Chapter 12 Kyuhyun, Hyukjae and Donghae were already sitting at the dining table eating their breakfasts, when Jongwoon finally joined them.   “Looking good Jongwoon-ah,” Donghae exclaimed happily.   Kyuhyun, who had his back turned towards Jongwoon, turned around to see what Donghae was talking about. Jongwoon had replaced his old wig with a new one. A brownish messy hairstyle. It made him look a lot younger then he actually was.   Jongwoon smiled at Donghae’s comment and sat down to eat some breakfast as well. As soon as all of them were finished eating, Jongwoon and Donghae got themselves ready to go to the city for some shopping. Jongwoon didn’t suspect anything at all and as soon as Jongwoon and Donghae had left, Kyuhyun and Hyukjae high-fived each other. Until here, everything had gone perfectly.   The veterinary practice was just 10 minutes away by car. Even though Jongwoon had said it was small, Kyuhyun begged to differ. Hyukjae told Kyuhyun that there were about 12 veterinarians working at this practice. Why it was called a veterinary practice, Kyuhyun didn’t understand. It was more like a veterinary hospital.   They were lucky. Mister Choi, the owner of the practice (who also worked as a vet), had just finished his nightshift and was willing to talk to Hyukjae and Kyuhyun straight away. He introduced himself as Choi Siwon, but they could just call him Siwon. Any friends of Jongwoon were his friends. After the short introduction, Siwon led them to his office where Hyukjae explained everything to him. The man seemed shocked when Hyukjae finally finished his story.   It turned out that Jongwoon never told anyone at his work what he was suffering from and why he was quitting his job. Siwon said he would love to participate in their plan to surprise Jongwoon, and all 3 of them (4 after Kyuhyun explained that Donghae, who was keeping Jongwoon busy while they were trying to arrange this, would come too) could come over in 4 days.  Jongwoon could walk along with Siwon on his shift as long as he could and wanted. Hyukjae and Kyuhyun thanked the man and returned back home.   At the late afternoon, Jongwoon and Donghae finally returned home as well. They were carrying so many bags with them, that Kyuhyun thought they had robbed a clothing store of all its clothes or something. As it turned out, they were all for Donghae. Jongwoon was overly happy and excited to show Donghae’s new clothes to his other friends. Donghae, on the other hand, looked slightly cranky and tired. Kyuhyun showed a thumbs-up to Donghae, when Jongwoon wasn’t looking, to let him know the plan had succeeded and Donghae cheered up a little. At least all the shopping wasn’t in vain.     ✭✭✭✭✭     “What are you guys doing?” Jongwoon asked, while rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. He had just woken up and found out that Kyuhyun was no longer sleeping next to him, even though it was only 7 in the morning. Kyuhyun getting out of bed at 7 in the morning on his free day was more than slightly unusual, so he went looking for him. Once downstairs, he found Kyuhyun, as well as Hyukjae and Donghae, whispering to each other at the dining table.   “We were just deliberating. It’s a Saturday, we are all having the day off, we should do something fun together!” Hyukjae responded, smiling his brightest smile.   Jongwoon raised one of his eyebrows while staring at Hyukjae in disbelief. Hyukjae letting him go somewhere without any strings attached? That was new. But before Jongwoon could say anything in return, he was already being pushed towards the car by Kyuhyun.   “Sit,” Kyuhyun said, while pointing inside the car. Jongwoon obeyed. Kyuhyun sat next to him in the back seat, while Donghae sat in the front passenger seat and Hyukjae took the driver’s seat.   “Let’s go!” Hyukjae said, still smiling brightly. He started the car and the music loudly. Jongwoon was still dazed, but couldn’t help but smile. They were really taking him somewhere, it was not one of their lame jokes. Hyukjae was really taking him somewhere. Miracles really do still happen!   After merely 10 minutes of driving, Jongwoon decided to ask where they were going. But before he could form the words, Hyukjae made a turn and the car stopped in front of a building. Jongwoon was surprised by this and looked outside to see where they were.
