[Part I: “The Three Maniac” Please read to understand the story.]

As I lay in my big king size bed I don’t know what to do beside think about my relationship with Yo Seob and if we should continue on dating when both of our parents are married. I seriously don’t know what to do or what to say to him anymore.  I love my mom so much that I feel like I’d rather give up my love for Yo Seob, so that my mom can live happily with Danny and as for Yo Seob, he also love his father just as much as I love my mom. When I stand across from him in front of our parent pretending that there’s nothing going on with us, the looks in his eyes tells me that he wants to end our relationship for the sake of his father, but his heart say otherwise.

“Mom-ah, do you really love Danny?” I asked my mother sitting beside her in my new bedroom after moving into the Danny’s big mansion.

“Of course dear he’s the man I’ve been waiting for.” My mother said as she pushes my hair behind my ears. “I never thought I’d find a man who can change my life until I met Danny. I’m so happy _____.”

“I’m happy that you’re happy mom.” I force out a smile and wrap my arms around her as I try to keep the tears in.

A knock on my bedroom door awoken me from my train of thoughts, I sat up from my bed as I watch him walk toward me after shutting the door behind him.

“Hey.” He sat on the edge of my bed and places his warm palm on my cold pale cheek. “How are you feeling?”  His eyes were puffy, red and of course so were mine we both haven’t been able to sleep in peace after we found out our parents are married.

“I’m fine.” I lied and wrapped my arms around him.  Everything wasn’t fine, we both knew that.  He hugged me back and lean his chin on my head as stay silence and cherish this brief embrace. “Yo Seob, I don’t know what to do anymore.” I said as I unwrap my arms and stare into his puffy lazy eyes. He didn’t know what to say either, we both were speechless.

“Mom wanted me to fetch you for dinner.” Yo Seob said without staring back into my eyes as he mentions my mother as his own mother. “Mom said you shouldn’t be late for dinner again.” Tears fill his lazy eyes as he mentions my mom’s name again. Listening to him call my mom his own felt like a sharp dagger, cruelly slicing my heart. “Mom said you should wear something nice because my dad will be joining us for dinner.” He said slowly and stood up from me.

“Yo Seob” I grabbed his hand as he was about to turn away. “What should we do?” I asked again with tears now.

“Don’t be late for dinner.” He said and walked out of my bedroom leaving me in tears. Is this his answer? Does this mean we’re over? I don’t understand him at all.

Yo Seob Point Of View

I walked out of her bedroom and went straight into my bedroom. I punch the wall hoping it’ll vent out my anger, but it wasn’t helping at all. Tears stream down my eyes as I look at the wallpaper in my cell phone of _____ and I.

“What should we do?” _____’s words asked as she held onto my arms like a little lost child. Her questions kept popping in my mind as each tears fall down my eyes.  I honestly don’t know what to do anymore, I love her and I really do, but I can’t ruin my father life because of my selfishness.

My father took care of me, spoil me in every way, and even when I got into fight all he did was tell me that he’ll take care of it.  After my mother left, he’s been a father and a mother to me and I couldn’t hurt him in anyway. I can’t be selfish and tell him that I’m in love with my stepsister because all I yearn for in all these years was to see my father’s smile and now that he is I can’t take that away from him.

With my back against the wall I bound the back of my head against the wall as I try to think of something to keep my father, step mom and _____ happy, but nothing came to mind because there is no solution to this. It’s either I be selfish, confess my love for____ and break my dad and Angel apart or leave ____, even though it’ll kill me, but will I be all right? They always say time will always heal our broken heart right will it?

“I’m so happy to see we all sit down and enjoy dinner as a whole family.” My father cheer and so did Angel.  I look up from my plate to _________ and there she sat with a broken smile as she stares back at me.

“Honey, why aren’t you eating? You lost so much weight in these three days.” Angel said as she put more food on _____’s plate. I examine her face and it was true she did lose a lot of weight, her face is so pale and white, her lip is so dry and her eyes were puffy and red from all the crying.

“Yo Seob, you should eat too you have lost weight too.” My father said and I nodded with a forced smile.  _____ wasn’t the only one who has been feeling down.  It’s been three days since she came into our house and move into the empty room across from mine.  It kills me every time I call Angel my mother, but it’s for the best.

It’s one in the morning and yet I’ve been tossing and turning all night long thinking of ____________’s face.  I got up and tip toe to her bedroom so that my dad and Angel wouldn’t wake up and discover us.  I enter her dark, cold bedroom and locked the door behind me.

