Snowflake
Brightness is Dark (Lunew Drabbles)Their love was like a snowflake. Cold, yet gentle. Empty, yet precious.
Gripping onto Luna’s thick brown hair, Jinki yanked her head back and threw her against the bathroom mirror. Crack. Whether it was from the mirror or from Luna, he did not know, and he did not care.
His large hand swung across the room, to strike her left cheek, tinting it cherry red. Quickly, he pressed his lips against the flesh, and kissed it vigorously, as if to soothe the pain.
But it did not hurt to start with. The agony of loving each other, the pain in their hearts, had numbed their physical being.
“I’m sorry,” He whispered, intertwining his fingers with hers, “I love you.”
Their love was like a snowflake. Soft, yet painful. Pure, yet tainted.
