They sat in the bus in silence. Kyuhyun looks out of his windows like a typical tourist while Amber kept her eyes closed. Somewhere throughout the journey, Amber's head rested on Kyuhyun shoulders restraining him from moving around vigorously. However the man doesn't seem to mind and he was actually happy at the fact that Amber was slowly letting down her guard on him. It was a mixed feeling Kyuhyun couldn't describe. Somewhere at the back of his mind, the urge of wanting to protect the girl and break down her defensive mechanism kept haunting him. She seems intriguing to him to the extent that she had totally become his topic of study ever since they first met.

The bus suddenly jerked and woke the sleepy head up without hesitations. She grumbled at the lousy driving skills the bus driver possessed having to wake her up while she is having her precious nap. Kyuhyun amused at her overreacting at even the slightest things took the opportunity to ask her, “Amber, where are we going?”

“Tsim Sha Tsui. You once said you were inspired by Chungking Express so much so to the extent of going into the film industry because of this. So I am going to bring you to Chungking Mansion.” Amber replied with a bored face at him.

Kyuhyun excited to hear the effort she put into planning his city tour yet somehow he was puzzled by her knowledge of his source of inspiration since he had yet to share with her on this before. Being the curious man he always was, he decides to probe further. “How did you know I was inspired by that film? I don't remember.... “

“You don't have to know.” Amber shuts him up immediately in an attempt to keep her dignity in her accidental discovery.

The awkward silence that follows somehow made Kyuhyun regret his question. She was just about to open up to him and he had to destroy the balance between the two of them. Amber on the other side was hiding her embarrassment.

Kyuhyun and Tse was chatting away the other night when they came over for dinner. Somewhere during the preparation, Amber chanced upon the two and overheard their conversation. Initially, she had no intention on eavesdropping onto their conversation yet somehow the choice of film Kyuhyun said somewhat intrigues her. The basic criteria working for Tse, she have to possess a extensive knowledge on films and cinemas in order for her to adapt into the scope of her job well. Out of the many films she watched, she shares the same favorite with her new neighbor.

“But Chungking Mansion is pretty much different now. So don't expect what you see in 1994 still remains now.” Amber merely states the facts not wanting to disappoint the older man.

Apparently, Amber did not realize they took the wrong bus and stopped at a unfamiliar bus terminal. Kyuhyun looked around in confusion at a totally new area. “Amber, where are we?”

“Erms, I think we're at some jetty.” Amber answers with uncertainty.

Kyuhyun feeling lost and skeptic at his guide of the day, unravels his original personality, retorts, “Obviously with a sea and a ferry terminal.”

Amber was pretty much taken aback by the usually patronizing Kyuhyun sudden change of tone in his speech. It wasn't exactly that bad, in fact she actually like this part of him. Genuine.

Ever since her parents left, she has no kin nor friends she could trust. She understood the people around cares for her but after some time, she hated the pity and self-righteousness the people were imposing onto her. She didn't really need then patronizing her. All she wants are genuine truths and not some pretty lies fabricated out of sympathy. It was tiring. She felt pathetic.

Amber smiles back at him which took Kyuhyun back with a bigger surprise as he was expecting her to growl back at her with her usual scorn. She replied in a chirpier tone which she seems to have lost it for a couple of years now. “Hey! Don't forget I'm a local here. You are the tourist, not me!” Amber taunts at him with an amused expression splattered across her face and grabbed his arms without hesitation, “We're going to be some crazy tourist for the day!” and ran towards the jetty like some mad woman on the run dragging the taller young man along. Kyuhyun retorted, “I thought I was suppose to be the tourist and you're the local here?” which earns him a smack at the back of his head from Amber. “Oh shut up and follow! The ferry is leaving in a minute!”

As they board the ferry, Amber hits a column and injured her left foot. She almost fell but Kyuhyun managed to save her from falling in time. It was a small gesture but it was slowly creeping into Amber's heart. At that moment, some crazy thoughts ran over her mind as she stared at Kyuhyun continuously while he was searching for the seats.

