her - that was all. They were in this together anyway.

Grabbing the glass of iced-water in front of her, Jessica took a quick sip since she didn’t know what else to do. Should she bring up what happened last night? That the younger girl confessed to her? How about holding hands or hugging? They pretty much did that last night, but she realized it would be odd to talk about the events that already happened, especially something like confessing or when Taeyeon leaned on Jessica the whole night.

Well, maybe she should start another conversation? She was really careful when it involved her girlfriend. Always. This wasn’t like her past relationships. Had this been like one of Jessica’s flings, she wouldn’t even bother bringing anyone here or introduce that person to her family. But she did with Taeyeon. It was nice that she could do things with Taeyeon, and she could still experience some firsts with the girl; however, could she also be like when she was with the others - to be able to speak to the girl freely?

Well, it was also Taeyeon’s first relationship so she couldn’t blame the girl. They might be sharing a handful of firsts together then.

Jessica sighed, realizing she needed to be the one initiating everything; she had the experience so she should - more experience than the other girl at least. “So,” Jessica started as she placed the glass back on the table, “what do you want to do today?”

“Uhmmm,” Taeyeon started, lifting her head and meeting Jessica’s gaze. Quickly, she looked at the flower center piece that was placed on the dining table. “We can go horseback riding? Then maybe we can go swimming?” She then removed her right hand from her chin, hitting the bottom of her fist on her left palm. Moving her head, she looked at the blonde. “We can have a bonfire! It’ll be fun,” she finished with a smile on her face, clearly excited with her plans.

Smiling, Jessica nodded and answered, “Sure. We can do that.” She was happy that the girl was actually looking at her now, at least, more than five seconds.

“But maybe we should ask the others what they want to do first. So everyone can have fun.” Taeyeon pressed her lips together, scowling her brows.

Jessica laughed. This girl in front of her always thought of everyone else, and not thinking about her own happiness. “Screw them,” she said as the smile was still plastered on her face. “We’ll do what you want to do.”

“But how ab---”

“I invited you so you can have fun. They can do whatever they want, you know.” Jessica smiled. She wanted her girlfriend to remember this moment, and for that to happen, they needed to do things the girl wanted. “And plus, a bonfire sounds really good.”

The younger girl’s smile widened. “It will!”

Not long after, Jessica was informed by James that her visitors were already outside, parking the cars. The blonde decided to meet them at the front, and so she asked Taeyeon to come along. They saw three cars. The attendants were already walking towards the car, preparing to get the luggage from the guests.

The blonde saw Yuri getting off the driver’s side of one car, while Tiffany got off the passenger’s side. She couldn’t help but smirk as finally her friends were back to normal. “Kwon! How did you manage to convince the witch to take you back?” Jessica asked as she started to walk towards her friends. She looked back and noticed Taeyeon was following her not very far, so she reached her hand out, held Taeyeon’s hand in hers, and continued her pace. A smile crept in when she felt Taeyeon’s grip tighten. She couldn’t help but feel glee from that small gesture. To Jessica, for younger girl to do that, it seemed like a big step and she liked every angle of it.

“Well, you know, she can’t help but accept me.” Yuri giggled as she walked towards her girlfriend. “I told her I’m unemployed for a week so she needs to take care of me.”

The blonde snorted a laugh. “That was it? That made you get back together?”

“No! She’s still under probation!” Tiffany argued; her arms crossed on her chest, pouting. “I mean, I felt bad so I said we’re okay but she needs to still have time for me.”

“Awwe,” Jessica hummed. “Look at Tiffany, she’s just scared to be alone.” She reached out her free hand to hug her best friend, but Tiffany swatted it away.

“Hi Taeyeon,” Tiffany greeted as she peeked over Jessica shoulder, noticing their hands together. A smirk crept in Tiffany’s face and she said, “Oh? What is this progress?” She looked at Yuri. “Did you know about this?”

“Nope. I mean, I’ve been busy so yeah,” the tanned girl said as she shook her head.

“How will I have the time to tell you that we’re really dating? You guys were talking about your problems and say how much you miss each other, yet you won’t even talk, so I just kept quiet.” the blonde said with a cheeky grin.

Tiffany laughed. “You’re so sly, Jessica. You’re already holding hands.”

“Very funny. I love your sarcasm.” The blonde blankly looked at her.

Not minding anything, Tiffany then murmured, “Now I wonder what did you guys do last night.” Remembering what happened last night, Jessica’s and Taeyeon’s cheeks felt warm, having this tint of pink on their respective cheeks. So the blonde’s best friend couldn’t help but blurt out, “Wait.... what did you guys do?!”

