Getting ready for work lily sits on her chair drinking coffee watching the morning news, nothing particularly interesting, after last night things have gone deeper and more complicated so she have to explain this to him after his concert which is in 4 more days. The idea of how he would react send chills down her bone

She wish he would forgive her. He did say he loved her. *wait, what am I thinking , I want him to stay? I still want to be with him* it’s a sad fact but she cant lie but realize that she was already in love.

The fact that so many things are happening at one time choked her. The fact that her uncle lied, her family fought and now taeyang.

Staring at the tv screen with no interest at all she stood up ‘ok, comeon start the day’ , she have a company to run.

4days later

Spinning on her chair, she reads his messages again and again, smiling

‘I miss you, love’

‘rise and shine, go work baby!’

‘I can’t wait to be back and see you’

‘ofcourse there’s tons of pretty girls here but you know who’s no.1 right’

‘baby, I’ll be back this morning, come by tonight, I have a gift for you’

She stares at her desktop screen. Seeing nothing but his face. She hope he would forgive her. They could do this. She smiled slowly. Tonight she will tell him, explain to him the truth of her mistake. Explain to him that she does want a new start with him. That she is up for it, up for them.

Walking slowly to her large ceiling high glass window, she stares at the road side, silently watching people walking, cars moving. Taping her finger on the glass she smiles when she spotted an old couple holding hands walking together.

Her secretary enter. ‘Miss lily, someone is here to meet you’ she said

‘ok’ she nods still facing the window.

The door opened and closed with a low thud.

Lily assume it must be one of the board members, Mark, as he plans to meet her in 30 mins. Maybe he’s early today.  

‘How’s the condominium in Incheon Mark?’ she said still watching the old couple.

No reply

Then a familiar voice came ‘Hello Jade’

She felt all the blood rushed out from her head. Her fingers turn cold, her knee turns wobbly

Its him, he’s here, taeyang is here.

She gulped in panic and distress. Turning slowly she faced his. He was standing next to a sofa looking straight right at her, furious, very furious, his face was hard and his eyes were cold

And she was afraid

‘Taeyang’ she said slowly

He had a magazine in his hand and he threw it on the coffee table, the only thing separating them.

‘what is this jade?’ he asked, then he laughed, a dry laugh without any touch of humor, ‘oh I’m sorry, what is this Lily?’

Lily looked at the magazine, the front cover, a picture of her entering taeyang’s car when he send her back home 4 days ago. The title states ‘Taeyang, Kpop Idol, dating Korea’s youngest CEO Lily’

She gulped. ‘I..I was going to explain’ she stammered

He looked at her her straight, not even blinking, his expression the same ‘please do explain, I’m all ears’ he said coldly

Lily have face boardmembers, big tycoons, a hall of intimidating business people but never she had felt this afraid. She has always found the ability to charm her way out from problems but this time she’s afraid she can’t break lose

Wringing her fingers she started to explain ‘yes, Im Lily, not jade, I lied, I know..I..emm..I…’

Before she could continue he said ‘you’re the daughter of the family from the car crash’

She finds it hard to breathe ‘yes’ she nods

‘you wanted revenge from me?’ he said, every word as cold as ice, slicing her breath

‘listen tae, my uncle, he lied, he told me you were the guilty one, I thought wrong, I..I.. I was going to explain tonight’ she said hopelessly bitting her lower lips, searching his eye for warmth, none

‘when did you know the truth?’ he took small steps closer to her.

She retreat slowly ‘4 days ago, I was going to tell you’

His eyes flickered ‘on the day you cried? Before that you planned for revenge, everything you did was a lie. I don’t even know your name!’

She took gulps of air,trying to find words to say ‘I,,its not like that tae, its..I am in love with you, I was crazy to do this, but my feelings are true’ she retreated back as he took angry steps slowly towards her

She bumped to the glass window. He placed both of his arms beside her trapping her in anger ‘Liar! Such a beautiful liar, I don’t even know you anymore, you look different’ he scan her hair, her work attire,her makeup. He hissed in annoyance ‘ you set out to seduce me, and make me fall for you, look at this office, you’re one of the richest people in Korea and you became to bored that you had to play games with me, why Lily, all those business men don’t fit your requirements?’ He said, every word sending needles piercing her heart.

‘I know you are angry tae, but listen, along the way I felt we were real and I’m sorry I started this the wrong way, I was caught up in a lie and I brought you to it, I wish it was different’ it was hard for her to say her heart out cause his expression only got furious.

He looked at her scanning her face, she gulped her eyes hoping for forgiveness

He stalked back to the sofa, looked at her and said ‘That’s it, I don’t know you, I regret knowing Jade and I regret knowing you, the fact that you set out to ruin me is amazing Lily, but the fact that you now are continue to lie with your words, that’s just horrible, deep down you’re a monster’

He was walking to the door. He was going to leave she noted, she ran and grabbed his hand, he turned and looked at her

‘please taeyang, don’t throw this away, I’m not telling you a lie, It’s true, I’m sorry we started of like this, give us a chance baby’ she said beggingly tears already shimmering.

His eyes flicked, he let her hand go ‘ goodbye lily, If you set out to break my heart, you maybe have succeed, I do not wish to see you again’ he walked out the office, not looking back

Lily stared at the closed door, tears falling slowly gulping for air she walked back to her chair and slumped herself. Her lower lips shiver, her hands shake

*I do not wish to see you again*he said
