Khun Appa

I can hear the boys are greeting the girls. I walk to them and Vic follows me behind. The girls are greeting back at the boys.

“Omma…Appa…”, the 4 of them call us in unison, “Annyeonghaseyo !”.

They bow and both of us bow back to them.

“Waa…a breakfast gathering…what’s happening, Appa ?” ,Sulli asks with her innocence face.

Then suddenly, Gongchan, the youngest boy, bursts out, “Omma Appa are re…..ouch !”

He can’t continue what he said because Baro stomps on his foot.

Gongchan yelps a bit and tries not to touch his foot, because all of his brothers are staring at him fiercely, making a sign that he shouldn’t continue what he wanted to say.

Then I cut it out for them, “Well, Appa and Omma want to have a family gathering, that’s all”.

“Imo !!”, Nicky yells and hugs one by one all his imos.

Vic asks the girls to help her a bit in the kitchen, she’s making a fruit punch and she gives a sign that I should stay with the boys.

I sit on the chair and the boys on the sofa. Nicky is on my lap, and he’s busy playing his new toy that his imos just gave him.

The boys are blaming Gongchan because he nearly spilled out yesterday’s scene.

“Ya ! No michingeoya ?!”, Sandeul hisses at Gongchan.

He looks down and accepting his entire hyungs saying.

He looks sorry and he appologizes to me with his aegyo, “Appa, mianhae…cheongmal mianhae…”.

I receive his appologize by giving him a nod. In my head, I’m still thinking about what these boys know about last night. Did I go to far and made Vic let out that loud ?. Did they see us last night ? All those kind of questions are spinning in my head.

But then, something catches my attention. I see CNU is looking at the kitchen all the time. Seems like he’s checking on one of my daughters. But who ?

“Hyung, johasseoyo ?”, Baro pats his shoulder and teases him.

CNU turns red and giving a killing stare at Baro. The others catch his expression and more.

“Ya ! CNU hyung is soo damn happy today…”, Sandeul smirks naughtily.

“What are you waiting for ? Go get her !”, Jinyoung advices him, but he shaks his head right away.

“Bukkeurowo…(Shy…)”, CNU whispers to them and they all laugh at his confession.

I can’t help but laugh at his confession too. How come such a big guy like him, surrenders when it comes to girls ?. Not good.

“Mwoya ?! How can you be like this, hyung ?”, Baro hisses to CNU that’s still trying to get his confidence back.

“Nan meolla…”, CNU mumbles.

“How can you back out like this ? It’s your dream girl in front of you ! It’s F(X)’s Krystal-ssi !”, Sandeul hisses back to him.

Ah ! So it’s Krystal that he’s been checking on. Well, let’s see what I can do to help. Or not.

Vic Omma

The girls are with me in the kitchen. They help me prepare the fruit punch. But they are still busy whispering to each other. I let my self standing close to them and try to overhearing them.

“There’s a guy that’s been staring at you all the time, Kry”, Amber says to Krystal that’s still checking on the boys all the time. “Ya ! Don’t stare him back like that ! Keep it cool !”.

Krystal is sneakingly trying to look at the boy who’s been staring at her.

“I heard about them. People said that they are soo cute with beautiful voices. But when I look at them today, well, they really are soo cute”, Luna says while she cuts pinapples and lychees for the fruit punch add-ons.

Ah. So there’s one of my foster sons that’s been staring at Krystal. But who ?

“He is cute wearing a glasses…”, Krystal lets out her opinion.

“Oh ? Did you see him without his glasses ?”, Sulli asks innocently.

Krystal shakes his head, “Aniya, but he looks cute with his glasses..”.

Wait, there’s only one boy that wears glasses. So it’s CNU, then.

The 12 of them are circling the dining table that only fit for 6 persons. Khun Appa decided that they should eat together on the floor, so the familial bond can be feels.

The boys are moving the plates to the floor and the girls bring the dishes.

The sit around together and Vic Omma opens the gathering.

“So, today, it’s a family meeting. It’s not that we have something special to celebrate”, Vic says as she glances at Khun for a while and the she continues, “We want to introduce our foster sons that were a big help for us to play and be hyungs for Nicky”.

All people clap their hands and cheering.

“Ja ! Jal mokkesseumnida ! (I’ll eat well)”, Khun Appa leads the breakfast and begins filling his plate.

“Jalmokkesseumnida”, the boys and the girls are saying in unison.

Vic Omma begins to arrange the sitting because she had planned something for Krystal.

“Well, how bout you guys seats between the girls ? Try to get to know each other well”, She says, “CNU to my left and continue with Krystal in his left, and so on”.

Khun Appa looks at his wife in khunfusion but then he understands her plan through their telepathy.

CNU moves awkwardly to Vic Omma’s left and Krystal follows him and sits on his left. They exchange glances for awhile and then they look away.

Vic Omma gives sign to CNU to give Krystal some fried pumpkin. She points at fried pumpkin and CNU’s hand awkwardly moveto take some fried pumpkin.

Krystal is eating her bokkeumbab with looking down, because she tries to hide her shy face. She never thought that she would sit next to the boy that she’s checking on before.

“Krystal-ssi…eat some more fried pumpkin”, CNU mumbles quietly to Krystal and he puts some fried pumpkin on top of her bokkeumbab.

CNU looks away and catching his breath that he held before. He was too nervous to say a thing to her.