There wasn’t anything particularly bad in what they did last night, it was just embarrassing to remember it now in front of her friends. She couldn’t say that they had a cheesy moment. “Nothing!”

“What do you mean nothing? Look at you two.” Tiffany pointed. “You didn’t do anything bad to Taeyeon... right?” Then she took a step forward, hugging Taeyeon. “She didn’t do anything stupid to you, right? She didn’t... force you to do anything?”

“Yah! Hwang! What do you think of me?!” Jessica bellowed.

Not minding Jessica, Tiffany pushed Taeyeon a little to have a better view of the younger girl. “You can tell me anything. If we sue Jessica now with whatever she did to you, you’re set for life. I know good lawyers who can at least get a portion of Jessica’s money. You like this villa? We can argu---”

“Hwang! Shut up! We didn’t do anything. We just watched a movie!”

“Movie? That was all? You just watched?” She looked Taeyeon in the eyes, the younger girl then bowed, avoiding Tiffany’s gaze. The chef then noticed the hint of pink on Taeyeon’s cheek was more defined. “What happened last night?!”

“Kwon, can you please tell your girlfriend to not harass mine?” Jessica looked at her friend. “Taeyeon’s getting uncomfortable.”

Yuri raised her hands, shaking her head. “You heard her. I’m under probation! I can’t help you. Sorry.”

Before Jessica could say anything, Hyomin, Sunny, Seohyun, Yoona, Narsha, and IU walked towards them. Two unfamiliar faces were in the back.

“Glad you made it guys!” Taeyeon smiled at them while still in Tiffany’s embrace.

“Of course! And, it’s a good thing that Narsha is friends with Jessica, she was the one who convinced our parents to let us go,” IU said with a huge smile on her face. She then looked at Taeyeon’s hand, and at the same time, the younger girl let go of Jessica’s hand.

“Yeah, Jessica. You owe me,” Narsha chimed in with smile on her face. “You need to take me out for dinner.”

“Oi, Narsha!” Tiffany called out, scowling her brows at her former teacher. “Jessica can’t take you out on dates and pretend you guys actually have lives. She has a girlfriend now.”

“That’s right. You can’t drag Jessica around anymore, and she won’t be dragging you anywhere anymore,” Yuri said, supporting her girlfriend like always. This had been the case even when they were younger. It was always Yuri simply agreeing with Tiffany and not bothering to start an argument. Life was better to her that way, she figured.

“Yeah. So you better support their love and respect it,” Tiffany lectured.

“Who? Who are you dating, Jessica?!” The teacher didn’t hide her enthusiasm. It had been awhile since the blonde dated, and it intrigued her who it was. She then looked at Jessica to Yuri to Tiffany, and finally landing her gaze to Taeyeon. “Wait, so you’re actually dating?!” And then she stepped forward, stood in front of Jessica. “You’re not just being a good mentor?!”

Yuri, Tiffany, and Jessica couldn’t help but laugh at their friend. They hadn’t seen Narsha like this before and it was refreshing. “What’s wrong with dating me? You make it seem like a bad thing,” Jessica said, when she finished laughing.

“Well Taeyeon,” Narsha looked at her student. “If she does anything to you, tell me. We’ll go to her house and tell her parents on her. As your favorite, most amazing teacher, I’ll do anything to help you.” She beamed a smile.

Tiffany released Taeyeon from her embrace and raised her hand in front of Narsha. “High five!” she said as the teacher slapped it with a smile on her face still plastered. “I told her I know good lawyers. She can tell me if Jessica does something funny, I’ll take care of the legal matters.”

“Good job!”

“Oi! Her friends might have the wrong impression of me! Shut up already!” Jessica then looked at Taeyeon, the kid was simply laughing with her friends. That was great. At least Taeyeon still didn’t think bad of her after what these morons said about her. “Narsha, you should stop being so friendly with your students. You should at least wait for them to graduate before you become chummy with them.”

“If I wasn’t chummy with them, half of these kids wouldn’t be able to to come here,” the teacher argued. Jessica understood that Narsha gave off that very friendly nature and that her students were also her friends, but sometimes, she worried for the teacher since it could also cause the higher ups of the school to think badly of her. “And now, a task is added. I need to look after Taeyeon more now.”

“Stop making it seem like I’m the bad guy here.” Jessica shook her head. “Let’s just go inside and eat breakfast.”

