“Seohyun! Earth to Seohyun!”

Seohyun blinked a few times. She was deep in thought about Kai.

“That kid met Minho? He’s your cousin? Where is he now?” Yuri asked.

“I sent him to a hotel.”

“Yoona has a chance this time. Too bad for you though, I thought you were cheating on Minho. I seriously thought you’re better off with that cousin of yours.” Yuri teased.

“Unnie… If you know your date of death, what would you do?”

“What’s with the serious question? Well, it will be cool to know your own future, but we might live less happily.”

“If we know the date, there’s no use to know the reason. It’s a really sad situation. But then again, everyone knows we’ll die one day. So the important thing is the journey of life.” Yuri adviced

Seohyun nodded.

“Just like exams. When I think again, the results are not important; it’s the effort we did that’s more important. If I know the date of my death, I would try living my life to fullest. Live without regrets.  I’ll live my life happily because we all know we’ll die someday, right?”

Seohyun stared right at Yuri.

“Is there any more questions? Let Doctor Yuri give you free advice.”

“You’re right. We have to live life to the fullest” Seohyun stood up and hugged Yuri. “Gomawo, unnie.”

“Yah! My hugs aren’t free okay?”

Kai was playing in the middle of the road.

Oblivious to his parents calling him. Oblivious to the world.

Oblivious to a car that was driving straight at him.

“Kai!”

Kai turned around and saw his mom pushing him off the road.

The last thing he saw in his mind was his mom smiling at him.

He blinked a few times.

Seohyun was staring at him worriedly.

“Why are you crying?”

Kai wiped his tears. “Just a bad dream.”

“Here, I’ve bought pizza for you. You’ve been unconscious for two days…”

Kai opened the pizza box and took a slice.

“Kai, may I see your wallet?

Kai handed Seohyun his wallet.

Seohyun opened it and stared at the picture.

She really looks like me…

“Kai, who’s face did you shaded on?”

“Kris Kim Wu Fan, the person I hate the most.” Kai bite his pizza.

“Kris Kim Wu Fan? The person you hate? You must’ve hate him a lot to shade his face.”

“He promised to spend time with me but always break his promises. He gives me money all the time to make up for it. He says he’s always busy… but I don’t even know what he’s busy with. Ever since you left, he wastes his money a lot.”

“Is he your dad?”

“Yes.”

“That’s extremely bad! What type of dad is this? You lost your mom! You even didn’t get attention from your father! A kid doesn’t only need money! Does he think family relationships can be bought with money? This is not a responsible father!”

Oh wait… Kai’s dad? Which means he’s my… HUSBAND?!?!

Wastes his money?

Not responsible?

But Kai’s dad isn’t Minho. So that means we’ll break-up.

So all this time sacrificing for our relationship will be a waste…

When I grow up, I’ll marry a guy name Kris Kim Wu Fan.

An unfamiliar name, unknown person, and an unknown future.

“I guess I’ll be going to school, now. I have classes. You stay here in the hotel, okay?” Seohyun stood up from the chair.

“No, I want to follow you.” Kai pouted.

“You can’t.”

“Call me noona infront of other people, okay?”

“Arasso.”

Seohyun left Kai infront of her school building and head to her class.

Aish… I’m late.

Seohyun sneakily went to her seat when the teacher wasn’t looking.

Yoona noticed and turned around to glare at her.
