“You came late today..” said Jennie rising on her feet as soon as she saw Taehyung coming. “You weren’t even answering my calls..”

Taehyung only realized by then that he had his phone in silent mode.

“Shall I bring some coffee for you?” asked Jennie smiling.

Taehyung lowered his gaze a little.

“I already had breakfast at home.. so maybe later..” he said softly.

Jennie faked a smile.

“Ohh.. I see.. I’ll just bring you a cup of coffee later..” she said sitting down again.

Taehyung nodded before going inside his office.

He sighed.

He should have called her or something..

A few moments later, his door flew open and there entered Jhope and Jimin.

“Do you even work these days?” he asked to Jhope who sat beside him.

Jimin laughed.

“I asked him the same question this morning.. he might as well send an application for a job here..” he said finding his friend ridiculous.

Jhope took his phone out and showed them his new fashion collection.

“I have just finished working on this..” he said bragging. “I came to ask for your opinion.. I have no idea whom I should ask to be models for this season..”

Jimin took a deep breath as he thought to himself.

“You usually work with singers or actors, don’t you?” he said. “Maybe you can try recruiting a new face..”

Jhope’s brows furrowed.

“Like who? I really have no idea..” 

Jimin smiled.

“I know someone who looks innocent and pure.. I think she will be perfect for your collection..”

Jhope looked interested.

“I was thinking of the same concept just now..” he said patting his arm lightly. “But who is it? Do I know her as well?”

Jimin just shrugged his shoulders.

“I will convince her first then I’ll let you know..” he said smiling.

Taehyung’s eyes sharpened.

Does his cousin have a hidden girlfriend or what? Who could be that innocent and pure looking woman he is talking about?

There’s only one woman who comes to his mind and who fits the description very well..

It can’t be her, right?

Jisoo went to meet her college friends at a coffeeshop near their house.

She hasn’t seen them for years and was really excited to catch up with them.

“You still look so pretty Jisoo!” said one of them holding her hands. “How can you be always the same? Do you have any secret or routine?”

They were all laughing and having a great time.

Jisoo missed them very much.. she hasn’t laughed like this in a very long time.. 

“Maybe because of her husband?” said one of them breaking Jisoo’s smile. “Does he make you happy that much? Is that why your beauty never fades?”

All the girls started giggling.

“That’s right.. I saw him in the pictures and he looks really handsome! They look good together!” another girl said.

Jisoo just maintained a smiling face.

Well.. they aren’t wrong about his looks.. 

“You should have brought him so you could have introduced him to us..” said one of them. “We are excited to meet him since you are the first one to get married in our class..”

Jisoo sighed a little.

“He’s busy with work..” she said softly. “He’s always at work..”

How many times is she going to use this lie?

“We should meet up again next week before Jane goes abroad.. make sure to bring him, okay?” said one of the girls.

Jisoo lowered her gaze.

It’s impossible that he’d come even if she asked him..

She must make up another excuse next week..

After seeing her friends, she stopped by the bakery to buy some bread.

She was still having a difficult time choosing one when her phone rang.

That’s strange.. nobody calls her except for her parents at this time..

Who could it be?

She gasped as she saw Taehyung’s mother’s name on the screen.

“Taehyung? I should call him and tell him?” she sounded desperate. “Yes mother.. I will do that..”

She heaved a sigh as soon as she hung up.

His mom asked her to call him to tell him to pass by their house to get some kimchi.

Why didn’t Taehyung answer his mom’s call? He should at least answer her calls!

And why did she have to answer her call? His mom must think they are always talking with each other.. that’s why..

It was past 5 pm when she came back home.

She still hasn’t tried on calling him..

She has never done so.. she doesn’t want to be rejected anymore.. what if he gets mad at her again? 

Although he seems to talk to her more these days.. it doesn’t mean he wants to hear her voice even when he’s outside their house..

After walking back and forth in the living room, she finally took courage to dial his number.

It was ringing! She thought it’d be turned off..

She waited for a few more rings.. she was about to hang up when the call was answered.

She smiled unconsciously as she spoke..

“Taehyung.. it’s me.. Jisoo.. your mom-..”

But hearing the voice from the other side made her stop immediately.

“Taehyung is in the kitchen now..”

It was definitely Jennie’s voice.

Jisoo’s throat moved fast.

In the kitchen? Then.. he isn’t even at the company?

Is he perhaps.. at Jennie’s house?
