Khun Appa

I cant think straight right now. All i have in mind is that my wife is going to leave me for i dont know how long. I run my self to the lift and hurry to meet the PD of the CF. Maybe i should just give up this CF since the first. The lift stop at the meeting floor and i walk faster to meet the PD. The PD and the CF promotional sajangnim are sitting in the common room near JYP hyung’s room.

“Annyeonghaseyo, PD nim, Sajangnim. Sorry i’m late. I have a..... family problem....”, i greet them and bow lightly.

The PD gives a sign for me to sit and i take a deep breath. I know, its hard, but i think i hate to make a decision now. With all risks.

“So, why did you ask to meet us, Nichkhun-ssi ?”, The sajangnim asks with a stern expression.

He seems bothers that i, as the artist is way too much by asking them for another meeting before the CF filming.

“I have a problem that might affect my decision for this CF. I know i’ll sound selfish and unprofessional. But, i have no choice but to put the right thing first”, i say to them.

Both of them are staring at me with confuse look. I know, i seem going round and round before the point.

“I dont get you, Nichkhun-ssi. What’s the point of this ?”, The PD nim asks as i can hear his tone getting impatient.

I take a deep breath. Vic’s message come cross my mind again and the pain that caued by it just pierce into my heart deeper. In the end, i have to choose one thing. I cant be too greedy, can i ?.

“I’m really sorry, PDnim, Sajangnim, but i have to give up the CF...”, I say and let my sentence hang like that.

The PD throws the script at me with anger. I know, they must be really dissapointed with me. I observe the Sajangnim’s expression, but he still in a compose mode. I dont know what he think about my sudden decision.

“You’re being very unprofessional, Nichkhun-ssi !!! i never thought that you could do this. It’s D-1 to the filming !”, The PD nim let out his anger to me as he stands and pointing his finger at me. I bow deep to him for appologizing.

The Sajangnim massages his temple for a while and then he says, “Why did you decide to give up, Nichkhun-ssi ?”.

He asks with a very calm and controlled emotion.

“It’s because of my wife. She didnt approve me doing a CF with romantic scene with female partner in it. So i decided that i have to choose one. But then, i have to earn more money since she’s having our 2nd child right now...”, i explain to him, “So i’m kind of in a dilemma”.

“You need the CF, but you’re rejecting the romantic scene in it ?! How selfish ?!”, The PD nim gives me another harsh reaction.

He’s totally right.

I’m being selfish and subordinate right now and maybe even more now.

I drop down on my knees and kneel in front of them. I know that i would totally loose my career as a CF actor if i fail this one. But at least i try. And this is the only way i have in mind.

“If only, if only i could change my partner... i would do the CF”, i state my final condition.

A truly selfish one.

But then, out of my prediction, the Sajangnim follows up my condition.

“You want to be partner with whom ?”, he asks. I can see a spark of hope in Sajangnim. This is my last chance.

The PD nim punches his fist to the chair. He decided Dara Park eonni as my partner and now i’m begging for partner change. On D-1 . He will never forgive me.

“With my wife, Victoria”, i say confidently.

Baro

A phone call enters my cellphone just as we finished filming our new MV, “Baby Goodnight”. I pick my cellphone but CNU hyung peeks the caller first.

“Eh ? Khun Appa ? Waeyo ?”, CNU hyung mumbles.

I swipe my cellphone and accept the call.

“Yeoboseyo ?”, i can hear Khun Appa’s voice.

“Yeoboseyo, Oh Appa. Museun irrissoyo (What’s going on) ?”, i ask Appa. Its a very rare condition when Appa will call one of us.  Jinyoung hyung and others are giving me a “what” look.

The boys gather around me and trying to listen to our conversation, so i put on a loudspeaker.

“Baro-ya. Can i ask you and your brothers help ? And maybe ask F(x) girls too. I have an important mission for you guys”, Khun Appa says.

“Important mission ? Call, Appa !”, Gong Chan answers excitedly.

CNU

“Yeoboseyo, Soojeong-ah ? Ppappo (Busy)? ”, i ask as the opposide of the phone answer me.

“Aniyo, Oppa. Waeyo ?”, she answers.

“Listen, Appa just called us and we think we need F(X) girls help”, i say to her.

“Help ? for what ?”, Soojeong asks back. “Is it about Vic Omma ?”

“Yeah, its for her. We’re on an important mission. So, here’s the deal.....”, i continue explain to her.

I thank Appa for having an important mission for Omma, so that i can have a nice conversation with Soojeong.

Vic Omma

I pack my clothes and Nicky’s before departing to Qingdao tomorrow night. After what happened, i think i need sometime alone. Just when i arrange my things to the luggage, Khun enters our bed room and catches me packing. He walks to me and hold my wrist. I look up and meet his eyes.

“Let me go, Khun...”, i say calmly. I dont have any strenght to have another squarrel with him. This is just too frustrating. I never knew hormonal will be like this.

