We Met Again
The Secret In The Mirror
“It’s not me. “
She stood up from the ground with her eyes looking straight at him.
“I grew up in the city and only in summer I visited the countryside. I never had seen you or this place. “
She pointed at the mirror where imagine of the man and the girl was.
“I had never seen you! “
She shouted grabbing a book and throwing at the mirror. The mirror scattered in million pieces and the vision disappeared.
“I never said it was you or did I?
He said calmly closing the book. Leaning down with tip of his finger he touched one broken mirror piece and suddenly the mirror was standing like new in its rims. Turning his face to her for the last time he gave her a smile.
“He said that he never wants to see you with him ever again and you should listen to him. You will never know when the death can visit you. “
And then he stepped in the mirror.
She opened her eyes when the doorbell rang. At first she thought it was imagination but then the ringing repeated. Slowly standing from the bed she went in the corridor. It was noon now and day’s light was coming in her apartment. Opening the door just a little bit she saw a smiling face that surprised her.
“Miss Hope we met again. “
Opening the door wider she bowed her head to him. Soon his smile faded.
She looked tired. About a week he saw her the last time and now this person standing here was a different person. It looked like she hadn’t slept, her hair messy and she needed to grip on something to stand properly.
“Can I come in? “
But he didn’t wait for her answer. Pushing her aside from the doorway he stepped in the apartment and first thing that caught his eyes was the black thing hanging on the wall. Turning his face to the girl he met her eyes. They were full of fear. Fear for someone that people couldn’t see.
Stepping few steps forward he touched the black thing hanging on the wall. The thing that few days could show your reflection. A thing that was called a mirror.
