Khun Appa

I drive my car and speed up. I can’t think up straight on the road. My head is only thinking about Vic and Nicky. I don’t want anything happen to them. I say a prayer in my heart along the way. Baro said there’s a man in the house. Who is it ? A thief that trying to steal something in my house but Vic caught his act ? Or someone she knew ?. Taec calls me several times since I didn’t go back to the meeting room, but I ignore it. Explanation can be done later.

I nearly cross the traffic light if I didn’t realize quickly that the light is on red.

My heart is racing like hell. My breath is unstable thinking about what happened.

Baro

The living room is like a mess. CNU hyung and Jin Young hyung is fighting against the Ahjussi. Sandeul peeps under the stairs but I caught him. I scolded him and asked him to take care of Nicky. CNU hyung already got bruises on his cheek and chin. Jin Young hyung also got punched on his stomach. CNU hyung tries to lock the Ahjussi’s leg again, but he can escape from it. As revenge, he kicks CNU hyung and makes him falls to the floor. He seems like a black belt on karate or something. Jin Young hyung helps by traping the Ahjussi’s upper body, so that he will falls down and locks him in the position. But poor Jin Young hyung. Yeah, we all know that compares to CNU hyung, he’s just like a thin paper. He finds it really difficult to knocks down the Ahjussi.

Who is this Ahjussi anyway ? Why is he doing such bad thing to Omma ? Do they know each other ?

Aisshh, why my mind even bother plopping these questions ? I better help hyungs.

I join CNU hyung and Jin Young hyung. I slide to the floor and lock my arms around the Ahjussi’s legs.

I hold it tight and feel it really heavy.

The Ahjussi kicks my chest trying to push me away from him.

I glance to CNU hyung and hiss to him, “Hyung ! Now !”.

CNU hyung punches his stomach once again, while Jin Young hyung trapping the upper body, pushing it down to the couch.

We’re on the mission of knocking down the Ahjussi when suddenly, we hear a loud slam of the door.

I turn my head a bit and find Appa is breathing heavily in front of the door. His eyes are burning with anger.

Uh-oh. Someone is really pissed-off.

Khun Appa

I park the car recklessly in front of my house. I run to the door and slam it right away. I just want to get inside the house immediately. I look to the living room, the 3 B1A4 kids trying to knock down the man. I could see his face because the bear kid is precluding him. I turn my head to search for Vic. And my eyes caught her sitting on a stall in the kitchen. She seems terrified and shocked. Her breathing is unusual and tears rolling down to her cheeks. One of the things that I hate to see is her tears.

I walk to the scene. I give a sign to the boys to release the “man”. I still can’t see his face as he drops his head down and fixing his shirt. I don’t think twice again, I grab his collar and pulling him up, making him stand in front of me, my right hand already curls into a fist, ready to hit him on his face.

The “Man” slowly heads up, my fist trembles with anger and can’t wait anymore. And then, I can see his face clearly.

That “man”, who was my wife’s crush.

That “man”, who left this country several years ago.

That “man”, who did a bad thing to my wife.

That “man”, who was a sunbae-nim to me.

Hangeng hyung.

I doubt my action for a second, but then, my fist just fly fast straight to his face. It seems like my muay thai skill and reflexes still working perfectly.

I let go a deep breath, a quarter of my emotion already released.

I glare to him and say, “That’s for doing harm to my wife !!”

He scoffs and cleans the blood on the corner of his lip. There’s a smirk there.

He walks pass me and say, “I still can’t believe that you’re her husband”.

My teeth clench and I say in a controlled tone, “Well, the fact is I AM her husband. Whether you like it or not”.

Hangeng hyung shots a sharp glare to me. He brings himself closer to me, trying to intimidate me more. He grabs my collar and hisses, “She’s mine !”.

He jabs his fist to my face. A little blood draws out from my lips.

“Appa !!!”, I can hear Vic is screaming loudly and still crying. “Geumanhaejyo…!!!”

Geumanhae ? No, Vic, this man is already way crossing the line.

