It was another boring day in school, which, I wanted to hurry and finish.
Chunji and I are supposed to go to an amusement park after school, so yea… I’m excited!

I kept glancing over to the clock, bouncing my leg rapidly.
I’m an impatient person. Especially when it comes to things like this, haha~

“Hey Soojin-ah, calm down~” Chunji whispered to me.
“I mean, I know you’re eager to go on a date with me, but calm your horses!” he winked.

Oh god. I swear, this kid is conceited.
He swears that everything is because of him.
But, that’s one of his perks. He doesn’t take it to the next level.
It’s his weapon. Or, at least that’s what he calls it.
It’s just for fun. And it always makes me smile.

“Yea, yea. I just wanna ride the rides.” I said, shooing him from my ear.

He smirked, and pulled my face towards his.
“No need to lie, love. It can be our secret.” He said, seducingly looking into my eyes.

I could feel all the eyes in our class on us.
So, I popped my hands on his cheeks, and started to squeeze, tightly.

“My blowfish.” I said to him, smiling.

“Ow, oww, ow!” he said.
“Hey, that hurts!” he pulled away from me and started rubbing his cheeks.

“Well, what did I tell you about attracting attention?” I said.

“Hey, it isn’t my fault people have a thing for us.” He said, trying to be “sassy”.

I rolled my eyes and let out a chuckle.
“Actually, it is.” I said.
“Since you are one of the “popular kids,” you attract more attention wherever you go. That includes people you hang with.” I said, as-a-matter-of-fact.

Then, I heard the heavenly sound of the bell ringing.
I jumped out of my seat, threw my arms up, and let out a huge smile.

“Finally~” I cooed.
“Chunji-ah, hurry up!” I said.
“We needa go home and change!” Hurry, hurry!!” I said, jumping up and down.

He looked up at me, shook his head, and started laughing.
As soon as Chunji gathered all of his belongings, I grabbed his arm and we made our way out of the building.

When we finally reached the neighborhood, I turned to Chunji and told him that I’d go over to his place when I was finished getting ready.
He nodded, and we parted our ways.

Just as I was about to grab my purse, my phone rang.
I looked at the ID to see who it was, and, of course, it was Chunji.

“I’m just about to go over.” I said, answering the phone.

“I’m outside. Hurry up you turtle.” Chunji said.

“Blahh, bye! I’m heading down, jackass.” I said, and hung up.

Men. They don’t know how hard it is to be a girl!
Make-up, outfits, it’s all tiring~

Anyways, I got into Chunji’s car, and we made our way towards the amusement park.

“Noonaaaa~!”

I turned around and found Chunji running towards me.
He tackled me into a hug, acting like a little kid.

“What took you so long?” I asked, trying to pull him off me.

“It was hard trying to find a parking space!” He said.
“I drove around the same three rows like, 4 times before finding one!”
“Luckily, it’s close to the entrance, so we won’t have to walk far when we leave~” He said, grinning like the Cheshire cat.

“Aw, my little Chunji~” I said.
“You found the closest parking space for your noona?” I patted his head.

He nodded his head, smiling with his eyes closed.
He has his “cute” moments~

“Okay! Let’s go have some fun!” I said.

Chunji nodded his head and grabbed my wrist.
“Let’s GO!” he said, pulling me into the park.


“Wuahhhhhhhhhh!!!”
“Chunji!! What the hell did you get me into!!??” I yelled, tightly closing my eyes shut.

“Soojin-ah, open your eyes! It’s not fun with them closed!” Chunji said, trying to pull my hands from my face.

“NOOOOOO!!” I yelled.

“Chunji, I don’t like heights!! I can’t believe I’m on this ride!”

Then, I felt my hand being taken away from me.
I opened my eyes to find mine and Chunji’s hands interlocked.
I looked at him, and he gave me a smile.

“It’ll be alright Soojin-ah.” He said.
“I’ll be right here next to you, holding your hand.”
“I won’t let go. I promise.”

And then we were dropped.

“That was crazy!” I yelled, as we got off the ride.
“I swear, I thought that was the end of my life!!”

Chunji cracked up.

“Wahh, you’re reaction was hilarious!” he said.
“I was too busy laughing, I didn’t even notice the ride had finished!” he laughed even harder.

I pouted.

“Well hey, it’s a normal reaction for a first time rider!” I said.

“Yea, it is. I’m sorry Soojin-ah~” He apologized.
“But you have to admit, it was fun!”

I smiled and shook my head.
“Yea, it was.” I said.



We rode everything in the park.

And I mean, EVERYTHING.
It didn’t matter if one of us was scared of a ride.
We both promised ourselves that we’d be right next to each other at the end of each ride.


We took a break from everything and made our way to a food stand.

“I’ll take a pretzel with cheese, and a small soda.” I said to the employee.

“Make that a large soda.” Chunji said.

I looked at him, confused.
“I won’t finish a large, Chunji.” I said.

“That’s why you’re sharing.” He said, and told the lady to complete the order.

We took a seat on one of the benches beside us, after getting our food.

“So, are you having fun?” Chunji asked me, while taking a piece of the pretzel.

“Of course!” I replied, happily.
I mean, who wouldn’t be enjoying themselves at an amusement park, with their best friend?

“That’s great. I’m enjoying myself to.” He smiled.
“It’s even better since I’m here with you~” he said, taking a sip of the soda.

I blushed.
I didn’t know why, since I was used to all of his cheesy lines.

“Blehh~ You’ve really gotta stop joking around like that.” I said.

“You can’t be this flirty when you get a girlfriend, Chunji.”
 

I looked up to look at him, and saw that he looked like he was in a daze.
Did I say something wrong?

Then, he looked down, and started playing with his fingers.
He looked like he had something in his mind.

“Chunji, you okay?” I asked.

No response.

“Uhm… if I said something wrong, I’m sor—“


“Be my girlfriend.”

My mind went blank.
Did I hear him right?

“Huh? I am your girl friend.” I replied.

He stopped playing with his hands, and looked up at me.

“I mean, be my girl.” He said.


At that moment, I swear my face felt hotter than the sun.
Did Chunji… just tell me… to be his… girl?

“Ya, I told you to quit playing around like tha—“

“I’m not playing around!” he yelled.
“I’m being serious Soojin-ah…”
“Gosh… you make it so hard for a guy to confess…” he said, looking away.

I smiled.
For the first time, I saw him blush.

“Okay.” I said, and landed a kiss right on his cute, juicy, pink lips.
