Gone
The LetterA/N:
Hey everyone, SOOOO sorry for the late update...
Anyway. While you read this chapter, I thought this song was fitting.
Yes, I'm into the whole Indie Rock thing.
And British singers.
No. Not One Direction.

It was late.
But Jae couldn't sleep.
Because he was hiding something.
He sighed, reaching under the bookshelf.
Quietly, as to not wake Kai up, he pulled out a box.
Wooden and small, he the lock delicately, unable to bring himself to open it.
This was for Kai.
She had left it... for Kai.
Why couldn't she have left it for him?
What was so special about Kai?
"He left you, SooJin!" He whispered, feeling angry.
Anger.
Something that Jae couldn't help but feel since her death.
He was angry because she loved Kai.
He was angry because he wasn't good enough for her.
And he was angry for causing Sia to be upset with him.
He was angry at everything;
But he was mostly angry at himself.
Taking a deep breath, he wrote a note to Kai.
Kai.
This is something Soo Jin left for you.
I am leaving.
Do not look for me.
Tell Sia that I am thankful to her.
And that I am sorry.
Tell Umma I love her.
And that she was the mother I've never had.
I will come back when I can figure this all out.
Please take care of them,
-Jae
Placing the paper on top of the box, he slid it to rest beside Kai's sleeping figure, standing. Grabbing his satchel and a jacket, he hesitated once, looking at the framed photo on his night stand.
Then, he took it.
Even if he was leaving, there was no way he could forget Sia.
Taking the money he had earned, he walked out of the small house, stopping at the end of the path to look back;
Then he turned, walking away from them.
From the memories.
From his anger.