Khun sits on the bed and he keeps staring at me while i continue packing.

“Are you sure about this ?”, he asks slowly. I can hear a pain his sentence.

I nod silently. I need sometime alone and maybe i really missed my family too. Its like a mixed feeling. But how about him ? I dont like his decision but i still love him. Eottohke ?.

“This morning Nicky told me about something that bother him. He told me that he saw his friend’s parents got mad with each other in front of him and divorced. He said that he doesnt want that to happen to us”, He adds.

Divorce... I never thought of it before, but if it fit our situation, then maybe, there’s a possibility.

I keep silent listening to him. I’ll let him conclude by himself.

Then he adds again, “If its your decision, then i’ll respect it”. I can hear his voice’s shaking. He raise from his seat and hiding his expression from me. He walks out to the door, leaving me packing again.

What ? He didnt hold me back ? He didnt ask me to stay ?

Suddenly, a tear fall to my cheek. Did I make a right decision by going to Qingdao ?

I woke up this morning and found that next to me is empty. He’s gone. He told me that today’s the filming day of the CF and yet he left this morning without saying anything. So he still decided to take the CF and doing that romantic scene with Dara eonni even he knew that tonight I’ll be going to Qingdao. I arrange the bed and look around the bed room. My tears are falling again. All my things that I packed last night are ready. Maybe I really need sometime alone. Not because I want to leave him, but I need something that I need to sort out. Even as a wife I still jealous of small things like this. And the hormonal problem only increases the spark. I f I could have sometime alone…

I walk to Nicky’s room and it’s already arranged well. Khun must have taken him to kinder. I walk down the stair and looking for something to cook. Then suddenly, the bell rings, and someone knocks on the door. I walk towards the door and open it.

Sulli ? Amber ? Luna ? Krystal ? what are they doing here ?

“Annyeong, Omma. Johun achim !!! Mwoeyo (what are you doing)?”, Luna greets and asks me what I’m doing.

“Nothing. Just wanna have a breakfast”, I answer shortly and take them to sit in the living room.

Sulli and Amber are looking at each other and Krystal exchanging look with Luna.

“Hmm, how bout we have a breakfast together, eonni ?”, Krystal asks, “Outside ? Eottae ?”

Before I answer her question, Amber and Luna grabs my wirst and takes me outside the house.

“But…. Jamsimanyo…. But I ….”, I try to explain to them.

“No buts, Omma… Just follow us !”, Sulli says and she locks the front door as Luna and Amber takes me to the car.

Seriously, they said that they’re taking me for breakfast, but why do I feel like they’re kidnapping me ?

Krystal takes out her phone and dials a number.

”Yeoboseyo ? Oppa ? Yeah, Omma is now with us. You do yours now okay ? Meet you in half hour, okay ?”, she says. She ended the conversation and gets in the car.

Manager Oppa already in cooperation with them so he drives the car immediately after Krystal gets in the car.

“Omma, I’m sorry, but I have to blindfold you”, Amber says and then all goes black as she ties a blindfold to me. I have no idea where they taking me to.

Khun Appa

The set is on, and now I just have to wait for Vic Omma and Nicky to come and join me. The Sajangnim and PDnim agreed with me yesterday when I asked to change partner on last minute. I called Dara nuna and appologized to her that I asked the PD to change my partner. I explained my reason that I have to change my partner. I was afraid that she will mad at me and scratch me from her dongsaengs list, but seems like she’s okay with it.

She said, “Khun-ah, I know it’s a hard thing for you and if I’m on Vic’s position, maybe I’ll do the same like her. Just take good care of her okay ? Aaaaaah how I envy you both !”.

“Neomu gamsahamnida, nuna. I will take good care of her”, I said to her.

“Ne…ne…. just find me a boyfriend, will you ?”, that’s the final sentence she said. And I cant help not to laugh. I’ll find you a boyfriend, Nuna.

Not long, I can hear feets stumbling on the stairs and one by one I can see my foster sons entering the filming scene. Jinyoung holds Nicky and he seems excited to go back to a filming scene.

“Uwaaaaaa cameras…. Appa ! Are we gonna film a CF ? ”, Nicky yells excitedly as he looks around and bows to the crews that he sees.

Jinyoung puts him down and he runs to me, I catch him and hold him.

“Jemisso (Interesting, eh)?”, I ask Nicky and he nods wildly.

Baro, Jinyoung, GongChan, CNU and Sandeul gather around me and greet me cheerfully.

“New MV chukhahae, adeuli”, I congratulate them and they thank me dramatically.

“Gamsahaeyo, Appa”, Baro and Sandeul says.

“Gamsahamnida…that’s my work again, Appa”, Jinyoung says.

And Gong Chan suddenly asks, “Eum… are we gonna be feature on your CF, Appa ?”

I laugh hard and CNU taps GongChan’s head lightly as his magnae tends to asks silly question.

