Gayoung's arm stretched upwards, a lazy yet groan leaving her lips but soon it was graced in a smile, her happy smile as her eyes opened with a soft flutter to stare her interlocked hands above her to see a sunlight beaming through it by the window but that wasn't the reason of her smile, the reason was the person sleeping peacefully beside her as she tilted her head towards her husband, lying on his stomach, his forehead covered by his locks as his face was snuggled in his pillow which he had been hugging with his arm under it while another was wrapped around her. 

She sat up scratching her head by her nape to dust off the white shirt of his, but now was hers to let out a chuckle. "It's your birthday, Baekhyun!" 

"You're loud, baby." His voice uttered, raspy as if too lazy to even want to utter it as he softly groaned to pull her back, her back hitting the mattress again and Gayoung huffed, propping herself on her elbow with her torso toward him as she poked his . "It's your birthday, you old man!" 

He raised his head, his eyes squinting as his nose scrunched. "You seem more happy than me." 

"Because I know how to have fun," She paused, as his head fell back on the pillow with his eyes closing to shake her head at his actions. "And you clearly don't." 

"But you still didn't wish me, baby." 

"Happy happy getting old again." 

"So not funny." 

She let out a chuckle, as she laid back, her head on her pillow facing him to palm his cheek with a soft caress on his cheek to press her lips on his forehead. "Happy birthday, Baekhyun." 

A smile graced his lips, and his eyes opened meeting her soft yet adoring ones, staring back at him with her ever beautiful smile and he raised himself up a bit, his hand sliding off from her waist to palm the curve of her neck as he pressed his lips against hers, his lips smiling the moment he felt her lips reciprocating with the same emotion, and before he knew it, his torso was hovering over hers as she had palmed his nape while another one on his bare shoulder. 

However, as the moment of theirs deepened with a pleasant sensation, an unpleasant feeling had followed through her, too uncomfortable to make him lean away by his shoulder as a grimace took over her face with a sudden nausea erupting in her stomach to her chest and she was was quick to get off the bed with a little jog towards the bathroom. 

Baekhyun let out a sigh, immediately turning to get off the bed as he followed suit, walking inside as the door was opened to find her torso bent over to the sink, where he stood behind her with a worry to take a handful of her hair as he held it up behind her nape before she turned off the faucet to stand straight with a deep breath while meeting his patient and worried eyes. "You okay, baby?"

She cleared , still feeling an unpleasant knot in her stomach. "Not really." Before turning around as she leaned against the counter where she felt his hands fiddling with her hair behind as he stood in front of her with his eyes gazing through the mirror behind to feel her hair clipped in a messy bun as he tucked the strands of her bangs away. "I'm still suggesting you to test it out." 

Gayoung stared at him blankly knowing what he was pointing out at, as she gulped, a sudden nervousness erupting in her. "This is happening for the first time so I'm not sure." 

Baekhyun hummed, getting her words as he placed his hands on the counter either side of her. "Do it if you're comfortable, and talk to Yoora if you want to talk about it thoroughly." 

She stared at him, softly at how understanding he was to smile lightly as she poked his cheek. "Okay." 

"Okay, then I'll make breakfast."

"But it's supposed to be your day." 

"Who says you can't make breakfast on your day?" He questioned, his head tilted and she chuckled, nodding. "Then, I'll be having strawberry pancakes." 

He nodded, kissing her forehead. "At your service, baby." 

He leaned away, immediately grabbing his shirt from the wardrobe to tuck himself in as he walked out of the room leaving her alone in her thoughts. 

It's been a while, a few months to be precise as the May had arrived, while the previous months had gone smoothly and great like ever for them but since a few days ago, Gayoung has been feeling not so good, in fact nauseated, and different, and it wasn't just her who had realized her different behavior as Baekhyun was the first one to notice, her suddenly eating nonstop and it wasn't surprising but eating something she wasn't fond of had him surprised, then she wouldn't eat it at all, not finding anything or even her favorite dish to be appealing or her mood swings would be changed in a good way or bad way but the most important thing was her periods being missed the date. 

