Slowly Gikwang opened his eyes, just to find Yoseob, who was lying next to him and smiling beautifully at him.

"Good morning, yeobo~" he greeted him sweetly with that angelic smile on his face. Gikwang smiled back at him. "Good morning, my cutie~" he greeted back. "How are you today?" Yoseob asked still smiling. "Great, because you are with me~" Gikwang smiled his cute eye-smile. Yoseob blushed  a bit and chuckled. "Are you hungry? What do you want for breakfast, Yoseobie? I'll make you something." Gikwang asked his boyfriend. Yoseob laid an arm around Gikwang and pulled him closer until their faces were so close that they could feel the others breath on their skin. "I think you know exactly what I want~" he grinned playfully. Gikwang chuckled "That's so typical of you!"

Yoseob leant in and placed his lips on Gikwangs plump ones. Gikwang closed his eyes and leant closer to deepen the kiss. The two boys just lay there for a while, cuddling and kissing each other sweetly.

"I love you, Yoseob." Gikwang said as they broke the kiss. Yoseob smiled happy at him.

"I love you too, Gikwangie~"

Suddenly, Gikwangs vision became blurry and everything went black. He opened his eyes again, just to realize the spot next to him was empty. And again he had dreamed, dreamed that Yoseob would smile at him and say "Good morning" like he always did. Yoseob would never stand up before he got his good morning kiss.

Weeks had passed since Yoseobs dead and Gikwang had this dream very often, but he would always wake up alone. He would never hear Yoseobs cute voice again, saying his sweet "Good morning" or that he loved him.

Gikwang felt tears running down his face and they dropped down on the mattress. He missed him. He missed him so much. It hurted. It hurted to wake up alone everyday, to look through his empty and silent appartment that he once shared with Yoseob. Instead of a loud annoying Yoseob who was laughing and joking around, there was dead silence.

Gikwang lay there for hours without moving, letting the tears fall again. He closed his eyes and didn't want to stand up, he wanted to sleep and never wake up again, so he could see Yoseob again.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Gikwang opened his eyes and sat up immediately. He looked at the clock. “7:00 am? On a saturday? Who could this be?” he thought. The doorbell rang again, but this time it didn’t stop ringing. Gikwang promptly sprang off his bed and hurried to the door, while quickly wiping the tears from his face. “I’m coming, I’m coming! Stop ringing!” he shouted. He opened the door and was suddenly attacked by Doojoon who hugged him a little bit too tight.

“Kwangie!! You’re alive! I’m so glad~!” he squealed. “Ugh, but not for much longer, if you continue squeezing me so hard” Gikwang managed to say in Doojoons grip, but he couldn’t help but smile about his friends silliness. Doojoon laughed and let go. “Sorry~!”

“What brings you here that early?” Gikwang asked him wondering what he wanted.

“Oh, I heard that you make great breakfast, so I decided to invite myself, you don’t mind do you?” Doojoon said as a matter of course, while smiling widely. “Wait, wait! You want me to make you breakfast?” Gikwang asked him confused. Doojoon nodded. “Wae?” Gikwang asked even more confused and tilted his head to the side. Doojoon laughed. “Because it’s tasty? Hehe, no seriously. I don’t have a particular reason. I just wanted to eat breakfast with you” he smiled gently.

“Oh… uhm… O-okay… uhm… b-but I have nothing here. I didn’t buy that much anymore since-“ “Okay, let us buy something then!” he interuppted Gikwang to prevent the mention of Yoseobs dead. “What? Now? Why can’t we just go and eat something in a café or something?” Gikwang asked and raised an eyebrow.

“Oh, please, Kwangie! I wanted to eat your breakfast so badly! Pretty please?” Doojoon pleaded making puppy eyes and doing his fail aegyo. “Haha, okay, okay! Just wait a minute. I’ll go make me ready and change clothes. I wonder why you insist so much on it, it isn’t that good at all…” Gikwang chuckled lightly, what became pretty rare since Yoseobs dead, and went to his bedroom.

Actually, Gikwang didn’t smile once since Yoseobs dead. He immured himself in is bedroom the past weeks and grieved for Yoseob. He was actually glad that Doojoon, whom he didn’t have seen since the funeral, came to visit him and made him smile again with his silliness.

Gikwang came back to Doojoon and they went to the next supermarket. “Oh, Gikwang! Let’s invite Dongwoon too! The more the merrier! It will be fun!” Doojoon said cheerful, throwing his hands in the air. Gikwang just nodded and smiled lightly. They went in the supermarket and Gikwang looked for some groceries, while Doojoon was texting Dongwoon.