“Are you asleep?” I asked sitting at the end of her bed.  Of course she wasn’t asleep as she turn around and look at me in the dark.  I try to control my feeling, my emotion and my tears, but once I saw her face I broke down.  I slid beside her and wrap my arms around her tiny waist as we both lay in her warm bed quietly.

“I’m sorry.” I finally said as I wipe her tears and she broke down, sobbing and weeping as she lean her head against my chest. She’s been waiting for me to say this and I’ve wanted to say this to her, but it kills us both because we knew how much we’re in love yet we have to force ourselves to break up. “I’m sorry ________.” I kiss her head and held her tighter as her body begin to shake she nodded understanding my action.

“Why are you crying stupid.” She looked up and wipes my fallen tears on my cheek. “We’re doing the right thing.” She said and I nodded like an idiot.

“I’m sorry _______, but I can’t hurt my father.” I said holding onto her hand she shook her head ‘no’ as I continue. “I’m sorry I can’t be a man and take responsibility of you.”

“Shh..” She places her index finger on my lips and shook her head. “I understand you.” She took a deep breath. “We both love our parents… if you didn’t say this I would’ve.” I pull her tightly as I hugged her one last time as my girlfriend.  She wrapped her arms around me and hugged me back, I kiss her head as I continue holding her shaking body and I felt her soft lips as she kiss my neck.

End of Yo Seob Point Of View

You’re Point Of View

This is it. The very last time I could embrace him like this. After this we’re just sister and brother.  My body shook uncontrollable as he held me, in three days we both have been waiting for one another to end our relationship and we both knew this was coming yet either of us had the guts to end it.

He places a kiss on my forehead and I kiss his chin as he kissed me.  He stood up and disappeared from my bed then the squealing of my door opened and close and that’s it the end of our relationship. I pull the covered over my head and lay in bed as I let out all the tears and pain inside me.

“So you guys broke up?” Lee da asked as she carried a bucket fill with paint and brushes.

“Yeah, but don’t ever let my mom or Danny know about this.” I gave her a serious look and she nodded.

“Are you okay baby?” Leeda hugged me after she put the bucket down. “It’s okay, everything will be fine.”

“Why does it hurt so much?” I cried hugging her back. Now I understand why she said love hurts, it really do and the pain is unbearable it’s like a bullet in your heart and as your heart beat it kills you each time as it does. Now I understand that special feeling that Lee da was talking about it’s a feeling that warm my heart and now it’s killing me slowly as each second goes by.

“So what do you guys plan to do?” Lee da asked siting across from me and I shrugged. I really didn’t know what was going to happen next.

“I don’t really know.” I said.

“Just go with the flow then.” She said and place her hand on mine assuring me that everything will be fine.

“____________!” Amber, Megan, Susan and Chelsea all yelled once they saw me and wrapped their arms around me comforting my broken heart.

“Are you okay?” Amber asked still holding me.

“We heard.  Is it true? Your mom and his dad?” Megan asked and I nodded.

“OMG!” Susan said as tears dripped down her cheek.

“How are you feeling now?” Chelsea kneels in front of me and examines my pale face. “You lost weight.” She hugged me. At a time like this I’m so grateful to have such wonderful friends by my side, comforting me and leading me a shoulder to cry on.

“Dude, you all right?” Dong Jun asked as he nudged Yo Seob and Eli who looked like they’re half dead. “Why do you guys look like ya have been and torture?” he sat in between the two love sick.

“Why can’t she forgive me?” Eli asked out of the blue.

“I can’t live without her.” Yo Seob said out of the blue.

“What is wrong with you two?” Dong Jun look at them with confused face.  “Am I missing something here? Why am I the only one alive here?”  He look at Eli on his right, with the puffy red and sad face and then at Yo Seob on his left with the puffy red eye, pale face and lips as dry as a desert.

“____’s mom and my dad are married.” Yo Seob said and stare at the table with tears.

“What?” Eli and Dong Jun turn to face him with guilt for not being update with his relationship.

“How is that possible?” Dong Jun asked.

“They got married in America.” Yo Seob sigh.

“And you didn’t know?” Eli asked.

“I knew my dad was getting married, but I didn’t know who.”

“What about ____?” Eli asked again.

“She left before their marriage.” Yo Seob place his tired head on his arms.

“What’s up now?” Dong Jun asked. He and Eli both knew how much Yo Seob love his father.

“I broke up with her.” Yo Seob said breaking tone.

“Hey, you’re the infamous player, the heartbreaker… you’ll be fine.” Dong Jun lied trying to cheer him up.