Baekhyun had concluded in a suggestive manner that she might be expecting as being a doctor, he could observe that well enough, though he wasn't in that profession but could notice yet Gayoung wasn't really taking it seriously at the moment, because this time her symptoms were different than she had with Seojun so she wasn't too sure, and it was another thing that she was scared, or nervous after expecting it after a long time but still thinking about it made her heart warm, and happy but so was he. 

Yoora was the gynecologist, and Gayoung had taken a long breath before pressing her phone to her ear and she had picked it up after a few rings. "Yo, wonder woman." 

"Hey." Gayoung let out, and heard some shuffling from the other side being stopped. "You don't sound so good, everything okay?" 

"No, it's about my condition." 

Yoora knew about it, as Gayoung had told her last night like Baekhyun had suggested since he had talked to her at the hospital casually as to help her out with it but was waiting for her to agree and Gayoung had done it before she heard her humming. "Listen Gayoung, I know you might be feeling nervous about it but I think you should test it out then come meet me at the hospital, and we'll see about it." 

Gayoung bit her lip, silently before hearing the voices of her people outside with her little ones laughing about something their dad had said as his giggles erupted afterwards with a light bark of Mongryong and Gayoung let out a sigh, a smile on her lips as she nodded. "Okay, I'll do it." 

"Perfect." 

And the phone was cut off, as Gayoung had made up her mind to walk outside after washing up to join her people with her ever smile, and wishing Baekhyun the birthday again with her little ones where the latter couldn't help but smile shyly yet his face was showing how happy he was, to see his people by his side. 

Not long after, the kids had gone to the school as usual along with Baekhyun who had gone to his work leaving his wife back at home as he had suggested her not to go at her work considering her condition which she was quick to agree but he still didn't stop texting her from time to time to ask her about her condition as he was walking down the hallway of the hospital to his cabin to rest for a few minutes as he had just operated where he would join his friends at the cafeteria in a few moments. 

However, at the moment, he was drowning in a worry because Gayoung hasn't replied to his message, it would have been different if it wasn't her condition which had him worried for her and he walked inside in his cabin, pressing his phone against his ear as he called her and after a few rings, it was answered. 

"Baby." 

"Yah, Byun Baekhyun." 

He blinked a couple of times. "What did I do now?" 

Before he could hear her reply, a knock on his door erupted to which he let out a faint answer of letting the person behind to come inside as he turned his back to the door while hearing the door opening as he looked over his shoulder only to widen his eyes to find Gayoung standing by it with her phone pressed against her ear with her lips pressed together and as he turned around to her to part his lips but Gayoung had walked in, in fact, did her little jog towards him leaving him surprised. 

"Wait-slow-" 

All in vain, when she had wrapped her arms around his neck with her little jump while he was quick to hold her back swiftly lifting her off the floor with a twirl in reflex where he heard her giggling against his ear as he stopped, making her lean away her head which ended up right in front of his face, staring at her smiling face with much confused look but holding her still. "What's happening?" 

She chuckled. "You were right." 

"About?" 

She raised her eyebrows, indicating the meaning behind her words with a smile and he blinked, once, twice and thrice until his eyes widened, as he froze. "Really?" 

"Really." 

"No joking." 

"Definitely not." 

Gayoung bit her lip, controlling herself from weeping at the moment as she found him silent, looking down in a daze but knowing what was in his heart had her heart well up, but not her, his heart was beating loudly at the sudden news which was not so sudden as he probably saw it coming yet again it had left him warm enough for his heart to well up as he swallowed, his vision blurring which he blinked a few times to shrug it away. 

Not even letting her down, he slowly walked behind his table to made her sit on his swivel chair as he crouched down on his one knee in front of her to meet her teary eyes and his eyes teared up, he bit his lip swallowing the lump as his eyes averted to her stomach to back to her as both of them chuckled together. 

His hand had palmed her stomach with a gentle brush, careful with his actions as Gayoung palmed the back of his hand with a smile to sigh deeply the moment he caressed his thumb softly. "So, you're telling me that," He trailed off, gulping. "We're having another little adorable one." 

She let out a laugh. "Certainly." 

"When did you know?" He stared at her confusingly through his blurry vision and she sighed. "I might have tested it out after you left, and now I'm here for the check up and because I couldn't go without you, so I'm here, no actually," She paused, biting her lip as she sniffled with her teary eyes and a smile on her lips. "We're here." 

