Karina's
I woke up when I heard Winter whining and mumbling something. She's crying. 

"Baby.. Sky, wake up.."

"Mommy, dito ka lang please.."

"Baby, wake up.. you're dreaming.."

"P-lease, mommy.. dad's hurting me.." I wiped her tears streaming down her face. She's sobbing. Hindi ko talaga siya kayang tignan nang ganto, I hugged her so tight. I caress her face.
"Wake up, baby.. Hey.."

Nagmulat siya, I wiped her tears ulit.

"You're dreaming.. again." I said as I kissed her forehead.

"Napanaginipan ko si mommy, Luna.."

"What happened to your dreams hmm?"

"Iniwan niya ako.. She was saying her sorry and goodbye. Sabi niya hindi na raw siya makakabalik... iniwan niya ako kasama si dad sa.. basement.."

"Oh.. *sighed* it was just a dream, baby hmm? Tita Belle is always with you, she's watching you from afar, baby.."

She nods. She cries as she tighten her hug to me. Mas siniksik niya ang sarili niya sakin. I shush her, caresses her hair until she fell asleep.

"I'm here, baby.. no one can hurt you.. im here.."

Dreams. Nightmares. Her doctor, Doc Mina said na hindi naman raw mawawala yang mga nightmares in her system, even if there's meds na iniinom niya. It's not really often naman na pero nananaginip pa rin siya, worse pa sometimes. And all of her dreams, includes crying or screaming as if someone's beating her. I really want to punch that demon na nasa jail! Look what trauma he'd cause to my Winter Sky.

Winter just dropped me off sa building namin, hindi na rin siya bumaba because she had to check the site sa may Cavite. She told me if she can't pick me up later, ate Seul will. Since she'll pick up ate Irene here sa UST, dito kasi yung isa sa filming site ng bagong movie ni ate. 

Ah, speaking of ate Irene and ate Seul. This year was supposed to be their wedding, they postponed it since maraming upcoming projects si ate, teleserye, movies.. name it. 

Last year, ate Jen and Lisa got married. It was just a simple wedding sa Thailand since Lisa came from Thailand. They said na magpapa-kasal raw ulit sila either this year or next year sa U.S. 

"Alright, Let's start our lab today.." sabi ni Doc na prof namin dito sa Histology. It's our lab day today kaya nasa HistoLab kami ngayon. 

We're on our 3rd year na rin pala sa med school. Kaya mas nadadagdagan na ang heavy readings and yung mahihirap na subjects. 

"Let's all proceed now by groupings."

By 3s ang groupings. I am with Yuqi and Jaehyun.

"Hi, again, Miss Karina.. nice to be in a group with you."

"Oh, Jaehyun, right? We're blockmates pala! How come I didn't see you?"

"You never look at me, Miss Karina. *laughs* kidding, I just took HistoLab to complete my units."

"Ahh.. I see.."

"Rina! Here's the sample tissues for our group. Oh, hi, Jaehyun! May HistoLab ka rin pala?"

"Yea, I just took it for my units."

"Everyone, you can start your examination." 

"OMG! Rina!"

"I'm sorry! Are you okay? Sorry, hindi ko napansin!"

"What happened, Ms. Song?" Doc said as she looked at the shattered flask.

"Doc, Sorry, I didn't saw the flask beside me. I bumped into it po."

I blinked. Medyo shocked pa ako sa nangyari. Nabangga kasi ni Yuqi yung flask na may lamang Xylene chemical after she looked at the microscope. 

"I'm fine, Yuqi.. Sorry too, I was about to put that sa stirrer after ni Jaehyun sa water bath."

"Natapon ba sayo? Natalsikan ka ba ng glass?" 

Umiling ako, "No, hindi naman. Its okay, Yuqs. We can continue na.. Uhm. Jaehyun, thank you."

Jaehyun pulled me earlier kasi before pang mabasag yung flask right in front of me.

He smiled, "No worries, Miss Karina. Just be careful next time, you two."

"Rina. Just call me Rina."

"Sure, Rina."

After lab, we just took our final exams sa Physiology. Gosh! We did HistoLab and Physiology exam lang but I feel tired. I have reviews pa for Anatomy and Anesthesiology! Ugh.

"Grabe mga teh! Naduling ako sa mga question! Hindi ko na sure kung tama ba yung ibang answers ko lalo sa fill in the blanks!" Daehwi rants while we walk palabas ng room.

"Same, teh! I think may napag-palit pa akong answers, I just hope na lang na tama yun. Ayaw kasi akong pakopyahin nitong si Yujin!"

"Akala ko ba nag-review ka, Yuqs? *laughs* Tawang tawa ako sayo kanina para kang giraffe!"

"Bwisit ka! You're so madamot!"

"Are you okay, Rina?" Yujin asked me when were sitted na sa cafeteria, sa usual seat namin kami nakapwesto. Dito na rin kami tumatambay if were waiting sa mga sundo, if not sa lib sa taas.

"Yea, Yujin, I'm fine. May iniisip lang."

Bumalik sa chairs nila sina Dae at Yuqi, they just bought a lemonade for the four of us.

"Ano naman iniisip mo?" Yujin asked again as she sipped on her lemonade.

"The reviews? I won't think na my answers earlier I'm confident naman sa answers ko kanina." 