“You’ll be fine, just like me… you’ll just live without a heart and a soul.” Eli said and sighs.

“I’m home!” Yo Seob shouted as he enters the living room but no one was home. He sighs and walked up the stairs to his bedroom when he notice Angel and his father wasn’t home and all the maid weren’t there, probably one of their vacation day.

“It’ll be fine.” I said as I stand in the shower praying that my pain, sorrow and tears will be washed away. I haven’t eaten anything today after he broke up with me and standing in the warm water made me felt dizzy.  I turn off the shower, walked out slowly and as I try to reach for the clean towel on the sink counter I slip and fell backward.

“Ah…” I said in a low painful voice no matter how much I tried to keep my eyes open I wasn’t able too.  I tried getting back up, but all my strength was gone.  Tears stream down my eyes as I lay on the ground , my head’s pounding like crazy, and my eyes couldn’t open and all my strength were gone.

End of Your Point Of View

Yo Seob POV

I lay in my bed with my eyes close for a few second until I heard a loud thud noise from _______’s bedroom.  I stood up immediate and walked into her room with no sign of her.

“_____?” I said scanning the empty bedroom. I walked toward the bathroom and knock on it a few times. “________? Are you in there?” I asked and continue on bounding, but no answers.  I turn the knob and open the bathroom door. “__________!” I ran to her side, grabbed the towel and covered her body. She smile at the sound of my voice and drifted to sleep, I picked her up, carried her to her bed and lay her there.  Running to her closet I grabbed a fresh t-shirt and a pant, uncovered her body, slid the t-shirt and pants on her and pull the blanket over her body.  “Stupid” I kiss her forehead and tears fell down as I stare at her pale face.  “I love you so much, do you know that?” I whisper and kiss her hand.  “I love you ____ can you hear me? But no matter how much I love you in this life, I’ll hold my feeling in and wait till the next life to be with you…. Will you be able to wait until our next life?” I asked knowing I won’t get a respond.

End Yo Seob POV

School started and everybody’s busy studying, doing their homework and working. Life back in high school and life in college is so different now.  Everybody’s doing their own thing and YED is behind us now as we work hard to reach our goals in life. The YED boys all major in music, Amber, Susan, Megan and Chelsea all major in journalist, Lee da is majoring in Art and as for me I’m majoring in Nursing.  We don’t see each other much now since we all live in different house and major in different majors, but I see Yo Seob every day at home.  It’s so hard to not love him when I see him in the morning and before I go to bed and it’s so hard to only love him as my brother.

“OMG!!!!!” girls scream and jumped in joy when Eli came in with a dozen of red roses.

“He’s so sweet.”

“I wish I have a boyfriend like him.”

“She’s so lucky.”

“What are you doing here?” Lee da asked ignoring him.

“I brought your favorite flowers.” Eli places the flower on the table.

“Take you and your flower back I’m busy.” She said avoiding him as much as possible.

“I’m sorry Lee da. I truly am.” Eli said once again for the 100 and 1 times.

“Apologize is accepted, but your heart is not.” Lee da walked away leaving him standing dumbfounded.

“I know you still love me.” Eli said looking up at Lee da whose standing high on the stool as she grabbed a bucket of paint.

“I don’t love you.” She said and step down the stool.  “I use to but not anymore Eli.”

“Look into my eyes and say that.” Eli pushed her against the wall and wrap his arm around her slim waist as he stare into her big round eyes.

“I don’t love you anymore Eli.” Lee da said staring into his eyes and he releases her. “My heart had always belonged to you, but you don’t deserve it Eli… A player like you will always remain a player and there is no way I’ll ever love you and let you hurt me again.”

“Lee da, don’t you think I’m punished enough? I miss you, I love you and I’ve been acting like a maniac after you left. I admit I didn’t treat you right, I hurt you and I treated you badly, but at that time I didn’t know how much you meant to me until you left.” Eli said and grabbed her hand.

“Let me go Eli.” Lee da glare at him, but his hold on her arm still firm.

“Can’t you forgive me?” Eli begged again.

“HOW CAN I FORGIVE YOU!” Lee Da yelled in tears and pain. “That night I begged you to stop cheating and what did you say to me? Huh? Do you still remember what you said to me?” Lee da looks at him. “You said a player will always play his game and if I love you I should just shut up or else leave.” Tears stream down her face. “I forgave you more than a million times when you cheated on me with those s and I forgave you every single time you hurt me… I really thought at that time that you would change because of my love, but you kept on playing your games on those s.  You ask me if I love you? I did and I still do, but I’m not going to let my heart control me anymore because I know a player will never be able to quit his games.” Lee da push Eli’s firm hold off and walked back into her classroom leaving Eli standing dumbfounded with tears.