“Ya ! We’re here to help Appa and Omma, okay ? We’re still a rookie, don’t get your hopes to high!”, CNU hisses to GongChan.

I put Nicky down and walk to the PD nim.

“I know it’ll be to much for me to ask, but can I bring all my family to join the CF ? if its okay with you…”, I ask PD nim. “More advertising would be great for the CF”.

The PD nim gives me a sour expression. Sajangnim seems hesitating also. But then he says in stern voice, “Just do well, Nichkhun-ssi. Just do whatever to make the CF work. Even if you need your whole family to be in it”.

A smile form on my face and I dial Wooyoung’s number. A whole family means WHOLE.

The crews are finished setting up the scene and The PD nim starts to give cue to start the filming.

This is it…

The story of the CF is about a husband and a wife that has been married for 10 years. The wife wears the product since she married with him and even if they are already 10 years, she still shines. The story board seems cliché but it seems Khun and Vic can relate to it. F(X) girls bring her into the filming scene and Sulli opens her blindfold.

Vic is trying to look around and grabs the situation quickly.

“Wa…wait… isnt it ?”, she mumbles.

Khun walks to her and giving her his sweetest smile like he always have.

“You are the main cast today, yeobo”, he says and grabs her hand and take her to the centre of the scene.

“Whaaaa…Mwo ? But… but… what about Dara eonni ?”, she stutters and giving Khun a confuse look.

“I appologized to her for being soo selfish today”, he replies. He takes her to the make up crews. ”Make my wife the most beautiful woman in the world !”

Then he walks away and preparing himself for the CF.

Vic looks around found that not only F(X) girls but also B1A4 has been agree to team up for bringing her and Nicky here.

Tears forming in her eyes and the make up crews suddenly busy to help her wipe her tears. She never thought that Khun would do this for her. She thought that he was giving up on her last night by not holding her back or not even trying quarreling again with her. She thought that he didn’t care about her anymore.

“Babo cheorom….”, she whispers to herself. Cursing how stupid of her to think that Khun would leave her.  

Her foster sons are waving excitedly and encouraging her to do her best for the CF.

This is it…

“Jagiya… we’ve been together for 10 years…”, Vic says as she looks to her wedding ring and touch it. She leans to her husband, Khun and let out a smile.

In front of them there’s a cake that marks their wedding anniversary. 10 years.

“10 years. Its not a short time, yeobo…”, Khun says as he holds her hand and kisses her forehead.

“Many things that we’ve been through…”, She adds.

“Yeah, but there’s one thing that never change….”, he says confidently. ” Our love”.

“You’re not fed up with me ?”, Vic gives a sulky looks and looks away from Khun.

Khun let out a smile as he saw his wife being sulky like this, his hands cup her face and turns her to look

at him.

“You are the most beautiful woman, yeobo. Even if years passed. ”, Khun says as he brings his face closer to her.

The scene changes to a crowded place. Where F(X), B1A4, 2PM are gather around them to congratulate their 10th anniversary.

“Ko.Jit.Mal”, Vic turns away just before Khun’s lips touch hers.

With persistent, Khun brings her face closer to his again and whispers, “I’m not. And even if a thousand year more, I will still love you”.

Then he lands a kiss on his wife’s lips and letting the PD nim to capture the kissing scene without any censored.

The crowds are cheering for them and Nicky runs to them to cut the kiss scene.

The PDnim shouts to end the filming, “Cut ! It’s a wrap !!! You all have been working hard !”.

Vic Omma

“I thought you left me…”, I say to Khun when just the 2 of us in the common room. Nicky is playing with his hyungs and samcheons.

“No way ! I would never leave you !”, Khun scrunches his eyebrows and giving and angry look to me. ”I promised to GOD that I wont leave you, remember ?”.

I giggle and cuddling to him. He brushes his hand on my back and it really helps me to soothe my feelings.

All those mixed feeling are slowly fading.

“You’re cancelling your flight tonight, right ?”, Suddenly Khun asks with a worry look. I was swayed by the atmosphere and totally forgot about my flight to Qingdao tonight.

I shake my head and his expression changing.

“Whoaaa ? I thought we settled our problem now”, he says as he rise from his seat and letting go of my arms that linking around him.

“Yeah, we settled our problem, but I promised my mother that I will visit her”, I answer him as I keep my self calm and not getting easily angry.

“So you still gonna leave me and Nicky tonight ?”, Khun gives me a sulky looks and he walks around in front of me with both his hands on his hips, making an angry gesture.

“I’m so sorry but I take Nicky with me tonight…”, I add as my voice is getting smaller. Afraid if he will mad.

“What ???!!!”, Khun makes a dramatic yells and I run myself to hug him tight. I wrap my arms around his neck and give him a peck.

I bring my lips closer to his ear and with a calming voice, I whisper, “Don’t worry, it wont be long. I promise I’ll be back before you know it”.
