Denial
Brightness is Dark (Lunew Drabbles)“You’re just in the denial phase.” Luna explained to Jinki.
“No I’m not, I really love you!” He protested.
She sighed, “Lies can fool nobody but yourself.”
Leaving those words hanging in the air, like the way Jinki’s mouth was hanging open, Luna slipped her hand out of his tight grip and left the café.
Breathing in the scent of coffee and sweets, Jinki closed his worn out eyes, rubbing his temples furiously. Maybe, those feelings are real, he began to ponder, and maybe Luna’s right.
Ever since meeting Kibum, Jinki knew that the younger boy had already entangled their hearts together, tying all loose ends in a knot. But he had denied this fact, being too caught up with the fear of being gay.
Unexpectedly, a familiar voice reached his ears, “Maybe it’s time to toughen up and get our acts together.” Swiftly twirling his head to the side, he was met with a pair of large foxy eyes. And Jinki felt his heart explode.
“K-K-Kibum?”