I give a glance to Baro, give a sign for him to accompany Vic.

“So, we’re even now. I’d rather continue this “conversation” outside with “no-hands involve”. As a MAN, not a barbarian”, I say as I walk towards the door, wanting to finish the problem without causing any further damage.

“You too, please help clean this mess,will you ?”, I ask to CNU and Jin Young. They nod in unison and start arranging things and put it back to the right position.

Hangeng hyung follows me outside. Hooo, I REALLY LOVE to hear his explanations.

Outside the house, Khun walks to the nearest park around his house, behind him, Hangeng follows quietly. He wipes a small trace of blood on the corner of his lips. Khun must’ve had hit him pretty hard.

Khun suddenly stops and without turning to face Hangeng, he confronts him.

“What are you doing in my house, Hyung ?!”, Khun asks as he tries so hard to control his anger. His fist still clench seems like ready to give another swing to Hangeng’s face if necessary.

Hangeng let out a side laugh. He puts his hand inside his coat pocket and let out a deep sigh. He leans to a railing and observing surround him without saying a word.

Khun turns to face Hangeng. He looks at him with curiosity.

“What are you doing in my house, hyung ?!”, he repeats the question. He stands stiffly in front of Hangeng. He knows that he needs to be calm on this situation.

“Meeting Song Qian”, he replies in flat tone. Khun holds his breath when he hears him calling Vic as Song Qian, her real name. Her real name that even Khun never calls her with it.

“Then what did you do to my wife ?”, Khun let his foot step closer to Hangeng, wanting to hear clearly all his explanations.

Hangeng looks at him with a serious expression and the he says, “I did what I wanted to do to her since several years ago”

Khun suddenly let his anger get him, he grabs his collar again and pull it towards him.

“How dare you do that to my wife ?!!!”, he yells at Hangeng, but Hangeng stills giving his ignorance look to him.

“She’s mine, Khun ! We knew each other and grew close with each other before you met her. I was the one who always beside her and take care of her. You took her away from me, Khun !!!”, he explains and throws Khun’s hand that grabbed his collar before.

“She’s no longer yours. She married me 4 years ago. And since then, I’m the one who always besides her and taking care of her. We had Nicky. And where were YOU at that time ?! You’re not here. You LEFT her !!!”, Khun replies with even stronger argument. He respects Hangeng as a senior, but when it comes to Vic, all matter to him is only his love for her. And he won’t let anyone destroy what he has with Vic until now.

“She had no choice but to be with you ! You slept with her and then she got pregnant. There was no other way but to marry you”, Hangeng says and let out his anger to Khun, “If I were there, I won’t let it happen !!!”.

“You weren’t there, Hyung !”, Khun snaps right away. “And now she’s with me. As you can see, we’re a happy family now”.

Hangeng scoffs, he laughs as he throws a short gaze to Khun.

“Have you asked her about her past before she met you ?”, Hangeng asks calmly as if he is sure that he’ll win the debate. “She still calls me the way he used to. Before she met you. She still has feeling for me”.

Hangeng gives Khun a winning grin.

“Are you sure she’s totally into you ?”, Hangeng drops a bomb question.

Khun freeze where he stands. His brain is working extra hard as he recalls all the things that happened between him and Vic. He never doubt Vic even for a second since their make believe wedding. He would never question her past as he always believes that what matter the most is what they’re feeling at the moment. But then, after hearing what Hangeng said, he begins to worry. He knew a little about Vic’s close relationship with Hangeng. Vic even admitted that she liked him. What if Vic hasn’t over her feeling yet to Hangeng ?

“I know that she likes you. She did like you, hyung. DID ! But she’s not anymore ”, Khun defends with his faith for Vic, while inside he’s still debating about it. “Please leave my wife alone. Please leave my family alone. Don’t you dare showing up at my door. AGAIN ! EVER !”.

Khun presses at the words as he wants to make sure Hangeng absorbs it all.

Hangeng still giving a winning look. He turns his body and starts walking to the opposite side.

