Lay x Lunarose [K-P0PG1rL]

Lay arrived in class early Monday morning, way too early for any student in their right mind. He sat down and just stared at the door and waited for his table mate. An hour and a half later (yes, he was THAT early), the bell was about to ring and his table mate still wasn't there.
'Why is she always so late?!' he groaned in his head, disappionted, 'Is she even coming today?'
As if on cue, Lunarose burst into the classroom, huffing and puffing. "I'm here! I'm here!" she huffed as she plopped into the seat next to Lay.
"Why are you always so late?" he mumbled.
"I enjoy sleep," she shrugged as she tossed her backpack onto the desk, "What do we have first period today? I keep forgetting..." she smiled sheepishly.
Lay watched as her eyes disappeared into cresents that he loved so much as he chuckled and said, "We have dance."
"Uwah~" she smiled, "Dance!"
Lay couldn't help but smile with her as their home fourm teacher dismissed them after taking role call. Lunarose and Lay quickly gathered her things and together, they both walked down the hallway to their dance class. When they entered, the dance teacher, Ms.Kang, clapped her hands together and called, "Okay everyone! Boys and girls on seperate ends of the room!"
Lunarose gave Lay a small smile to Lay as she quickly walked to the girls' side of the room so she wouldn't get scolded by the teacher. Lay walked sadly to the boys side and sat down beside XiuMin, who smiled brightly at the younger male, "Yo. Lay, what's up?"
"Nothing," he mumbled.
"Is it Seulrin?" XiuMin asked. He always refused to call Lunarose by her English name and would only refer to her in her Korean name.
"No..."
"Your such a bad liar."
Lay grunted in response as his eyes travelled to Lunarose on the other side of the room. Ms.Kang seemed to have called on her to demonstrate how to properly do one of the moves. He sighed as she moved gracefully and smoothly to the teacher's rhythm. He quickly looked away from her as Ms.Kang walked to the boys' side of the room and began talking, "Okay! Boys, listen up! The new unit is 'Couple dancing'!"
The boys burst out into a chorus of 'Ohhhh's as Ms.Kang laughed, "Now, now. Listen. In order to minimize the disorganization, we'll assign partners now by randomly picking names out of a hat. Once you pick a name, read it out and go find your partner."
'Couple dancing?' Lay squealed in a totally manly way in his head, 'This is finally my chance to get closer was Lunarose. Please, please, please, let luck be on me side. Let me pick Lunarose's name.'
Ms.Kang began calling out the names of the boys to go pick out a name from the hat. HyukJae. Sehun. Donghae. Jungsu. Yunho. Chanyeol. Lunarose's name still wasn't chosen after all but Lay and XiuMin chose names.
'I have a chance!' Lay cheered his in head as his name was called. He walked up to the hat and took a deep breath and squeezed his eyes shut before pulling out a name. He unfolded the paper and peeked at it through one eye. "T-Taeyeon?"
"Lay and TaeYeon," Ms.Kang nodded noting down on a sheet of paper, "That leaves XiuMin and Lunarose."
"Songsaengnim!" XiuMin whined, walking up to Ms.Kang, "I can't work with Seulrin. We would be awkward together. Can't I switich with Lay?"
Ms.Kang thought about it for a little, but she always had a soft spot for XiuMin and when he puffed out his cheeks, he sealed the deal. "Are you okay with that Lay?"
Lay nodded quickly as Ms.Kang changed her notes and sent the two boys to find their partners. Lay poked the back of Lunarose's head and when she turned around with her cheeks puffed out, he couldn't help but laugh.
"Yah. What's so funny?" she pouted.
"You."
"You're so mean."
"Everybody listen up!" Ms.Kang called, "Now that you're in groups you get to hear which song we're going to be using!"
"Which?" the class chimed.
"Drum roll please!" she cheered and everyone started pounding the floor. "The song is...'If You Love Me' by NS YoonJi!"
"Woooooo~!" the class cheered high-fiving each other.
*MWO?!* Lunarose screamed in her head, *T-that intimate s-song w-with L-L-Lay?!*
"-rose? Lunarose? Gwenchanah?" Lay called waving his hand infront of her face, snapping her out of her thoughts.