He let out a deep sigh, and a chuckle behind as he palmed his eyes, clearly not wanting to cry out loud at the sudden happiness before feeling her palm removing his hand, her gentle eyes and her arms reaching out to pull him closer as she slightly bent her torso toward him to press their foreheads together, their eyes closed, tears rolling down their cheeks with their lips smiling at the bliss. 

"Thank you, baby." He uttered, his voice cracking while feeling his hands palming either side of her cheeks to wipe away her tears as he pressed a long and warm kiss on her forehead and a relaxed sigh left her lips, swallowing the lump forming in to sniffle to meet his eyes, tears rolling down his cheeks to which she wiped them away gently. "Thank you, Baek." 

Both of them chuckled again, their lips smiling and eyes glistening with happiness. 

"Yah, Baekhyun-" 

The door opened revealing Yixing where he stopped with his eyes popping out at the sight to almost closing the door while walking out but stopped again as he walked in through with his ever surprised and confused look. "What did you do to get this kneeling punishment from Gayoung, man?" 

"Couldn't you just knock before walking in?" Baekhyun snapped at him, standing up as he fixed himself with Gayoung wiping her tears while watching them patiently and Yixing stood still, crossing his arms. "Is everything okay?" 

Baekhyun nodded. "Yeah, we were just," He trailed off, meeting her eyes as she just shrugged, to meet Yixing's confused eyes as he sighed. "She's here to visit Yoora." 

He nodded, "Right, you haven't been feeling well these days," He paused, brows furrowed as he peeked at the two of them seriously while recalling the scene he just witnessed. "Don't tell me you are," He trailed off, his eyes widening with a gasp as he palmed his mouth. "Oh gosh, Gayoung!" 

Gayoung couldn't help but snicker at his reaction, and Baekhyun chuckled, shaking his head before nodding. "Yes, you're right there, buddy." 

"I'm going to be an uncle again?!" 

"I'm going to be a dad again." 

"But I will be an uncle and Soo will be an Aunt again, oh gosh." He smiled, immediately walking towards him to engulf him in a hug with his several congrats chants leaving Baekhyun to laugh as he patted at his emotional self while Gayoung watched them with a pleasant smile until she was pulled into a hug, not so comfortable one since she was still sitting as he had just wrapped his arms around her shoulder with a pat on her head yet it left her with a warming smile. 

He wanted to inform others about it but the pair had stopped his excited self to announce it in the evening with everyone gathered in their house and he agreed, leaving the room but still they were nervous about his excited self which would literally have him blurt it out. 

Soon enough, they walked in the cabin of Yoora who was already waiting for the pair as she was sitting there with a smile on her lips the moment she saw them walking in, already knowing about it since Gayoung had told her before coming here and right now, she was lying on the bed, with a monitor in front of them as she applied the gel on the machine to brush it Gayoung's stomach and that's when they saw it. 

Her hand interlocked with his gently had tightened the moment they watched the sight, so tiny and little but so warm, enough for them to tear up again as their eyes met, to look back at the monitor. 

"How's the little one?" Baekhyun questioned, his doctor and father self erupting inside him in a worried rush, and Yoora nodded, smiling. "You're two weeks pregnant, Gayoung and it's growing healthy and we might have to run some tests for further things but for now everything seems fine to me." 

"Oh my god, it's so tiny." Gayoung cooed, her lips puckering up at the sight. "It's like a bean of peas." 

Baekhyun turned to her with a look. "Really, baby?" 

"What? It literally looks like it," She pointed at the monitor with a sigh. "We have to take care of our bean of peas very well." 

Yoora laughed out loud. "Oh god, Gayoung you're so funny." 

Baekhyun just sighed, not even surprised at her weird ways of naming while she was smiling at the sight of the monitor and he couldn't help but smile, before standing up from the chair as Gayoung sat up straight covering her stomach where Yoora hugged her sideways. "I'm so happy for you." 

"Me too." 

"I can see that." She chuckled, before looking at Baekhyun with a smug grin. "And now you gentleman, respect me as your wife's doctor." 

"Who are you again?" 

"Don't be so petty, seriously." 

