Chapter 6 

You frowned, crossed your arms together.

Apparently your question made them laughed. Wait, scratch that.

It made them bonkers. 

You squinted at Kris and Chen who seemed overly amused by your question. 

"Well, i'm glad that i made you guys laughed. It's my pleasure. Now, about my question? Any kind soul would answer it?"

You rolled your eyes while glaring holes at Kris. 

Kris seemed to get your message and quickly shushed everyone up, except this annoyingly guy who looked so similar to a bun. 

The bun-looking guy looked at you and spoke in Korean, surprising you abit. since he looked so Chinese. 

"We're an idol subgroup called EXO-M. Our group is EXO. And for your information, we are extremely popular."

With that, he winked. 

You tried to contain your laughter but failed. 

You burst out laughing at his explanation. 

Now it was their turn to frown. 

You clutched your hands on your tummy and wiped away a fake tear. 

"P-Popular? You guys are kidding right? 'Cause there is ... no..." 

You gulped at the mighty Duizhang's face. 

".. way you guys are famous.." 

Chen eyed you strangely. 

Then, something hit you in the head. 

"Wait! If you guys are in EXO-M, then i'm guessing that your subgroup is called EXO-K?"

With that, you saw 6 pairs of eyes and 6 mouths hanging open. 

"...Why are you guys staring at me like that?" 

A horse-looking guy spoke up. 

His korean wasn't that good but you still could make out what he was saying. 

"How is it that you knew our subgroup but you don't know our existence?" 

"Well, Luhan, wait, is that your name?" 

You asked him and he shooked his head.

"It's YiXing or Lay." 

"Right, i knew that. Well Lay, i saw EXO-K's album at Kris's CD Collection while cleaning up just now."

Silence. 

Awkward moment, 

Clap!

"Well! This is nice! I am just going to go and .... clean up."

You stood up and pointed to Lay whose eyes widened. 

"You. Help me. Since a certain BUFFALO is not going to help me at all." 

You said casually, indirectly to Kris who glared at you. 

So, Lay helped you to carry the used plates towards the sink while you carried the pot.

The rest of EXO-M also in turn helped Kris to clean the living room and keep things proper. 

Kris went to his room to take the tissue box but was face to face to a strange environment.

His messy bachelor room was spotless. 

He looked around, in awe.

He thanked you silently in his thoughts while making his way back to the living room. 

Meanwhile, You and Lay washed the dishes together. 

You soaped and he rinsed it off. 

You found out alot about Kris and the other members from Lay. 

You were totally thinking of blackmailing him until a thought hit you. 

Were you going to stay here?

What about his fans?

What about your mission? 

Are you going to abandon your mission and live your new life with Kris?

Then again, you are strangers with Kris and you possibly can't stay with someone whom you just met yesterday. 

Finally the dishes are done and you high fived Lay.

You wiped your hands onto a kitchen towel and walked towards the living room, only to find out that the rest were getting ready to go back. 

"Eh? Going back already?"

You asked them, crossing your arms for the third time today. 

Chen looked at you and nodded. 

"Yeah, back to our dorm, that is."

Your mouth formed an O shaped.

Kris walked towards you and dragged you away from the others who was busy tying their shoelaces. 

"Jae In ah, i'm following them back to the dorm. We're getting busy these days so i might not come back here." 

He paused. 

"I'm leaving you the keys to my house because i trust you. Eventhough we just met. I left my number on the table just in case."

You looked up, observing his eyes that showed signs of worry.

Your heartbeat suddenly increases it's pace and you find yourself turning red. 

You nodded.

"A-Ah, alright."

You replied while turning away so that Kris wouldn't see your already red face.

Kris paused and chuckled. 

He bent forward and lightly placed a kiss on your right cheek.

Your eyes widened in surprise and you looked at him. 

He winked and walked away with his team members, leaving you standing there, stunned. 

Your cheeks were hot and red and you had to fan yourself.

Your hands flew to your cheek and you smiled. 

Your stomach did a flip and butterflies flew freely in your mind. 

You let yourself drop onto the sofa.

You sighed in happiness and squealed like a fangirl. 

But your happiness was shortlived by the sound of a familiar tune. 

It was your phone. 

You grunted at whoever was calling you at this time of night. 

You rushed to pick up your phone.

It was a private number. 

You frowned. 

".. H-Hello?" 

"Jae In ah?"

You frozed at the man who said your name. 

That voice.

It was so familiar.

Don't tell me...

"... Brother? Is that you?"

The man paused before answering your question.

".. Yes, Jae In." 

Your hands suddenly realised their grip on your handphone and it fell on the floor.

You sunked onto the floor, not believing what the man said.
