Hyukjae’s pov.

It’s all felt so dreamy.

Just said, after that thing happen, I kind of lost my ability to process things, my brain was busy.

Let me flashed it back.

“If that’s the case, why you don’t just be my boyfriend as well? So we can be all lovey-dovey and such” I asked him in casual tone as I didn’t want him to be freaked out of me. Hey, I just asked him soooo out of the blue!

I mean, till today our relationship was just a nice and healthy brothership. I did those friendly thingy with all hope that he would fall for me someday, that he would be my boyfriend someday. But I don’t think he would think the same with me.

I bet he just saw our friendship was just a friendship. Nothing more. With this kind of situation between us, of course I couldn’t just ask him to be my boyfriend so darn suddenly, but yet I just did that.

Then again, he said the thing that I couldn’t help but having a hope that he has some kind of feeling towards me. So I couldn’t help but burst out confessing to him.

And now I’m afraid. Because even I asked him in casual tone so I could just passed it out easily as a joke if he rejected me, Oh God please don’t do that to me, I did put my hope in it.

“Sure! So, as your boyfriend, can I call you as Hyukie now?”

Ehm, okay. What just happened?

WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

Did I hear it right?????

Did he just say YES to be my boyfriend??????????????

And did he just call me as Hyukie???????????????????????

What’s with ‘hyukie’ thingy? Is he already gave me a pet name now??????

B-But, DID HE SAY IT SERIOUSLY?

He suddenly, titled his head a bit and smile oh-so-breath-takingly-sweet to me. And my poor head went overload. Too much to handle. Too good to be true. I mean, I surely liked him and wanted him to be my boyfriend. But, him being my boyfriend for real this very current time, it just too far from what I’ve been dream it on.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t ask him if he serious or not as the waitress came with our food and donghae seemed in trance with the food already.

End of flashback

Until now, I haven’t found a perfect time to ask him about the boyfriend thingy further with him. And that really made me confuse as hell.

That’s why I still stared to him blankly as he rested his head on my leg as I sat on sofa and he sat on floor.

Seriously, what happen to him today?? Let’s said, Hae suddenly got more clingy today. His usual self already clingy enough, well I found it cute though, but today he was all the way clingy.

He is a clingy god, for real!

Earlier, when we were eating, he as usual wanted to taste my food. Of course, if he was in his usual self, he would just take a spoonful of my food and eat it. But no, as I said before, he was a clingy god for the rest day. When I shove my plate near to him so he could took a spoon of my food for his own, he frowned. I wondered what’s wrong then he whined and said, “Hyukieeeee, feed me!” as he crossed his arms in front his chest and pouting.

And me, I just not used to this kind of thing from him, so my mind went blank for some seconds. When he whined again, “Hyukieee~~”, I automatically feed him. The effect of that simple action of mine was so eye candy, as Hae munched the food happily, smile widely, bounced up and down on his chair, and his eyes were sparkling in happiness.

I just could shake my head in awe. Awe for Donghae’s adorableness, his cuteness, his innocent, and his genuine self. 

There’s another Hae’s anomaly. When we were on my bike, on our way from restaurant to our practice place, he did something that he never did before. He back hugged me.

Err, should I make it more dramatic?

HE, LEE DONGHAE, BACK HUGGED ME FOR GOD’S SAKE!!!!

OMG. You know the mean of back hugged right?

It means his front body pressed to my back, his arms around my waist when usually he just grabbed the side of my jacket, and his head rested near my shoulder.

Oh yeah, that’s totally heaven!!

Another anomaly was just happen few minutes earlier. Me, shindong and hangeng hyung was just ended another round of our dance practice, to make sure everything was perfect. Suddenly Hae walked toward me while bring a towel then he wiped out my sweat over my face, neck, nape, and arms while I just stood still there with all the eyes in the room focused on us but Hae seemed not care.

Then he grabbed my wrist and dragged me to sofa, give me water to drink, and he sat on floor next to my legs and he rested his head on my leg as he watched the video of us practicing earlier.

The mood was all the way lovey dovey. Was that because propose I made to him earlier? Or was he acted as my boyfriend now? Or was he really serious about boyfriend thingy earlier?

As I was busy with my thought, I stared at his soft featured, and unconsciously his hair softly.

When we finished the practice, it almost midnight and unfortunately it was raining hard.

I looked at Hae who stood beside me, staring at the rain with lonely eyes. Then he frowned when there’s lightning. He almost looks like he was afraid.

Suddenly he snapped his head facing me and stared to my eyes intensely with his deep brownie eyes.

Have I said that donghae’s eyes were really special? He has the eyes that when you stared it deeply, you will drown in it. His brownie eyes were soft, warm, and honest.

That’s why when I stared at it now; I could see the loneliness in his eyes. Then he said, “Hyukie, can I sleep over at your place tonight? Pleeeease.”

I automatically smile warmly at him, wanted to erase the loneliness in his eyes, and nodded at him. “Of course you can” I said softly at him while stoke his hair playfully.

And then he smiled warmly at me with his sparkling eyes. That’s the exact time when I felt there was nothing in the world more important than make Hae happy. It always worth it, to see his smile.

I could feel warmth in my heart.

Uhm, but wait! He slept over in my place meant there would just both of us tonight, as Hyoyeon would slept over in her friend’s place too.

Oh, sweet Lord!

Just both of us alone for tonight!!!!! Gyaaaah!!!!!
