Today was the first day of school for ChunJi.
I call him that. Chunji. I don't know how I came up with that nickname, haha~
We've gotten close over the past two weeks.
I can't say we're best friends though.
I don't think I'm ready to let anyone too close yet.
He knows though. I told him about the whole JB thing.
He understands me.

When the teacher came into the classroom, he told us we'd be having a new student.

*It couldn't be...* I thought.

I looked towards the door, to see who the new student was.
When he walked in and faced the class, the biggest smile formed on my face.

"I'm Chanhee, nice to meet you all!" He smiled.

As expected, the girls swooned over him.
I mean, who wouldn't? His killer smile and good looks, he'd pass as a model!

After his introduction, the teacher instructed Chunji to find a seat.
He scanned the room and made eye contact with me.
He smiled and made his way to the empty seat next to me.

“Hey buddy!” He said, as he lightly punched my arm.

“Hey!” I said, smiling.
“What a coincidence we have the same first period together!”

“I know, right?” he said, smiling.
“I must be really lucky~” He said, putting his head on my shoulder.

I shoved his head off, and poked his shoulder hard.

“Ow! What was that for?!” He asked, rubbing his shoulder.

“I’m not your pillow.” I said, laughing.
“What class do you have next” I asked.

“Uhm...” Chunji said, referring back to his schedule.
“Phys Ed.”

“Really!?” I said.
“Me too!”
“Let me see your schedule.” I said, reaching for the paper in his hands.

I scanned the list of classes, and my eyes widened.
“Whoaaa, this is awesomeeee!” I said.

Chunji looked at me.
“What is?” He asked.

“We have all of our classes together!” I said excitedly.

He let out a chuckle.
“Wow, weird. Well, more time together!”

I nodded.
*Now I won’t feel so out in my classes.* I thought.

After the class ended, I started to gather my things.
Chunji and I were going to walk to class together, so he decided to wait with me.

He started talking about how nervous he was coming into a new school.
We both laughed and just as I closed my bag,

“Hello Chanhee!” I heard a voice.

I turned around to see Jiyeon.

My smile faded.

“Oh, uhm, hello there.” Chunji replied.

“I’m Jiyeon!” she introduced herself.
“And this is my boyfriend, Jaebum. But he’s known as JB.” She said grabbing on to JB’s arm.

Chunji’s smile dropped when she said JB’s name.
He turned his head towards JB.
“I’m Chanhee.” He said, sticking out his hand.

JB looked up, and shook Chunji’s hand.
“I’m JB.” He replied.

He then looked at me.
“Hey Soojin-ah…” He said, softly.

“Uhm, hey.” I said, looking at my hands.

“So, you’re new around here?” Jiyeon asked.

“Yea. Just moved in around here.” Chunji replied.
“Actually, I live next door to Soojin.” He said, putting his arm my shoulder, and pulling me towards him.

“Oh, are you two dating?” Jiyeon asked.

“No. Just friends. She was the one I made when I moved here to Seoul.” Chunji said.
“Maybe later in the future, when I gain her trust.” He said, looking down and winking at me.

I blushed, then punched him in the stomach.
“Don’t be going around telling people that.”

We both let out a small laugh.
Then the bell rang.

Chunji looked down at me, and grabbed my hands.
“We have to go now. We’re going to be late for our next class.” He said, and dragged me out the class.

As we made our way to PE, Chunji whispered in my ear.
“He looked jealous.”

I looked up at him, and he winked.

“I’ve got you back, Soojin.” He said.

I smiled and interlocked our hands.
*Maybe I can trust this guy after all.* I thought.