"Hmm?" she blushed pulling away from his hand.
"I asked if you wanted to start practicing. Ms.Kang said that presentations are two weeks from now."
"A-ah, really?" she studdered giving a sheepish smile, "I must've zoned out..."
"C'mon," Lay laughed, grabbing her hand and pulling her to an open space.
Lunarose stared down at her hand in shock. As soon as Lay grabbed onto it, it felt as if she was hit with a bolt of lightning - but in a good way. In one word, it was electrifying. Even after Lay let go of her hand the sensation was still there.
"Where should we start?" Lay asked finding the music on his iPod.
"Beginning?" she suggested.
He laughed his amazing musical laugh that she loved...wait. Did she just say that she loved his laugh? Yang Seulrin get a hold of yourself!! She snapped out of her inner-rant as the music starting playing. ~I'm asking girl cuz I really need to know. Is it for real and how deep does it go? Do you love me cuz I love you. Just know that I'm the one that you can run to. Hear it girl~
Lunarose smiled to herself as Lay mouthed the words along with the music. Everything was going well until the dance for the chorus. As soon as Lay touched she waist another bolt of electicity shot through her and she lost her footing and stumbled, falling backwards into Lay's chest. He caught her, of course, and steadied her before asking if she was ok. She nodded and studdered, "Yeah~ I just slipped, that's all. I'm fine. I'm fine~!" He smiled and was about to say something when Ms.Kang called him over. He gave her a small smile before heading over to the teacher. As soon as he was gone, Lunarose plopped down to the floor and covered her racing heart with her hand and took a couple deep breaths.
'Why is my heart like this? Aishhhh!' she screamed in her head as the bell rang.

Over the two weeks Lunarose and Lay practiced everyday after school, much to Lay's delight. Lunarose, on the other hand, was dreading the day that they had to dance in front of the class. Everytime Lay was near, even while sitting beside each other in class, her heart would start racing and she wasn't able to look at him in the eye. Those glorious, warm, brown eyes...'WAIT LUNAROSE! Focus!' she yelled in her head, 'Today's the day you present. Focus!'
"Otteoke?" she whined as she walked into the dance room.
"What's the matter Seulrin?" Xiumin asked, popping up beside her.
"I'm not ready."
"Woah. You not ready for a dance presentation? Waeyo?"
"I'm so awkward with Lay. Everytime we dance my heart starts beating really fast and I can't focus on the dance. It would've been better if we were partnered up together Xiuminnie."
Xiumin snickered before saying, "You're so dense."
"What?" she pouted.
"You like Lay."
"W-WHAT?" she studdered, "T-That's not possible."
"Whatever," he sighed, walking off.
'C-Could that be possible?' she asked herself, 'Could I like him?'
She looked into class and her eyes landed on Lay talking and laughing with another girl. She felt a pang of jealousy hit her heart and then it finally sunk in. She likes Lay. A lot. Why hadn't she seen it sooner?
"Class!" Ms.Kang called bringing her back to the time at hand, "We're going to be starting with the presentations now! I chose randomly and the first pair is Lay and Lunarose!"
Lay smiled across the room and Lunarose as they got up and went to the front of the room. The performance that they put on was the best they had done in their two weeks of practicing and halfway through, both of them were smiling brightly. During the last two lines of the song, instead of ending in the idol's final position, Lunarose spun to face Lay and sang the last two lines with the song. ~I want your love. I need you love~ The final beat of the song, Lunarose stood up on her tippy-toes and kissed Lay softly on the lips. Lay gasped in shock but quickly kissed back as the class erupted in cheers and clapping.
"Finally~!" Xiumin cheered standing up and clapping and hollering like an idiot. Lunarose and Lay pulled apart and Lay smiled brightly as she covered her blushing face. "Cuteeee~!" Xiumin cheered again.
"Xiumin!" Ms.Kang yelled, trying to regain the attention of the class, "You're going next! Let's she how 'cuteeeee~' you and your partner are."
"Neh~!" Xiumin and Taeyeon called as they walked up to the front of the class. As they passed Lay and Lunarose, Xiumin winked at the two of them as Lunarose slipped her hand into Lay's and they sat down together.