And he laughed, along with Gayoung as Yoora rolled her eyes but was smiling in no time at the happiness of theirs, oh how happy she was for them which she could see on their faces, their love through their eyes as this is what they deserve, the happiness and the love of theirs. 

The time struck 8 in the night, and the house of theirs was filled with the chaos again, something unchangeable, but this time the occasion was different, much more to celebrate about, and not one but two occasions, a birthday and the welcome of a new member in the home. 

The living room was filled with the presences of their people, laughter of joy and happiness as after hearing upon the news from the couple in the morning, everyone was quick to join to celebrate and the pair watched their people being happy was the best feeling they were having right now but most of them, were their little ones of the house, happy at the news of their new sibling as Areum and Seojun couldn't stop cheering about it to Dodo who had cried the moment he had heard the news followed by the ladies as everyone was much surprised to see Soo-Ah tearing up while hugging Gayoung who wasn't surprised much but Yixing surely was as he couldn't help but teared up seeing her like that. 

It did nothing but made everyone gush with the happiness, and to fill it more, Mr and Mrs Byun had arrived to be with his son but on the way they had gotten the news which had doubled their happiness, and it was shocking to see Woo-Jin crying while hugging her mother who was crying as well, and Gayoung was consoling her father in her arms while informing granny about the news to hear her crying on the phone to sigh, as that's when she had realized that whom she takes after in her emotional category except, Min-Jae had hugged her tightly with much warm feeling as he was happy for his kiddo, yet scared as he recalled the day when she was having Seojun in a painful state but just wished her a good luck for that. 

Ji-hu being Ji-hu, had cried out loudly without caring about anything to hug Baekhyun instead of Gayoung knowing she'd push him away as Baekhyun just patted his back with a smile, and Ji-hu wasn't the only one who had hugged him but his whole family and his friends couldn't stop gushing over the news, and talking about he had gotten a birthday present. 

Yeah, he had gotten the most precious gift. 

Currently, Gayoung was sitting on the chair in the garden, leaned comfortably with her palm caressing her stomach gently with a smile, her eyes glistening toward the sight of greenery with much fresh air over her while the chatter in the living room continued. 

Warm. 

She was feeling exactly that, a soothing warm had engulfed her heart as she kept thinking about the outcomes of her decisions till now, how her life had took an unexpected turn in a way she was grateful for to have a blessing in her before feeling a presence behind her, a warmth so familiar and a warmth she had come to love to as she tilted her head to find her certain person, Baekhyun. 

A soft smile on his lips, as he bent over behind her as he palmed the armchairs of her chair to plant a quick kiss on her temple with her eyes closing at the sensation as his lips smiled against her skin. A second later, he had taken a seat beside her on the other chair, his arm draping behind the headrest of her chair as he crossed his leg over the other to stare at her with much softness and adorns. 

She raised her eyebrows, her cheeks heating up. "What?" 

"What?" 

"You're staring, Baek." 

"Because I'm happy and," He trailed off, a soft smile gracing his lips. "And because I love you." 

Her lips smiling at his words, as she tilted her head. "I know." 

He chuckled and Gayoung scrunched her nose with a sheepish look and his forehead creased. "What?" 

"It's your birthday and I didn't get you any gift." She said, clicking her tongue. "I was going to but then I couldn't." 

"You don't have to," He paused, taking a glance at her palmed stomach with much adoration to meet her eyes with much love as he palmed the back of her hand with a soft caress. "Because I have gotten it already and it's the best gift I could ever ask for." 

Her eyes stared at him back, her loving eyes as she nodded. "Yeah, the best gift ever."

5:15 pm 

"Baby!" 

"I'm here!"

He heard Gayoung yell in the room, as he was standing by the mirror of the dressing table, trying to knot the tie around his neck with a grumpy frown as he was failing miserably in it to immediately turn to the door of the bathroom opening and his breath hitched, looking at his wife walking out in a plain pastel formal dress, busy in tucking the earring in her earlobe but the sight seemed so beautiful to tear his eyes off, in fact, the person herself was beautiful to be precise. 

His eyes averted down to her stomach, her bump slightly visible as she was in the last days of her fourth month with her cheeks slightly chubby, the result of her constant cravings but that still didn't stop her from looking so utterly beautiful.

