You clearly won.
A Change Of Heart
You walked over to the police.
"What happened officer?" You asked.
"Oh, is this your house?" You were asked.
"Y-Yes.. It is." You answered confused.
"I'm afraid there's been a terrible fire throughout the entire basement." He informed you.
The basement. Your heart sunk. Everything you owned was down there.
You sighed and let the cops carry on.
"Let me guess, your room was down there?" Kyungsoo sweetly asked.
You but your quivering lip. "Y-Yeah.." You managed before breaking into tears.
Kyungsoo pulled you close and hugged you tightly.
You cried into him while Kai asked the cops how the fire started.
He came back with "they don't know" as an answer. "But he did say maybe a match."
You raised your head, "it was my father." You said, your eyes were burning.
Kyungsoo steadied you. "Want to visit your mom?" He asked.
You paused all movements for a moment and then nodded. Suddenly Kai pulled D.O away.
"I am sick of this competition." Kai said only loud enough for Kyungsoo to hear. D.O pussed him away
"Wait!" Kai yelled and pulled him closer.
"I mean you obviously won, so carry on and I'll find something else to do." He smiled and hugged you before walking away.
"To the hospital!" Kyungsoo said holding your hand.

"So she only has a week to live?" Kyungsoo asked knowing how sensitive you were.
"Who told you that?" The nurse asked.
"M-My father.." You spoke up.
"Nonsense." The nurse chuckled at you.
"What?" Kyungsoo said.
"She will be totally fine. Just minor amnesia." The nurse smiled and walked away.
"So she won't die... But she might not remember me?" You whispered.
Kyungsoo rubbed your back "maybe she will." He said taking you to her room.
