Hyunmi's POV

"I Dream High nan kkumeul kkujyo Himdeul ttaemyeon nan nuneul gamgo~"

"What are you singing?" I heard Jonghyun say through the speaker. We were already in the studio and our director wanted us to sing individuals parts first. Jonghyun was in the recording room while I was outside watching him sing through the glass window.

"Ahh, n-nothing" I said realizing my finger was pressing onto the speaker button. I let go and saw Jonghyun laugh but say something.

"Wait repeat that. I took you off speaker" I said into the microphone.

"I said you have a beautiful singing voice" He said into the microphone. I blushed from the comment but then realization hit me.

Hyunmi! You have a boyfriend! Don't fall for Jonghyun! Hear me? Apparently my conscience was scolding me in my mind.

"Aigoo .. I know I know I love Bae don't worry conscience" I said to myself looking up at my forehead.

"Ah, still thinking about that Bae I see" Jonghyun said folding his arms and staring at me through the window .. I let go of the speaker button and scolded myself while facing the wall.

"Dont get so distracted Hyunmi!" I said and hit my head. 

"Hyunmi-ah! Hurry up and get into the recording booth we have to do this quick!" My director told me.

 "I'm sorry sir! I'm going" I said and bowed. I ran quickly to the door to enter the room. As I pulled it open Jonghyun was nearly a foot away from me .. my heart made a sudden jump but I ignored  it and tried to walk right past him .. I stopped once I heard him say that sentence again ..

"I was telling you the truth before .. you have a beautiful singing voice" He said and turned his head towards me .. I looked at him through the corner of my eye but kept my head forward .. I was about to say thank you but he just walked away and stood next to the director ..

Ignoring that moment I walked inside and stood right in front of the microphone ..

"Ready?" The director said through the speaker. I nodded my head and waited for the instrumental music that was about to play .. we weren't officially singing the main songs we were all going to duet to live, we had to sing a song of our choice to see if we were a perfect duet match ..

Jonghyun's POV

Throughout the whole time Hyunmi was singing I couldn't keep my eyes off from her perfectly pink soft lips that sang in sync with the music .. that voice was amazing .. she's the perfect person to duet with ... everytime she raised her voice louder it sent shivers down my spine .. that voice .. is purely angelic ..

"Yes? No? .. Jonghyun?" I heard the director say looking up to me from his seat .. I realized that I was gazing upon Hyunmi so much that I wasn't really paying attention to whatever the director was saying ..

"Aish Jonghyun .. the things I say are very important you know! This is a big deal to pick Hyunmi as---"

The voice of the director started to fade once I heard the door squeak open .. I looked to the side of me and saw Hyunmi tip toeing out and heading towards the exit door .. I didn't have to think about my actions as my mind decided for my feet to walk in her direction .. I was about to tap her on her shoulder from behind but I heard the directors voice shout at me again ..

"Jonghyun! You listened that time right? Should I sign it?" 

What was he talking about? ... Crap, sign what? .. Well earlier he was talking about Hyunmi dueting with us .. Yeah, I think he's just asking for permission for her to duet with us.

"Yeah, yeah, sure, of course you can sign it" I quickly said to the director as I bowed and left the recording studio. Without hearing a response from him I stepped out into the hallway and looked left and right .. I didn't see Hyunmi anywhere ... hmm, she walks pretty fast.

I chose to turn right and continued walking down the hallway. I turned left and saw Hyunmi excitingly talk to .. a guy? .. A guy that I've never recognized before .. I know all the famous korean idols in the music companies and I'm positive that I've never seen that guy in a music company before ..

I walked up to them and saw Hyunmi's fast reaction when she saw me. She covered and her eyes widened while I was just glaring at the guy who was smiling at me .. 

"Who are you?" I said carelessly and squinted my eyes at him. He cleared his throat and spoke.

"I'm Bae, Hyunmi's boyfriend, nice to meet you" He said and held out his hand for me to shake .. I ignored it and turned my body towards Hyunmi who was dreamingly looking into the eyes of that guy ..

"I can't believe you came to see me! This is so unexpected!" Hyunmi said probably forgetting I was standing right next to her.

"I couldn't help but to visit my girlfriend" Bae said and walked up to her and hugged her ... slight jealously I'm feeling .. but I'm good . No need to freak out or anything ..

"Alright, no need for the sympathetic hugging, you've guys seen enough of each other I'm sure of" I said and separated the two apart from their hugging and pushed them aside with my arms.

Hyunmi scoffed at me. "I haven't seen him in a month! I deserve a hug from my boy--"

"Boyfriend I know everyone knows he's your boyfriend. Even in this whole building!" I said and rolled my eyes.

"What's the matter with you? And no they don't" Hyunmi said.

"Oh really? .. HEY EVERYBODY LOOKS IT'S PARK HYUNMI'S BOYFRIEND BAE STANDING IN THIS HALLWAY HUG---"

"Hey shut up!!" I heard Hyunmi say as she kicked my leg.

"AHHH, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!?" I said bending down holding onto my leg.

"For you to keep quiet! I'll be leaving with Bae now" She coldly replied as she hooked arms with Bae and they both left me injured in the hallway .. aigo .. falling in love does really hurt ..

Once I stood back up I saw Hyunmi stop walking and turn around .. it was quiet for a moment but then she spoke.

"Still think I'm not weird enough to creep you out?" She raised and eyebrow and smiled. 

"Creep me out you think--"

She cut me off from speaking once she turned her back to me and continued her walk with Bae .. ugh, this girl .. can really piss me off sometimes ..