"You're still not ready?" She questioned, standing in front of him with a frown and he snapped out, blinking a couple of times as he raised his eyebrows. "Not bad, baby."

A smile graced her lips as she shook her head. "We're getting late, seriously even my kids are ready, doctor." 

A grumble left his lips. "Help me with this." 

"Come here." She chuckled, standing in front of him as he bent over his head a bit for her comfort so she wouldn't rose on her toes as she continued her task with his eyes gazing at her immersed self with much adoration to keep poking her cheeks which he had began to enjoy doing somehow and as she was done, she buttoned up his cuffs as he smiled, pulling her cheeks gently and she frowned. "What?" 

"What?" 

"Geez, my makeup would ruin." 

"I can't help it, you look adorable, baby."

And that's it.

Her frown deepened, and she was quick to step away to grab her purse and phone to walk out of the room. "We're waiting in the car." 

Baekhyun was left baffled, as he stood there confused by the sudden change of behavior, not that it was the first time he was being a part of her mood swings but this behavior just didn't sit well with him as he bit his lip with a pondering look. "What did I do, again?" 

The whole ride in the car was Gayoung silent leaving the latter sitting on the driving seat to ponder more about his doings which still didn't get him about what he did to get her upset which was the last thing he wanted to do as he was rather careful nowadays yet he did something or not but her behavior did tell him that something was up but he wouldn't know it right now or he could if she could just spare him a glance, not even a compliment from her had him sigh dejectedly yet he was determined to have a talk. 

Areum and Seojun were baffled as well, as knowing their mother who wouldn't stop talking was suddenly silent in the whole ride just made them think that she wasn't feeling like it so they let it go until they had reached the venue. 

It was the marriage ceremony of Yoora and Junmyeon, finally they had decided the date after pending it up since last four months to pick the August as it wasn't too hot nor too cold but an average weather while the venue was located by the lake as it was more like a garden, full of greenery around where the kids were quick to run to their Dodo as Baekhyun and Gayoung followed suit, and no matter how much upset she was with him at the moment, her palm holding his while walking to anywhere didn't change one bit, like right now they were walking slowly hands in hands as her actions had his lips curved in a smile. 

They had a quick exchange of greeting where Gayoung left to meet the bride in the waiting room and that's when Baekhyun had gotten the long strong gazes of the men around him as he sighed. "Something up?" 

"That's what I want to ask." Junmyeon asked, nudging his head towards Gayoung's back walking away with Areum. "Did you two fight?" 

"No." 

"Then why's she upset?" 

"I don't know." 

"You don't know?" Yixing questioned, sipping his champagne and Baekhyun scratched his nape with a shrug. "I really don't know because everything was going well when we were coming here but suddenly her mood changed and I think it was me but I still don't know what?" 

"Did you say something?" Min-Jae questioned, and Baekhyun frowned. "Except complimenting her, nothing." 

"Like?" 

"Like how adorable she is?" 

"Way to go." Woo-Jin sighed, shaking his head alone with Min-Jae as they got it while the other three were left baffled, as Baekhyun asked. "Tell me, hyung." 

"You shouldn't have gone with adorable." 

"Why?" 

"Because Noona gets irritated, especially when she knows she's getting healthy." Woo-Jin said, and that's when Baekhyun got it, as he bit his lip with a sigh leaving his lips. "I guess, I know now."

Ji-hu patted his shoulder. "Don't worry, you got this, man." 

On the other hand, Gayoung entered the bride's room with a smile as she gasped, the moment she saw the sight of Yoora dressed in a white gown and sitting stiffly on the couch with Soo-Ah standing beside her shaking her head as if trying hard to drain her nervousness but the woman wasn't having any of it yet she smiled widely at the sight of the ladies coming inside. 

"My princess!" She exclaimed, opening her arms as Areum had hugged her tightly with a smile. "You look so beautiful, Aunty." 

"Come on, I'm younger than that." She pouted, and Areum giggled, with Gayoung smiling behind her while fixing her clips over her hair where she turned around, immediately kissing her bump to walk outside as Seojun called out to her as his head popped inside with a cute wave to Yoora who chuckled, reciprocating it to leave with Areum outside. 