“He says he will come over and that he’s looking forward to it~”, Doojoon informed Gikwang and grinned. “I told you, don’t expect too much or you will be disappointed.” Gikwang said while paying. “Nonsense!” Doojoon said positive.

They went back to Gikwangs home and met Dongwoon in front of the apartment, who was already waiting for them. He looked a little bit tired. “Good morning hyungs~” he greeted them. “Good morning, Woonie~!” Doojoon greeted back, smiling widely and Gikwang also said “Good morning” to him. “Thanks for the invitation.” Dongwoon said and smiled at them. “No problem, you’re welcome! I thought it was about time to meet up again, it’s been a while.” Doojoon said and smiled. “Yeah…” Dongwoon said and his and Gikwangs features saddened as they thought of the reason for that.

“Anyway, let’s go inside already!” Doojoon said and shoved them both into Gikwangs house. Gikwang made them breakfast and indeed it was delicious. Doojoon was amazed and complimented him nonstop. Dongwoon also said very often how tasty it was. Gikwang blushed and thanked them for the compliments. They ate the breakfast and talked about stuff. Doojoon talked the most and told them a lot of stories. Even if Gikwang and Dongwoon didn’t talk much the whole time, particulary Gikwang, they both were glad that Doojoon was there for them, trying his hardest to cheer them up. They were sure that Doojoon just acted so excessive cheerful to bring back some of Yoseobs attitude, who usually was the one who was so cheerful in their group.

After the breakfast Gikwang did the dishes. Doojoon also came after a while and helped him.

“Doojoon?” Gikwang broke the silence after a while. “Yeah?” Doojoon asked. “Thank you…” Doojoon raised an eyebrow. “For what?” he asked. “For being there for me… And for Dongwoon. He surely have a hard time too, Yoseob was his best friend after all.” Gikwang said, staring at the dishes below him. “Of course I am. I love you like a brother. Of course I care for you. I was so worried the past weeks, because I didn’t see any signs of life from you, because you locked yourself up in your room.” “Sorry… I didn’t want to make you worry, but… but…” Gikwang felt tears coming up again. “Shhh… I know. You don’t have to apologize. I know how hard it is for you. I’m just glad that you let me finally comfort you. Even if it’s just a little, I’m glad when I at least can cheer you up a bit.” Doojoon said while pulling Gikwang into a hug and caressing his head. Gikwang thankfully buried his head in Doojoons chest, hugging him back and nodded lightly. “Thank you, Doojoon.”

After a while they let go, finished the dishes and came back to Dongwoon, who was staring absently at pictures of Yoseob, that were hanging on the wall.

“Hey guys, let’s play soccer!” Doojoon said suddenly. Gikwang and Dongwoon both looked at him surprised. “We haven’t played soccer for what seems like forever! Come on, let’s go~! It will be fun!” he said excited and jumped to the door. “Hurry up!” he called as he opened the door. Gikwang and Dongwoon looked at each other and couldn’t help but smile. They stood up and followed Doojoon.

Gikwang was looking over the soccer field. “It’s been a long time…” It was the same place he always came with Doojoon to play soccer. And it was the place where he met him the first time.

~Flashback~

“Yah, Gikwang! Over here!” Doojoon shouted while he outdistanced a few opponents. Gikwang ran in the same direction and kicked the ball towards Doojoon. Doojoon catched it and kicked it towards the goal immediately and scored. “YESSSS!!” Doojoon shouted running around, while cheering. Gikwang laughed and gave him a high five as he came up to him. “Good job, Doojoonie~!”

“YAH, Woonie! That’s mine! Go get your own!” Yoseob shouted at Dongwoon, who just bit a piece of his sandwich off. The two of them where sitting on a little increase next to the soccer field. Dongwoon pouted at Yoseob. “Meanie!” Yoseob ignored him and stared at the soccer field.

“So… who is your crush?” Yoseob blushed. “He isn’t my crush! He just looked friendly and I want to be friends with him.” Yoseob said. “Yeah, whatever. So who is it then?” Dongwoon asked again. “Over there. The number 10, the short boy with the messy brown hair.” Dongwoon searched for him. “Ah, there! He looks cute” he smiled as he spotted Gikwang and winked at Yoseob. “YAH, stop that! I don’t have a crush on him, I told you already!”