He stops for a while and without turning his head to Khun, he says, “If you hurt her, Khun, I’ll make you die with my bare hands”.

Then he leaves Khun that still thinking about what Hangeng previously said. He begins to doubt what he never thought before.

Sandeul

CNU hyung, Jin Young hyung and Baro already cleaned the living room. Omma is still seems terrified. I can see her feet and body trembling nervously. I make a hot tea for Omma and she gives me a weak smile in reply. She must have been really shocked after what happened. Baro helps to calm Omma as he sits besides her and saying words to calms her and handing her the tissue. Omma has been crying since the scene.

Jin Young hyung is pacing the floor and doing his 100 laps of pacing around in the kitchen area. He mumbles and sometimes looking at the window, hoping that he could see something’s coming.

“Where’s Appa ? What happened ?”, he asks to himself. Baro gives a sharp look to hyung as Omma’s expression change to bitter and her eyes grows wide.

“Ya hyung…”, I hiss to Jin Young hyung.

He turns to me and furrows his eyebrows, “Mwo ?!”.

I put my pointer finger to my lip, giving a shut-up sign. We’re trying to calm Omma but then hyung makes her panic again.

Gong Chan and Nicky are still playing together in the basement. Gong Chan tries to distract Nicky every time he wants to see his Omma.

“Om..Omma.. do you want me to call your f(x) members to come over ?”, CNU hyung asks with caution as he observe Omma’s expression. He picks up a phone book and begins searching the names of f(x)’s members.

Omma replies with a fast head shake, “Dwesseoyo…”.

There’s a disappointed look in hyung’s face. I know he wanted to help Omma and also wanted to get Krystal’s phone number from Omma’s phone book. Yeah, hyung had a crush for Krystal . Then hyung drops the phone book number again in the place before.

I just wish that Appa will come right now to calms Omma after finishing what he had been doing outside with that Ahjussi.

Then suddenly, a loud bam on the front door, and a fast step walk to the house. Jin Young hyung walks to the living room, to see closely who’s coming.

“Oh, Appa. ”, Jin Young hyung greets, but there’s no reply from Appa. Oh ? Waeyo ?

Appa walks to the kitchen area and stops in front of Omma.

“Kwenchanayo ?”, Appa asks shortly as he looks to Omma that’s still trembling in a stool.

Omma raises her head that previously dropped down. She surprise to see some bruise on his face.

“Ap..Appa… Kwenchana yo ? ”, she asks back and even not answering him.

She stands from the stool and walking closer to Appa, “Kwenchanayo, Appa. But your bruises…”. She raises her hand to trace his bruises, but Appa suddenly moving away and walking towards the front door, grabbing his coat.

Omma stands and freeze as she surprise with her husband’s act. Tears rolling down her cheek again.

“I need to go out for a while. I need you guys to watch over her. Make sure she’s eating and take a rest”, Appa says to CNU hyung.

“Eoddikayo, Appa ?”, CNU hyung asks.

“I need to calm my head”, He says as he walks out to his car. Leaving us and Omma that still terrified and even scared right now. As we heard what Oppa said, Omma begins crying again. This time louder.

Khun Appa

My feeling is all mixed up right now. I can’t even think straight. Seeing her crying and seems terrified, makes me remembering all those havoc today. I begin thinking all that Hangeng hyung said. Begin to question her feeling, that I never, even once, doubt before.

I pick up my cell phone and dial a number.  

“Taec ? Care for a sul (alcohol) session tonight ?”, I ask him as he picks up the phone.

“Oh ? Wae kamjakki (why suddenly ?) ?”, Taec asks back.

“I need to calm my head right now”, I answer. I save my explanation to him later.

*Finally i update it. But it seems like i didn't write good in this chap. Oh well, mianhaeyo, yeorobun if it seems decreasing or less interesting than before. I'm in the middle of preparation to move to big city again, after a year in a valley. Thx for all the supports and comments that you gave, i owe you a lot. Hope you still enjoy reading my ff.