“Wait,” Taeyeon said as she stepped forward, and then walked over to her friends’ side - the younger crowd. “Let me introduce everyone first.”

“Oh? You’re done flirting so you remember us now?” Sunkyu muttered under her breath, though loud enough for everyone to hear.

Jessica wanted to say something about this brat, but she knew better. She didn’t want to start a fight or to make things harder on Taeyeon or Hyomin. She still respected Sunkyu to a certain extent since she was friends with her girlfriend, and she was also in a relationship with her cousin.

Taeyeon looked at Sunkyu and said, “This is Sunny, she’s part of the student council with me. Seohyun, Yoona, and IU are also part of the council.” She pointed at them respectively. “I’m sure you know Hyomin since she’s Jessica’s cousin.”

Jessica couldn’t help but notice Hyomin’s and Sunny’s hands in each other’s. Even for a brat, if she made her cousin happy, she didn’t mind at all.

“This is Sooyoung.” She touched the tall girl’s arm. Was she the girl who was at my restaurant not long ago when Sunkyu was harassing Taeyeon? “And lastly, this is my cousin Hyoyeon.”

The chefs then introduced themselves one by one with a smile on their faces, and they said they should all have fun together. They were interrupted by Beth as she announced that breakfast was served in the formal dining.

After breakfast which everyone enjoyed and thanked Beth and the staff for, they were assigned to their own bedrooms. The day had gone by swiftly as they rode horses and ATV quads around the area, enjoying their time together. Jessica mostly watched on the side, talking to Yuri and Tiffany, while the younger crowed had more fun. The blonde didn’t want to push herself onto Taeyeon, so she let her girlfriend entertain her guests as she did the same.

“So,” Tiffany started as she sat her coffee on the table as they were in the gazebo, watching the younger ones have their fun. “You’re really together, huh?”

Before sipping her coffee, Jessica looked at Taeyeon from a distance, smiling, she then answered, “Yeah. We are.”

“Isn’t that good?” Yuri joined in the conversation.

“Well, Jessica hasn’t been to work a lot, which is good since she used to live for work. I think this is a great addition,” Tiffany said.

The blonde rolled her eyes at her friends. “You guys make it seem like I didn’t have a life before meeting Taeyeon.”

“I don’t want to be the one to break it to you, but Hun, you didn’t,” Tiffany placed her hand on Jessica’s shoulder, acting as though she really cared. However, the oldest chef caught on to her best friend’s facade and shrugged her shoulder once, indicating she didn’t want Tiffany’s hand there.

“Shut up.”

“This is unfair! How can you get to call Jessica, ‘Hun,’ and still be mean to me? I mean, why am I on probation? Shouldn’t it be you tha----” Yuri stopped her words as Tiffany narrowed her eyes on her.

Jessica couldn’t contain her laughter. She couldn’t believe that Yuri decided to voice out her opinion when she was still on probation. Tiffany could be cranky, and they should know well to never try to talk sense to her when she had made her decision - this was one of those. “Way to dig your own grave.”

“I’m sorry,” Yuri mumbled and quietly just grabbed Tiffany’s hand, looking down.

The two other chefs couldn’t help but laugh heartily as they looked at Yuri. They couldn’t contain it and just had to burst. Tiffany’s girlfriend was just too adorable, like a kid, that they had to laugh. “I swear, Yuri, sometimes, I wonder why I love you, but a time like this, I couldn’t help but really admit I do.” Tiffany wiped the side of her eyes.

Yuri lifted her head, looked at Tiffany; her face was bright red. “Really?! You’re admitting you love me now? So I’m no longer in probation?”

Tiffany just shrugged. “We’ll see.”

Jessica then interrupted. “Guys, stop it. You’re too much for me,” was said with a smile. She then looked at her watch, and noticed that they should start heading for the beach so they can start their bonfire together. Beth and James offered to do those things for them, and Jessica agreed so they would have more time to play with the horses and the quads, but Taeyeon felt as though they needed to do it with no help. “Let’s go call them,” she said as she stood up from the chair and walked out of the gazebo and towards her favorite horse, Euko. She got on the horse and waited for Tiffany to get on her private horse, which had always been in Jessica’s care, Lightning Pink. Like Euko, Lightning Pink was also a derby horse. The blonde remembered how much she made fun of the horse’s name, but was shut up soon after Euko’s only defeat. Yuri then got on the other horse, Stripe.

When they were ready, they hit the horses’ back and maneuvered it towards the others.

