=Jiyeon POV=

"where am I?"

I mumbled while wondering around the place, but everything here is covered with white and nothing else.

"hello? anybody here? please answer me"

I called out.. but no one answered *this is creepy*

"eomma! I wanna go see the other island"

out of nowhere, a little voice appeared. I turn around and saw a little girl talking to a lady which I assume her mother she just called. both of them has a blurry face, it cant be seen nor recognize just like a silhoutte

"uhm- excuse me"

I tried to approach the lady but it seems like she cant hear me or even see me

*what's happening? am I a ghost? a-am I d-dead?*

my whole body shivered at that though when all of a sudden, the white surroundings change into some place I didnt know

"appa! I wanna go see the other island. can we go there?" the same little girl earlier said to whom she called father

"but appa has a lot of work to do"

hearing the answer of her father makes the little girl sad so the couple look at each other and nod their heads. I silently stood in the corner watching the every scene that's happening

"dont be sad sweet heart, you can go to the other island tomorrow with your eomma" he said creating a big smile in the little girl face

"jinja appa?" (jinja-really, appa- dad)

"yes. just be careful okay?"

"ne appa! lets make a tinky winky promise then"

and so they cross fingers together then after that the location change

"IM LEAVING"

"so what my neighbours told me about you leaving was true"

even though I cant clearly see the two figures conversing, Im still sure that it was a little boy and the same little girl earlier. *why do I keep seeing her everywhere?*

"when?" the little boy asked

"today" she answered between sobs

the atmosphere is kind of sad. as if they are breaking apart, the boy is silently crying while the little girl stood up then grab a stone and started to write something in the big tree. My eyes grew wide upon realizing the familiar tree, step by step I move my feet to get closer and confirm if my eyes wasnt cheating on me and it really wasnt. *that big tree is the one located in our school*

BESTFRIEND FOREVER

how come I didnt notice that there is such a words written on it? Is it because I wasnt paying enough attention? I shrug and let the matter pass before bring back my attention to both of the kids, theyre still talking but I cant hear anything anymore. And the last thing I knew is were in a different place again! Im starting to get confused! What is this all about?

"are you okay honey?" the little girls mom asked to her daughter concernly

"yes. But Ill miss my bestfriend in this island"
 

"dont worry, we will visit again next time okay?"

I didnt care much about their conversation cause im in the middle of exploring the ship. Yes! I am now in a ship! And this is my first time riding a ship so im extrememly happy!

but...

that happiness didnt last for a long period of time as it was replaced by fear because of the strong waves which started to hit the ship nonstop together with the heavy rain and roaring sea.

everyone is on panic, doing everything they can to prevent the boat from sanking.. too bad, the little girl falls down from the ship and got carried away from the wild sea..

after that, everthing become blurry 

=End of Jiyeon POV=

=Myungsoo POV=

"excuse me doc, do you have any extra blood type AB?"

I asked but he told me that AB blood is really uncommon so they didnt have anything left from their storage. the same thing happen when I went to another hospital and another hospital and another hospital until I think there's no more hospital left on this island.

When I cant see a single hope anymore, I felt my body become weak.

30 minutes passed and still theres no any trace of blood type AB in every hospital that I went through. Im running out of time! Surely, if im not able to find a solution to this crisis in less than half an hour.. jiyeon will die.

Finally, my knees gave in. I laid my back on the tree and look above the sky feeling the great pain in my heart

"why?"

"why am I so concerned about her? Why am I so desperate to save her? And why am I so afraid to loose her in my life? Is it because of pity? Or because shes been a good friend to me ever since I transferred to this school?"

A lot of questions flood inside my mind but none of them has an answer, im so confused right now.

*ringggggggg* (phone rings)

yeoboseyo? I answered my phone having no more energy left to converse

"YA MYUNGSOO-AH!! WHY ARENT YOU PICKING UP YOUR PHONE?"

Hyung began to scold me but I dont feel like having argument with him so I said sorry without thinking twice and just as expected, he got taken aback never thought that I would say such a thing.

"ya are you sick?" Whats wrong instead of being sarcastic, his voice got filled with concern

"can I ask you something hyung?"

"go ahead"

"do you know anyone with a blood type AB?"

"I AM blood type AB? Wae?"

hyung answered and I was surprised *how can I forget my own brother having that type of blood? If only I remember it earlier then everythings gonna be fine since flying here using the helicopter will only take one and a half hour but now its too late to do that*

"anyone else?" I asked once more hoping that theres still one person left near this place that have the same blood

"only one person left......JB"

*no way*

I absent mindedly utter and face-palmed myself

"arasso. Ill call you later hyung" I said and quickly ending our conversation

-sigh-

*of all people, why him?*

I glance at my wrist watch and it reads 6:50pm. I guess I have no choice but to swallow my pride and ask him a favor.. even though that jerk is the person I hated the most