"Okay, mommy to be," Soo-Ah stared at her best friend with a serious expression. "What's wrong with your mood?" 

"Do I look adorable?" Gayoung asked, frowning and both of the ladies were confused, as Yoora let out a chuckle, still confused. "Yeah." 

Gayoung hummed, her face down. "Oh." 

"Don't tell me you're at it again?" Soo-Ah sighed, and Gayoung shrugged, taking a seat beside Yoora. "I don't know what you're talking about?" 

"Oh, yeah, you get angry when you get called adorable or cute because you think that's not you." Soo-Ah stated, and Gayoung narrowed her eyes at her, upset at how her words were right as indeed she was being petty but it's not like it was in her control as there are times when she gets insecure too, and she can't help but get furious at herself for thinking like that, and the anger would get the best of her but she doesn't rant it out loudly, rather would be upset over it then would be okay after a few minutes. 

"Did Baekhyun call you adorable?" Yoora questioned, and the latter nodded, before huffing. "He keeps calling me adorable or cute like the beautiful word had disappeared or something? I mean I know it but a person can just say it you know and when you're expecting it, all you get is how adorable I look!" 

"Hey, hey, stop huffing like that, lady." Yoora patted her back gently to smile softly. "If you ask me, then honestly you look quite adorable right now and it's not even a bad thing come on, but that still doesn't mean that you're not beautiful, so be adorable when you have a chance right now and be happy because that's where the beauty lies."

"Oh, I hope the words got you this time." Soo-Ah sighed, before getting the text from Yixing about the ceremony being started as she informed the ladies where Yoora panicked. "Oh god, can I run away right now?" 

Soo-Ah shook her head. "No." 

"Be a little gentle with me, I'm the bride." Yoora whined, and Gayoung chuckled, hugging her sideways. "Come on, be nervous when you have the chance." 

"Wow, my words attack on me, good going, Gayoung." 

The three of them just chuckled, before Yoora's parents walked in, her father taking her hand to walk her to the aisle as Soo-Ah stood by her as her bridesmaid, along with Yixing who was Junmyeon by his side while Baekhyun was looking back to find Gayoung walking behind them, as he was seated at the front row to hold out his hand for her and she was quick to grasp it to sit beside him while their little ones were sitting beside Baekhyun as they discussed about their parent's wedding. 

The topic had got them as well, as suddenly the flashbacks of their wedding day had hit the back of their minds, their hands tightening together to meet each other's eyes at the moment, and he shot his ever beautiful smile to her with Gayoung staring at him, feeling guilty suddenly at her behavior to smile back. 

The ceremony was over and it was time for the food, Gayoung was still sitting on the seat beside Baekhyun as everyone had left to fill their stomachs along with their little ones before she felt him leaning closer to her, his arm behind her on the bench and Gayoung looked at him, meeting his patient eyes with much guilt as she pressed her lips together. 

"I'm sorry." 

Both of them uttered at the same time, and her eyes rounded. "Why are you saying sorry?" 

"Because I upset you?" 

"I overreacted." 

"But it was still upsetting for you and I didn't know it," He trailed off, pressing his lips. "Why did you apologize?" 

"Because I shouldn't have walked out like that, and I think I overreacted a bit," She bit her lip with a sheepish look to pout with a frown. "I know it's not a bad thing but everyone keeps telling me how adorable or cute I'm looking and it's upsetting me, and even you said it instead of what I wanted to hear." 

He stared at her, and Gayoung stared back at him. "How do I look right now?" 

"Beautiful." 

"And it took you a while to say that." 

He frowned, before getting her words as he wrapped his hand over her shoulder to pull her closer to him. "You're beautiful, Gayoung." 

He paused, tilting his head with a gentle smile on his face. "Like I said, you're ily beautiful, baby and in no way, and in any way it would change, even if I sometimes forget to tell you that which I would try not to," He stopped, as she let out a giggle to make him chuckle. "Yeah, so I'd be careful but that still doesn't change the fact that you look adorable right now that I can't help but do this every time," He took a pause to kiss her cheek. "And I'm in love with you in every way, and in every way you are, so like I had before about not ignoring me yet you went
