Doojoon's POV)

She gave him a big smile as she turned towards him but the light in her eyes turned back into the cold glimmer from before as she noticed me standing there. I suppressed the shiver that wanted to run through me and quickly went upstairs mumbling something about lyrics or something. I closed the door to the bedroom behind me and leaned against it, taking a deep breath. She won't actually try to kill me right? I just won't go to sleep. I looked around the room not really seeing it, just at a loss as to what I should do. My eyes finally rested on my iPod, still laying on the bed where I had left it. Music. Maybe I won't have to talk to her if she thinks I am already asleep. I picked up my iPod and the music, letting it calm me, and lay down on my bed, closing my eyes.
 

It was pitch black and I stared into the darkness listening to the strange melody that surrounded me. It seemed like I had been there for a long time. Without warning, the empty world was filled with a bright light and I shielded my eyes to protect them. The song was still there but it was very quiet now. Suddenly my ears rang as the melody reverberated around the empty space increasing in volume. It hurt and I clutched my ears hoping the pain would stop. My fingers made contact with something small and smooth embedded in the opening to my ears. I ripped it out frantically and there was complete silence. Looking at the object I had just pulled out of my ear, I realized that it had grown a tail. It wrapped around my wrist and I clawed at it frantically trying to get it off.  Someone pushed me roughly and suddenly I was falling.

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!”

THUMP.

I found myself on the floor beside my bed.

Apologies for how long this took! I have been incredibly crazy busy! I graduate college with my degree in a week and I have been working like crazy to get everything done. This is actually half of what I planned to be chapter 14 but it ended up being a lot longer than I thought and I figured that maybe you would like an update. haha. Once again sorry for the long wait. I will try to work on the story more but for now here is Chapter 14!