Luckily, some of the materials for the bonfire were already gathered so they didn’t have to do much work but build it and lit it up. The group was starting to pile burnable things after another in pairs. Of course, the couples worked together while IU and Narsha complained, saying why were they grouped together - a sad group, they called it.

Taeyeon then grabbed the other end of a huge branch that Jessica was carrying, helping the blonde a little. “You shouldn’t try to work by yourself, you know.” Taeyeon said.

Jessica giggled. “I’m sorry. I got used to it somehow.”

Smiling, the younger girl then said, “You don’t have to,” and continued, with a lower tone, “you have me now.”

For a split second, Jessica bit her lips, trying her best to suppress her smile, but decided to not bother. Why should she hid the smile in front of Taeyeon, when the girl herself was being truthful to her? Beaming her brightest smile, Jessica then playfully said, “I’ll hold you accountable.”

Not saying a word, Taeyeon simply smiled back at her and nodded a few times. The blonde understood that there were no words needed at the moment; at least that was what she thought.

When they were done piling everything, they then started the fire and also had the grill started, grilling some meat and hot dogs; the younger crowd was the one who volunteered to do the work.

Jessica, Taeyeon, Tiffany, Yuri, and Narsha were seated on logs that surrounded the bonfire they had - of course Taeyeon and Jessica was seated on a separate one, as well as the other chefs with their former teacher on their own.

In their own little bubble, Jessica asked her girlfriend, “Are you having fun with your friends?”

“Yeah, thanks for inviting them by the way,” Taeyeon said.

Nodding, the blonde then stood up to grab chilled two bottles of apple juice from the cooler. She came back, handing Taeyeon one as she sat beside her. “Well as long as you’re having fun, then that’s perfect. I don’t want you bored that’s why I had you bond with your friends earlier.” She then gazed over to the side where Taeyeon’s friends were having fun, as though they were in their own little world - like every little thing was funny to them. “Are you sure you want to be stuck here with me?”

Taeyeon cocked her head to the side for a while, and then answered, “I’m really fine here.”

“Okay.” The conversation died again? Jessica couldn’t fathom what just happened, but she drew her own conclusion - like always - that because this was Taeyeon’s first relationship, she was unable to express herself just yet. The blonde understood this much; she was once like this, too.

“So,” the blonde started. “Your friends didn’t believe what Narsha and Tiffany were saying right?” The younger girl shook her head as a response so Jessica continued, “That’s good then. I hope you nor your friends would think badly of me.”

“I’m sure they don’t. They actually like you a lot.”

“Oh? Is that what they told you?”

“Yup. I mean, I was talking to them, hoping they would understand why I didn’t tell them about us and all.” Taeyeon sighed and continued. “I would’ve spent more time with you had they not dragged me, demanding an explanation earlier.”

Well that took Jessica by surprise. She thought that Taeyeon was simply with friends, having fun. She never realized that Taeyeon kept quiet about them, and finally talked to her friends. “So no one knew about us? It didn’t shock them or anything? I mean, what did they say?”

“Well, I told IU about it... somewhat... part of it...” Taeyeon then looked at the distance. “I told her before that I was kinda, you know, what I told you last night. But not officially and all. So I thought I needed to explain everything to them. And I figured, this was the best time? I mean, do I make sense right now?”

Jessica nodded with a smile on her face. “You’re cute,” she said without thinking. Taeyeon sighed as she looked at Jessica. The latter didn’t understand why she did it since she just complimented her; was that it? Was it because of what she said? Did she seem insincere? Like she said that to a lot of girls? She knew she needed to explain herself even if Taeyeon didn’t ask for it. She figured, with this, she wouldn’t be misunderstood. “I mean, I didn’t mean to sound like I was just saying that. I really mean that you’re cute.”

Shaking her head as she looked at the blonde, Taeyeon then said, “I know what you meant.” She then averted her eyes to anywhere but Jessica’s and then mumbled, “I'm just not used to this yet.” She sighed and looked back at Jessica’s way, meeting each other’s eyes. “You’re so ahead of me; I just need you to wait for me a little...”

Giggling, the chef then wrapped one arm around Taeyeon’s shoulder, pulling her close to her. However, that only lasted for a couple of seconds when Tiffany said what she was doing was against Narsha’s rule - though Jessica never really thought of them as something real.

Wait for her, huh? Jessica thought. It wasn’t something hard to do anyway. She was ready to take baby steps with Taeyeon, as long as it was with the girl, she was fine with it.