Gikwangs and Doojoons team made a goal and Gikwang laughed while high fiving with Doojoon. “Haahh… Isn’t his smile beautiful?” Yoseob said absently. “Not a crush, huh?” Dongwoon said amused, while grinning at his friend. Yoseob blushed madly. “Okay, okay you win! I do have a crush on him, happy now?” he surrendered and pouted.

Suddenly a ball hitted Yoseobs face. “OUCH!” he whined and he quickly laid his hands on his face.

“Oh, !” he heard a voice from a distance. “Oh my god! I’m sorry! I’m so sorry!” the same voice appologized as it came closer. Yoseob felt how someone kneeled beside him and laid a hand on his shoulder. “Are you okay?” Yoseob slowly looked up, with a slightly pained expression. He widened his eyes when the person in front of him turned out to be him.

Gikwang looked at him with a very worried expression. “Does it hurt? I’m so sorry!” he spoke again. He had a sweet, gentle voice, Yoseob found. Yoseob was totally out of it until Dongwoon poked him, to bring him back to reality.

“What? O-Oh, no! No problem! It happens. It doesn’t hurt that much anymore.” Yoseob stuttered. “Are you sure?” Gikwang said still worried. “Yes, don’t worry”, Yoseob answered and smiled at him. “Phew… thank goodness!” Gikwang said, smiling his gorgeous eye-smile. “So handsome…” Yoseob thought. “I want to make up for this! I treat you some food! What do you want?” Gikwang asked, then his sight fell on the sandwichs that lay between Yoseob and Dongwoon. “Oh… I see you already have something to eat.” he said lowering his head in disappointment. “There is something that you can do~” Yoseob said with a smile. “Really?” he looked up and beamed at him. “Omo, how cute!” Yoseob thought. “Let’s be friends!” Yoseob grinned. “Mwo?” Gikwang asked surprised. “Or do you not want to?” Yoseob asked his featrures saddened lightly. “What? No, I would love to!” Gikwang smiled widley.

“I’m Lee Gikwang and you are?” “Yang Yoseob and this is my friend Dongwoon. Nice to meet you!” he said sweetly. “Nice to meet you two too!” Gikwang said with a smile.

“Yah, Gikwang! What takes you so long?” Doojoon yelled. “Oh, I almost forgot!” Gikwang laughed lightly. “Comming!” he yelled to Doojoon. “Hey, me and the guys are going to hang out in the city after the match, do you two want to join? It will be fun!” Gikwang asked the two boys. “Sure, sounds cool!” Yoseob answered and Dongwoon nodded. “Cool, See you later then”, Gikwang beamed at them took the ball that was laying beside them and hurried to Doojoon, who looked annoyed.

“Nice guy. I wish you luck with him~” Dongwoon chuckled. “Shut up, Woonie!” Yoseob said while blushing again, but couldn’t hold back a smile.

~Flashback End~

They became close friends after that. The clique composed of Gikwang, Yoseob, Doojoon and Dongwoon hanged out thogether very often. It was really nice.

Gikwang, Doojoon and Dongwoon played soccer for hours. They had fun, even though Gikwang wasn’t in the mood. He was very thankful for the effort Doojoon gave to cheer him up and it at least worked a little. He found his smile again even if it was still rare.

“Thank you for the nice day, Doojoon.” Gikwang said after their soccer session. “Everytime, Kwangie.” Doojoon said. He said his goodbyes to the two and went to the place he went everyday, Yoseobs grave.

“Hi Yoseobie… I’m late today, am I?” Gikwang said as he cowered in front of the gravestone and patted it. He looked at the picture that was smiling at him. “Doojoon visited me today. He tried his best to cheer me up and I spent the day with him and Dongwoon, playing soccer togheter. Doojoon is really nice to me. I’m thankful for that, but I can’t help but still missing you, Yoseob. Isn’t that mean torwards Doodoo?” he smiled bitterly. “Dongwoon is missing you a lot too, I can tell for sure, but I think the encouragements from Doojoon have more effect on him. I’m glad that at least Dongwoons condition improved. I’m sure you want me to do the same, but I just can’t. I miss you. I miss you more than anything! I can’t help but cry everyday, because you’re not here anymore.” Tears were forming again in Gikwangs eyes and he stood up again. “I try to live for you, but I can’t promise you that I ever will be happy again, without you. That’s just…. impossible for me! I’m sorry…” Gikwang got all these feelings off his chest. He stayed a while longer just staring at the grave in silence. Before he went back home, he ran his hand one last time over the gravestone. “See you tomorrow… I love you… forever.” he said softly and finally went back to his empty home.