The others are busy talking and get to know each other. Amber is talking entusiasthicly with Sandeul and Baro, Luna and Jinyoung are sharing about stage and performance tips, while Gongchan and Sulli are both exchanging aegyos with Nicky as a new comer challanger in aegyo.

Khun Appa rolls his eyes in frustration watching his foster son becomes shy and helpless in front of a girl. Khun Appa opens a small conversation between the 4 of them.

“Shinwoo-ya ! Just call her Soo Jung. She’s younger than you, don’t be that formal”, Khun Appa says.

Krystal nods her head and let out, “Yeah, CNU-ssi, you can call me Soo Jung”.

This time, Vic Omma rolls her eyes. Why did her beloved magnae turns shy like this ?

“You can call him with Oppa. He’s older than you”, Vic Omma says. She looks at Khun Appa and he gives her a thumb up.

Krystal nods again and try to call CNU, “eung…Shinwoo…oppa ?”.

CNU’s cheeks turn red and he looks away, hiding his face from Krystal. He’s afraid that she sees him turning red.

Vic Omma and Khun Appa burst out their laugh. They can’t control their desire as they feel mushy watching these two.

Then, they let those two start their own conversation.

“Soo..Soo jung-ah, tteokbokki johahae ? (do you like tteokbokki ?)”, CNU asks Krystal. He gained a bit of confidence after Appa - Omma helped him to release the tension.

“Johahae, Oppa..”, she answers, and gives him a smile.

CNU nods, and then he says, “Next time, I’ll treat you tteokbukki”.

He let out an angelic smile to Krystal and makes her turn red.

Both of them are trying to hold their laugh, and get to know each other.

“So, you have a nice voice, Oppa”, Krystal praises CNU while they’re enjoying their meal. The conversation is getting better as they push them selve to put aside their shyness. “You dance well, too”

CNU turns to her and looks surprised, “oh..jinjja ro ?”.

The family meeting went well with everyone getting to know each other. The Khuntoria family has grown larger than before. The boys say goodbye to Khun Appa, Vic Omma , Nicky and the girls. Their days off is over. Their manager picks them up to attend a schedule.

Vic Omma

The boys just left after they helped to bring the dishes to the kitchen. Khun and Nicky are playing again with Nicky’s new toy. While the girls are washing dishes with me.

“So, did you have fun, Soo Jung-ah ?”, I ask Krystal innocenctly.

She nudges her shoulder to mine and whines, “Unnie…”

“Wae ? Did you like it ?”, Luna teases her while drying the plates.

Krystal looks down and busying her self washing the plates, “nan… meolla…”

Amber burst out to her, “Ya ! How can you say you don’t know ?”. She feels riveting seeing her dongsaeng trying to hide her feeling.

“Or maybe you’re to shy to say that you liked it, eh, Soo Jung-ah ?”, Luna teases her more.

Krystal stops washing and whines, “Ah wae…?”

I giggle watching them more so that she can tell them her feelings.

“Is he your type ?”, I ask as I stop cleaning the plate.

Krystal turns to me and nods in silent. The girls are cheering happily even Krytal didn’t say verbally that she likes CNU.

“You guys did exchange numbers, right ?”, Amber asks and sit on a stool chair. “That’s a good start”

“Yeah”, Krystal answers as she holds out her cell phone and checks if she already saved CNU’s number.

“Wow, you both are so fast. Me and Khun Appa exchanged our numbers on our 10^th meeting”, I say in envy and in quite loud voice so that Khun Appa can hears it.

Appa turns his head and walks to us.

“Wae ? Why did my name comes out ?”, Appa sips glass of coke that I pour out for me to drink. Hhh, he’s always like that. He prefers sharing than taking out another glass.

“I was just envying Soo Jung, because she exchanged number with Shinwoo in their first meeting”, I say and pout a bit. He glances to me and I avoid his eyes.

“I shouldn’t help hooking you guys today”, Appa let out a heavy sigh as he knew that I went sulky after saying that. “Oh come on, Omma. It’s not really that matter now. You’re mine”.

Appa opens his arms wide and pulls me to his chest. He hugs me tight and I bury my head on his chest. Yeah, all those mushy things are not matters anymore, because he’s mine. He’s ALL mine.

Gongchan

It’s past 10pm at the dorm. I still can’t sleep yet, while Baro hyung and Sandeul hyung already reach their dream islands. I walk around the dining room looking for my guava juice that I putted at the corner of the pantry yesterday. I pour it to a glass and bring it to my room. I pass Jinyoung hyung’s room that the door just open a little. Jinyoung hyung and CNU hyung are staring intensely to Jinyoung hyung’s laptop. I peep from the door and find out that they are looking at a video that they forbid me to see.

Oh. My. GOD. My eyes !

I close my eyes with my hand and moving away from their room’s door, but then suddenly I hear it. I freeze at my place right away.

A scream that I can’t describe. A scream that I heard last night. It’s different but it’s similar. A scream of pain or something that I don’t know.

I walk backward to Jinyoung hyung’s door and peep again.

Oh My GOD ! It really is that sound ! It’s similar !

My eyes are nearly pop out peeping on that thing, and my head start to recalling what happened last night.

So..Solma…(it can’t be…)?

Was it Omma-Appa’s that I heard last night ?

Maldo andwae….(No Waaaaayyyyy….) !!!!!

* I was so amused watching CNU looked so shy making a video message to Krystal. It's like he has a feeling for her. Oh well, so, how's the story ? Hopefully you guys enjoy the story.
