Chapter 1 - You Again!

As soon as Yuri and Jessica got to school, they immediately went to class and shared cheers of excitement as they found out that they were in the same class.

"Good morning, class! From now on, this is the class you'll be attending to, and I'll be your teacher for the rest of the year! Now, I'll start row call," the teacher said fast and eagerly. "Ok Taecyeon!"

"Here!"

"Choi Sooyoung!"

"Here!"

"Kwon Yuri!"

"Here!"

"Jung Jessica!"

"Here," it went on and on until finally the teacher got to the last person.

"Kim Jaejoong!” everyone waited as the room filled with silence and no response. Soon everyone starts to questioningly look at each other and wonder where he is.

Yuri turned around to Jessica who sat behind her, "Yah, Sica! Isn't it that guy from this morning?" she whispered quietly.

"Yeah, it's him... Oh my goodness! He's in our class!" Jessica shrieked with happiness as she realizes they also have the same class with Jaejoong. Yuri just looked away, annoyed. Seconds later, Jaejoong walked in as if class had just started. As soon as he enters, the atmosphere changes completely, making it quite awkward.

"Are you Kim Jaejoong?" the teacher asked.

"Ne..." he responded flatly.

"Well, you're late! It's the first day of school, so this matter will be excused, but be late again and you'll receive punishments." Everyone looked at him, but he seemed like he didn't care. Most of the girls including Jessica couldn't help but stare at his handsome face and attractiveness even in a school uniform. Some even squealed when they saw him. "Since you're late, you will have an assigned seat right next to..." the teacher said as he looked around to see if there were any empty seats. His eyes stopped right at Yuri, who had no one else sitting next to her. "You can go sit next to Kwon Yuri." Jaejoong followed the teacher’s gaze and slowly made his way to his seat.

"Anyohaseyo." Yuri said trying to sound as polite as she can. Jaejoong looked at her than looked away, acting as if she said nothing.

Yuri's POV

What's his problem? It's not like I want to say 'Hi' to you anyways. Sheesh! After that awkward greeting, I looked away and tried to feel as comfortable as I can because this guy's gonna be sitting here for the rest of the year. Let's just not cause any issues between us. After that, we took a class vote on who should be the class president, and being the smarty pants I am, I won the votes. Yay, I thought. Being class president isn't all that bad, and it's not like there's a bunch of work to do, so I'm satisfied with being the president. The rest of the class period went by rather quickly, and by the time I knew it, class has ended.

Class was dismissed and the students hurriedly stood up and scurried their own way.

"Yah, Yuri-ah, pali, let's go!" Jessica said happily as she stood by the classroom door. "Geez, Yuri, you're too organized."

"Arasso, I'll be right out! Yuri shouted behind. "You can go on first, I'll catch up!"

"Ne~, hurry up! I'll be right outside," Jessica then left the classroom. Yuri quickly left the classroom after organizing her stuff. She made a turn around the corner when she suddenly bumped into something. She tumbled to the floor, making the contents in her bag fall everywhere. Ouch, what did I bump into? A wall?! She thought to herself. She quickly got up and was just about to apologize when a voice broke in.

"Yah, watch where you're going! Do you know who I am?!" That voice, Yuri could tell it from anywhere. She slowly looked up already knowing it was Kim Jaejoong. But, he wasn't alone. It was that girl from earlier, Hwang Tiffany was it? Yuri started to wonder why they were there, and what they were doing together. "You again!" he blurted. "Tiffany, we'll continue our talk tomorr "

"No! I want an explanation now!" Tiffany demanded. He shot her a cold look, and she finally agreed and walked away looking a little ticked off. Yuri's head went back down as she looked at all the stuff she had to reorganize and put back in her school bag.

"Apologize," Jaejoong bluntly said.

"W-What?" Yuri asked surprised, as she was expecting an apology from him. Seriously, who does he think he is, she thought to herself.

"I said 'Apologize', did you not hear me the first time?" Yuri's head was up now, she was staring at him as he was her.

"I heard what you said, but don't you think you owe me an apology also?"

Jaejoong scoffed, "Haha! You think I owe you an apology?!" Jaejoong was surprised and shocked, but as he looked at Yuri, he realized she was serious. "Who bumped into who?" he asked. Yuri knew she was the one that bumped into him first, but still, she couldn't say sorry despite knowing it was her fault. It just felt like she would regret it if she gave in to him. After a couple of long, awkward seconds, she couldn't help but say, "I'm...s-sorry." Jaejoong flashed out a smirk, and walked away knowing he had taken away her pride.

"But shouldn't you help me pick up my stuff?!" Yuri yelled after him. She was mad, but she kept it in. "I know I bumped into you, but you should at least help me pick my stuff up." Jaejoong just turned around.

"Ugh, jerk!" Yuri said to herself. Surprisingly, Jaejoong heard that, and walked back.

"What did you just say?" He asked, his voice husky and cold.

"I...I said you're a jerk! You think only about yourself, and you think the sun revolves around you! You "

"Yah," Jaejoong was grinning now, "You're interesting, no girl's ever said things like that to me." He was inching towards her now.

"You, does your mother not teach you proper skills?" Suddenly, she saw anger in Jaejoong's eyes. She stumbled against the wall as he slammed his palm into it. Their faces were just inches away now. Her heart was trembling, not knowing his next move. But she's knows one thing, and that is, that he's mad. She said something wrong, but what was it?

"You don't know me." She knew he was angry, but deep in his eyes, she also saw a spark of pain and sadness. Things were getting worse, Jaejoong's piercing eyes made her feel so uncomfortable. She was in panic mode now, she's never been so close to a guy before.

"Y-Yuri!" Both Jaejoong and Yuri looked to see who it was. It was Jessica. Jaejoong's hands were still pressed against the wall, making Jessica look confused and curious. After a few seconds, he put his hands in his pockets and gave Yuri a quick look before walking away, acting as if nothing happened again.

Yuri's POV

"Yuri, what were you guys doing together?" Jessica asked me confused.

"Well, I bumped into him, and refused to say sorry...it's kind of a long story."

"What?! You refused to say sorry to him?!" Jessica said, with shock and astonishment in her tone. "Yah, no one's ever done that to him, not even teachers!" I was amazed, not even teachers? What was he.

"Yah, I think he's gonna make you his target," Jessica said smiling. "What are you talking about?" I said disturbed. "I will never fall for a jerk like him." It kind of irritated me why such a jerk could be so handsome even when he's mad. But, what really irritated me was when I brought up his mom, he got angry right when I said that. Why am I so curious?
