~Kai’s P.O.V~

 

 

Omo! I blurted it out!! eottokhae? Eotteokhae?? It must be awkward now! I hope she doesn’t take it the right way! I mean, I hope she take the love as the best friend way, not as the lover way.

 

 

            “y-yah! Can’t your best friend say ‘saranghae’ to you?” I tried to ask her calmly.

            She dozed off a moment, “a-ah! Ne! o-of course you can!”

 

Okay, it’s awkward now … well, it’s an awkward position too. we’re walking hand in hand! Aigoo … how can I fix this situation? then, I saw an ice cream parlor near the park. Aha! Just flow along the drama ….. heeheh … so, I led her to the ice cream parlor.

 

“what flavour would you like?” I asked her.

She looked at me with confusion in her eyes, “yah! I didn’t really mean you need to treat me ice cream before! I was just saving you from those …”

“I owe you …” I said with a smile.

“for what?”

“you’ve saved my life ..” I stucks out my tongue.

She giggled, “okay …. I would like, vanilla chips!” she cheered.

“oh yeah. I even forgot your favorite ice cream. Mianhae …. By the way … you should sit at that bench, I’ll deliver your ice cream later ..” I winked.

She squealed then she chuckled, “arasseo, oppa …”

As she leaves, I told the ice cream man our orders, “one vanilla chips and one chocolate, please …” I said. He smiled as he nodded.

“by the way, child …”

“ne, ahjussi?” I asked.

“your girlfriend there is so cute. You two fits each other ….. you’re lucky indeed …” he said.

I blushed, “I .. actually … kamsahamnida …”.

The man chuckled, “I remember the time when I was at your age, skipping school, dating girls … make sure you don’t break her heart, arasseo? girls are sensitive. A true man must treat girls right.” He added while handed me the ice creams.

I smiled, “kamsahamnida, ahjussi …”

 

 

~End of Kai’s P.O.V~

 

 

 

“ooh~! Gomawo, oppa~!” I cheered as he handed me the ice cream.

 He smiled as he sat beside me, “so, how are things with Sehun?”

“ne?” I faced him.

“I mean, you two get along better, I see …” Kai said as he his ice cream.

“uhm .. ne, he’s my best friend now ….” I said.

“ahh … that’s good then ….” Kai smiled.

“waeyo …?” I asked.

 

 

 

He didn’t answer me. Well .. I don’t care with his answer anyway. I’m enjoying my ice cream now! It tastes sooo good! I think it’s been a long time since I had ice cream. The last time I had ice cream was when Kai bought me an ice cream 3 months ago while our parents go out on a lunch together.

 

 

 

“because I thought you’re going out with him ….” He stated suddenly.

My eyes grew bigger, “pff … no way. I don’t like him. I like him as my best friend, nothing more … I have someone else i love …”

Kai then sighed in relieve, “that’s a relieve…”

Then, I smirk as I lean closer to him, his eyes grew bigger, “are you jealous??”.

He shook his head as he tried to back away, “ani!! No way I’m jealous of him … whoaaa!” he leaned too back he’s gonna fall.

“watch out!” I pulled him too hard as he crashed onto me and we accidently hugging each other…..

 

 

 

We stayed in this position for a while. Omo! I can’t move! Eotteokhae? It’s really awkward now …. I don’t know what to do ….. so I slowly break our embrace out…. I can see his face as red as a tomato, also mine ….

 

“mianhae, oppa …” I look down to the ground ….

He just nodded … “it’s getting late. I’ll take you home …” he said.

I nodded ……

After that incident, we still act normal. We still hang out together. And we’re hanging out with Sehun and Suzy too. the days we spent together seems … so right! I really enjoyed my life that days …. But one day, Kai fidget a bit which makes me confused …

 

 

         “oppa … gwaenchanhayo?” I asked.

He rubbed his nape, “I .. had to go somewhere ….. I’ll catch up with you guys later, arasseo?”

We nodded, “be quick!!” Suzy shouted.

Kai lift up his thumb while running outside.

 

 

 

 

We started to eat as we chat a little. I enjoyed chatting with them. They’re really some good best friends. I felt a little strange with the milk I got though, it tastes strange. Oh well ….We chatted long enough, for 10 minutes … what taking him so long?

 

 

 

“ugh … I feel very dizzy …” I said.

“gwaenchanha?” Suzy asked.

I nodded. “anyways, I’ll look for Kai … I'm so curios of where he is right now ....” I said as I stood up.

“I’ll help you too! we’ll split up! I’ll search inside the school and you search outside the building, arasseo?” Suzy said.

I nodded as we started to part away. But someone grabbed my arm, “I’ll come with you ..” Sehun said. I smiled as I nodded.

We search for him, but he’s nowhere to be seen …

“but … Kai oppa…! Listen to me…!! I want to tell you something!” someone shouted. I looked at the voice’s direction. It’s .. HEEJUNG! Arrghh! I’m going to kill her for this ….

“how long have you following me?! i’m wasting so much time you know!! Rina and the others are probably waiting for me..!!” Kai yelled at her. Okay, time to show up!

I stomped towards them, “Kai op- …..” words won’t come out from my lips anymore. My eyes grew bigger, and I think Sehun’s also…..