“Is that Yo Seob?” Megan asked pointing to the couple in the far corner.

“That can’t be.” ______ said, but as you, Megan and Lee da walk up closer to them to the exit door it was him, definitely him.

“That is Yo Seob.” Megan said and Lee da hold onto your arms as you in the scene in front of you.

“Yo Seob?” you said as he continue making out with a girl. “Yo Seob!” You scream with tears.

“Oh hey” He smiled and chuckle as the girl he was making out with blush in embarrassment.

“You !” Lee da screams and roll her eyes at him.

“Who are they?” The girl asked tugging the bottom of his shirt.

“OH them, that’s my little sister.” Yo Seob said and chuckle at you.

“Let’s go.” Megan said pulling you away.

“Let’s go ______ don’t waste your tears on a player.” Lee da said and pulled you away as tears stream down your eyes as you stare at Yo seob.

You couldn’t believe it.  It haven’t been a week since you two broke up and he’s already moving on, kissing and grinding on a new girl? You quickly wipe your tears when you heard his bedroom door open and close. You got up from your seat, walked out of your room and enter his room without knocking.

“I’m tired sis.” Yo Seob said once you shut the door and locked it.

“How can you do this to me?” You said in anger and tears.

“Do what sis?” He smiled and walked over to you. “What do you mean sis?” He leans closer to your crying face.

“Why are you doing this to me?” you said looking at him with a smirk on his face. “Are you over me already? Is it that easy for you?”

“Of course it’s easy for me to get over a girl… I’m Yo Seob, the heartbreaker, the infamous player.” He smile and flick the tip of your nose. “Sis, I suggest you move on too since we’re sibling unless…” He s one button on your shirt and you slap him across the face.

“Bastard” You said with tears as your hand burn from the slap and your handprints on his cheek. “And I loved you.”  He chuckle as he touch his burning cheek.

“You love me that much?” He chuckle some more. “I loved you when I was with you, but a player’s love for someone doesn’t last long.” He smiled as he touches your cheek. “No one can compare to me huh?” He asked leaning towards your lips. “No one can touch you like how I touch you huh?” He smiled leaning in for a kiss, but you look into his eyes with anger and tears.

“Someday I’m going to find the guys that going to change my life and one day I’ll find the guy who will love me for eternity not like you.” You said as he pause and look into your eyes. “Good night Brother.” You said as he froze at the word ‘brother’ and you walked out of his bedroom.

Once you shut his door and left to your bedroom the tears that he’s been holding back finally fell down.

“Yeah, that’s right babe. Find that guy that will change your life and who will be able to love and take care of you for eternity not like me.”  Yo Seob said quietly.

You cried once you enter your room and you scream as loud as you can as you hold the pillow against your face. The door opened and you pull the pillow away to see if it was yo Seob who came in to apologize but it wasn’t.

“What’s wrong dear?” Your mother came rushing next to you and hugged you. “Why are you crying?” She hugged you as you continue on crying.

“Mom, why does it hurt so much?” You asked holding your mother as if you’re a 13 years old teenager.

“What’s wrong? What happen? Why are you crying?” She asked cuddling you.

“It’s over mom.”

“What’s over? “Your mother asked not knowing what you were talking about until it hit her. “Your boyfriend?” She asked once she remembers that you told her about you having a boyfriend whom she never met or have you ever told his name to her.

“He said he doesn’t love me anymore.” You nuzzle your head against your mothers chest.

“Oh baby… Love is like that, don’t cry.  Just take it as a lesson to be learn in life, accept the fact and move on.” Your mother said. “Now why did you guys break up?”

“He said he doesn’t love me anymore and today I saw him with another girl.” You said and you don’t even know why you were telling your mother this, but it helped you release your stress and pain.

“Oh baby, why are you crying? You’re ______, my ___________. You’re stronger than that and you shouldn’t be crying over a guy.  If he doesn’t cherish you than move on and find a guy who will cherish you forget him and let him go.  There are a lot of fishes in this sea and you’ll find one who will treat you right…. You will never the right one the first time okay.”

“But I really loved him mom.” You said crying.

“I know you do. Time will make you forget him.”

If only… if only you didn’t live under the same roof as him you’d be able to move on. If you didn’t go to the same school, eat that the same dinner table and sleep in the room across from him you might be able to move on, but you did everything with him and time will only make you hurt more.