How nice it is to have someone to support you when you're about to fall... Oh I must be crazy... All the caffeine I had last night are starting to give me hallucinations. Amber thought to herself while she took a seat right next to the excited tourist ready with a camera. She chuckles to herself softly as Kyuhyun looked like some little boy out on a field trip excited and eager to explore. Kyuhyun caught a glimpse of her silent chuckle and turned to her catching her in surprise. “What are you laughing at? A tourist?” Amber couldn't hold back any longer finally burst out in laughters, “YA! You are one! You freaking TOURIST!”

Kyuhyun's initially wanted to smack the back of her head suddenly stopped at his tracks and stared at the petite girl in front of him still laughing. He releases an evil smirk as he raised his hands towards Amber and hold on to the side of her head as he moves nearer to her. Amber stunned at his abrupt actions towards her froze on the spot immediately fearing the worst things he might do to her at that moment as she could see the evil smile forming gradually from the smirk.

Is he going to kiss me or something... or...

Before she could continue her thoughts, Kyuhyun's hands started ruffling her hair and messing it up as if tossing a salad. Amber releases a huge sigh of relief and counter attack on Kyuhyun as if to show signs of rage. Unbeknownst to Kyuhyun, underneath the facade of the pompous girl, butterflies were rampaging her stomach filling it up with many different kinds of emotions. Her heart was racing like no tomorrow.

Kyuhyun on the other hand had experienced the same similar set of emotions earlier on while she was snoozing away on the bus with him. The snares and his difficult personality also came as a facade of his true intentions too. He becomes flippant as this is the only way he could masks himself and be natural with her for now.

The two sensing stares from other passengers on board finally felt the embarrassment they are causing and stood still on their seats. Sensing awkwardness, Kyuhyun took out his polaroid camera and hung his arms around Amber bringing her closer before she could react in time, “Say Kyuu!” and snaps a picture together.

Amber stared at him in disbelief while Kyuhyun patiently waits for the results with a wide grin plastered across his face.

In Kyuhyun's eyes, the result was good.

They reached the harbor and Amber took the lead in front. Kyuhyun being the typical tourist stroll around in slow steps and looked around for familiarization slowly found himself losing sight of Amber. Frantic, he looked through his cell phone and realized that he did not have Amber's number. Lost in translation, he asked for directions with much difficulty given his calm demeanor which becomes quite a sight to catch. Unknown to him, Amber was actually observing him from afar and enjoying the little commotion he was stirring. People starts gathering around Kyuhyun and soon they seem to be plotting something from afar. Sensing something ominous, she walks towards Kyuhyun and his following. As she was about to come close to them...

“AMBER!!! AMBER!!! AMBER!!!” the crowd started roaring at the top of their voice. Amber was taken aback by the sudden uproar and froze on the spot not knowing what to do. Magically, the crowd seems maneuvered around as if the parting of the red sea and forms two side of the human wall between Amber and Kyuhyun. The mastermind reveals a huge sigh of relief followed by an evil smirk running across his face. He ran over to Amber and gave her a big hug and turned to the audience in front of him. “Thank you so much for helping me. I found my wife. THANK YOU~~” in all gratitude followed by a soft chuckle.

“WHAT WIFE?!” Amber finally came to realization that Kyuhyun had just fabricated a story with the passerbys.

“You! Let's go!” Kyuhyun grabbed Amber's hand and started walking away from the crowd without realizing he is heading towards the wrong direction. “Tourist! Why are you leading the way?” Amber snapped out of her trance, grabbed Kyuhyun's wrist to make him stop walking further.

“Oh! Who's fault was it to begin with?” Kyuhyun snaps.

Amber rolled her eyes in disbelief, “Oh Tourist, are you trying to say its my fault waking up on a fine Sunday morning and acting a guide to a pathetic tourist while I could have the luxury of my soft and comfy bed?”

Guilt was written all over Kyuhyun's face creating an awkward silence for a while before Amber felt that she was a tad too harsh on him. “Okay. I shouldn't have walked that fast. Let's go? I'll buy you a sweet.” Amber seems to enjoy pacifying the young man as if he's a little kid.
