Debby: Jahoon, will you come and see me perform?

Jahoon: Of course I will! How can I not come and cheer for my precious best friend when she is going to perform on such a big show as Street Woman Fighter 2? Don't worry, I will make sure that I stay right in front of the stage with a big banner so that you won't miss me.

I winked at her, making her laugh. Debby and I have known each other since Debby first came here to Korea. She was the first person that I met and she was the first real friend that I ever had. It was like we clicked instantly. We have been together through each other thick and thin and at this point there wasn't anything that could break us apart.

Debby: You are too silly~ you know other than dancing, you are the reason that I'm still here in Korea. If it weren't for you then I would already have gone back home.

Jahoon: Such a sweet talker but let's cheer for our friendship then. I hope it will continue for a long time if you still want me by your side.

Debby: Of course, I want to. I'm never leaving your side.

We each grabbed our glasses and clinked them. I was glad to have her by my side and happy to be on hers.

Debby: Jahoon! Did you see that?! We got a chance to compete in the final!

Jahoon: I saw that! And just so you know, I'm very proud of you.

As soon as she got to the practice room I had just finished teaching, Debby launched herself at me and wrapped her arms around my neck and legs around my waist in a bear-tight hug. Meanwhile, I was trying to hold onto her for dear life, so that neither of us would fall. Debby pulled a bit away so she could see my face but still clung on to me.

Debby: Really? Are you really proud of me?

Jahoon: Of course, I'm proud of you! You have been working so hard for this and you deserve it all. To be fair, there are no words in this world that I can use to describe how proud I am of you.

Debby: Awww~ I'm always proud of you too~ I'm even jealous of how good of a battler you are.

Debby smiled widely as she connected our foreheads together. It was always like there was some sort of other connection between the two of us but neither of us dared to talk about it.

Debby: Will you be there for the final?

Jahoon: That shouldn't be a question at all. Of course, I will be there.

Jahoon: Is it going to be Debby's turn soon?

Minhee: Calm down unnie. She will perform eventually.

Jahoon: I know but I can't- there She comes! Debby!

I shouted at her, catching her attention, and made her wave in my direction with a big smile. She was looking beautiful as always but she shone even brighter today. She got ready on the stage and a few minutes later the song began to play. The way that she moved with each beat, and the way her expression shined with the mood of the music were amazing. I caught her glancing at me from time to time and each time it made me cheer on her louder than before. You can do it, Debby. Go for the win.

Debby: Even though we didn't win, I'm still glad that I got to be in the final…and also because it is now over. It was so sad not being able to spend time with you at all~

Debby leaned her head on my shoulder and whined cutely. I chuckled at her and wrapped an arm around her as I pulled her closer to me. It was funny she at one moment could be this charismatic girl and the next minute be this cute baby.
