“Hey Soojin-ah! You’re mine!”

I looked up to see JB waving at me, with a huge smile slapped across his face.
“Aha…” I awkwardly said, and waved back.

I turned to the back of the room, and saw what I had expected: his fangirls glaring at me.

“Relax, it’s just a project.” I said, halfway throwing my hands up and bobbing my head.

“He’s always choosing you when it comes to partnering up. It’s so not fair!” Soomi said, stomping her feet.


So childish, I swear…


“Sharing is caring, Soojin.” Jiyeon said.

“You three are sad. Like, seriously.” I said.
“If it bothers you that much, why don’t you go and tell JB? There’s no use in telling me.”

“We don’t want JB thinking we’re crazy, that why!” Seoyeon said.

“Kinda late for that, isn’t it…?” I said, then turned back to my desk.

“Hello partner~” I looked up to see JB taking a seat in front of me.
“So you ready to make the best project everrrrr?!” he said, throwing his hands above his head like a little kid.

“This kid." I thought to myself, and let out a chuckle.
“Hey, why do you only choose me as your partner? I mean, excluding the fact that I’m your best friend.” I flipped my hair behind my shoulder, jokingly.

“Hm? Why are you asking all of a sudden?” He asked.

“Your “fanclub” is kind of getting hard to deal with, haha..” I said, chuckling.
“Plus, you could use this time to spit some game and maybe find a girl!”

JB busted out in laughter.
“Why would I need to find a girl?”
“I have my girlfriend right here.” He said, and swung his arm around me.

I playfully punched him in the stomach, and let out a laugh.
I love this guy. Without him, I don’t know how my life would be.

“Seriously JB, what’s the reason?” I asked curiously.

“I trust you.” He said, without hesitation.
“You’re the only one I can really trust that won’t use me. Plus, you’re smart. So, I can rely on you to do the work.” He said, smiling.

I punched him again, but this time on the arm. A little harder.

“Oww! What was that for?!” He asked, rubbing his arm.

“For using me! I’m going to ask the teacher for a partner change! Someone who won’t use me for work!” I said, power walking to the door.

“NO! Wait! I’m sorry! Soojin-ah!” he said, running towards me.
“I’m sorry! I was just joking!” He said, after grabbing my arm.

I couldn’t help it. I burst out in laughter, then turned around to find his pouting face.
“Aww, you cutie!” I said, pinching his cheeks.

He looked at me with a sad, but confused expression.
“You’re so mean! I almost had a heart-attack!” He said.

“Haha, I’m sorry JB. You know I wouldn’t ever do that.” I said, patting his shoulder.
“You’re the only guy for me.” I winked.

His frown immediately turned into a smile.
“And you're the onlygirl for me!" He yelled.
"Oh, I wouldn’t ever do that to you either.”

I smiled.

“Okay, so let’s get to making the best project ever!” I said, throwing my fist in the air.

“Yeaa!!” JB said, doing the same.
