“I know you just wanted a friend. But what’s wrong with being in love? Give me a try. Even if just for tonight. Please. Let me be your lover tonight, I’ll be your friend again tomorrow.” He didn’t kiss me again. He looked into my eyes waiting for a response. I kissed him and closed my eyes.