"Oh see?! Ganyan dapat kayo, Yuqs! Confidently beautiful with a heart just like the Karina Cortez!" Mahinang sigaw ni Yujin.

"Diba mare si Pia Wurtzbach yon?" singit ni Daehwi.

"Aba bakit? Bawal ba kay Karina yon? Mas maganda pa nga si Karina don!" Yujin answers naman,

"Well, mas bet ko fes mo mareng Kars. Bakit hindi ka mag-miss U teh?" -Dae

"Yea, Oo nga, Rina? Why not?" -Yuqi

"Sira! I'm not into pageants. And parang hindi ako pasok sa ganun."

"Lah? Sa talino at ganda mo na yan? Di ka pa makakapasok sa mga pageants?" -Yujin.

"Hmm. I think I did dati? Intramurals nung high school? I didn't won that naman." sagot ko, I remember that na I was supposed to be Yeji since siya yung muse ng basketball team back then pero something came up yata nun.

"What?! Why though? Gosh! Wala silang mga taste!" Yuqi exclaimed.

I laughed at that naman, "She's way too pretty naman sakin kasi!"

"Teh, wala kaming paki! Mas maganda ka."

"That's tapos na, Dae! *laughs* ano ba!"

Nagtawanan lang rin kami. They said pa nga na if may pageant ulit dito sa univ yung by department ipipilit na talaga nila. They've been making me kulit about it since 1st year. Last year, it was Yujin who represent the med department. Nung first year it was Yuqi naman.

We were just talking when I receive a call from ate Irene saying they're outside of our building na. 

Ate Seul opened the door for me. When I heard someone screams, more like tili? 

"Miss Irene!!! OMG OMG! I'm your fan po!" it was Daehwi.

Ate opened the car window pala. 

"Kayo yung friends ni Rina? Yuqi, Yujin and Daehwi, right?"

They all nods. I'm telling ate rin kasi about my school stuffs and my friends here. Kilala na rin niya based on my stories pero they haven't met ate pa since she's busy.

"Yes po, ate. You're so pretty, OMG!" its Yuqi naman this time. Napailing na lang ako. Ate likes compliments I'm sure tuwang tuwa na naman to.

"Hala? Kamuka niyo po sa personal si Mama Mary!" sigaw naman ni Yujin. Natawa na ako. BAD always telling that to ate Irene and to me na kamuka raw namin si Mama Mary. Mga sira ulo talaga.

"I get that a lot, Yujin. Pero ano ba kasi yan, term ba yan?"

Umiling si Yujin, "No po. Uh- kamukha niyo lang talaga si Mama Mary, I thought kamuka na ni Karina pero mas look-a-like po kayo ni mama mary."

Natawa naman kaming lahat, natawa na rin si ate Seul. Inabot pa kami ng ilang minutes before kami makaalis since nagkwentuhan and nagpa-picture pa yung tatlo kay ate, sumama pa si ate Seul.

When I arrived at my unit, I suddenly felt tired. We ate pa kasi ng dinner earlier, thirdwheel ako sa mag-fiancee. I suddenly miss my Winter Sky. 

After I wash up dumerecho na ako agad sa room, I was about to fix my things sa study table nang may mahagip yung eyes ko sa ibabaw ng table. I didn't notice this kanina.

My baby left coffee-scented candle and an instant coffee from our coffee shop with a note. 

Hey, baby. If you saw this malamang hindi kita nasundo. Sorry, bawi po ako later when I get home. Do you like the candle? Do make this coffee before ka magreview. And please be careful. Mahal kita palagi, Luna.

I can't help but to smile. I messaged her na I'm home na and I saw her gift or whatever you call it and I did what she said naman agad, tinimpla ko rin muna yung coffee and I light the candle na rin before I start my reviews.

She's nakakainis! You know my Winter Sky? Kahit she's sometimes nakakatampo or nakakainis? I can't. I can't even mad at her ng matagal. Even if you want to make tampo, you can't. Why? She really knows me. Like in Ryujin and Heejin's term. Alam na alam ni Winter paano ako kuhain at pakiligin. 

She has these things like mga paandar or panunuyo kasi na you can't even resist. Gosh! So annoying! But magre-reklamo pa ba ako if my girlfriend is the one and only Winter Sky Cerra?

She said that she's the lucky one samin na siya daw ang pinaka-maswerteng tao dahil meron siyang ako na Karina Cortez. Ha? I am the one who's lucky kaya! Ako yung mas swerte kasi jowa ko siya. Pero ayaw niya lagi magpatalo and in the end, she will say na, "Okay, baby.. sige swerte na lang tayo sa isa't isa."

"Luna.." I woke up from the feeling of someone caressing my cheek.

. I fell asleep pala! Yung nire-review ko!

"Hey, baby.." she said, I automatically smiled when I saw my baby. I held her hand na nakahawak sa cheek ko and close my eyes again to feel her touch. 

"Tired? Kumain ka na?" I slowly nods.

"Hmm.. I ate with them earlier. Ikaw? Did you eat na ba?" sagot ko before opening my eyes again. She's smiling yet she looks tired.

"Opo, nalate lang ng konti pero kumain naman. Ang tagal kasi ng meeting kanina sa Star Records."

"Oh, how's the meeting pala? And the site you checked earlier?"
