What happens if Luna rejects me? Jinki thought to himself. His heart hammered against his ribcage as a response. The blood pumped up to his face, causing the veins on his temples to throb to the rhythm of his beating heart; his restless heart.  

“I will think about it.” She had said, when he had conveyed his love towards her at the local library this morning.

Since then, his heart has been running a marathon.

Unexpectedly, warmth enveloped his upper body, and a sweet fruity smell tickled his nostrils. Rotating his head to the side, the sight before his eyes soothed his restless heart.

It was Luna, and she was smiling.
