Seulgi invites his parents and his sisters to have dinner at a luxury restaurant. Irene also comes along since they will inform the good news to them. Kang family already curious seeing Seulgi looked extremely happy tonight

“Seulgi, what with this sudden dinner invitation? You’re not doing this for nothing, right?” Mr. Kang asking his son

“Yes appa, Joohyun and I have good news” Seulgi stated happily

Everyone looked at both of them “What is it?”

The couple looking at each other “We will get married” both of them smiling

“Do you give him an answer already, Rene? He’s not forcing you, right?” Mrs. Kang confirming the statement at Irene

“Yes eomma, I gave him answer without him forcing me”

“That’s good then”

“Finally we have sister-in-law” Joy chirped

Then Yoona said “When will the engagement party?”

“We haven’t talk about it yet” said Seulgi

“Did you two have a good date in mind?” ask Mrs. Kang and reply by head shake from the couple

Mr. Kang tapped his chin then snapped his fingers “What if in early February?”

“Reason?” his younger daughter asking

“20th January is KS anniversary so I want to announce the good news to everyone during that event and invite them to come to Seulgi and Irene engagement party” Mr. Kang elaborate

“Not bad”

“What do you think?” the elder stare at the couple

“I agree if Joohyun agree” Seulgi tilt his head to Irene

Irene nods her head confidently “I also agree with appa idea”

“That’s good then. The rest, your eomma will handle it” said Mr. Kang

Mrs. Kang playfully glared at her husband “Now we talk about dress, catering, event planner and venue. Any suggestions?”

Yoona raised up her hand “For the event planner, let's use SM Planner & Photography again? Their service is awesome and best quality”

“Great idea. Do you two agree?” Mrs. Kang looking at the couple again

“If that is the best, we’re agree” said Irene

“Okay, what about catering? We can’t use our hotel team because they are fully booked until April. All KS Hotel branch are packed during year end because many kind of functions”

“Eomma, let's ask Kyungsoo hyung for catering service. His restaurant served good foods” Seulgi said

Then Irene added “For dessert we can ask from Baekhyun café. Their dessert are the best”

“Sure thing, you two can meet with them, right? Don’t forget to invite Kyungsoo and Baekhyun to the party as our guest”

“Okay eomma”

“For the venue…hotel? Resort? Garden?” the younger Kang questioning

“What do you think, Hyun?” Seulgi nudging Irene arm lightly

“Emm, garden sounds good. Let’s not organize it at the hotel for now. I want to try outdoor winter party”

“Any garden you have in mind? Don’t worry about the distance. We will agree with any place you choose” Mrs. Kang tapping Irene hand tenderly

“What about our garden?” Mr. Kang speak after long silent

“Appa idea is not bad. Garden at the mansion is wide and beautiful. It has romantic vibe” Irene agree with Mr. Kang suggestion

“So…our garden is it?”

“Yes eomma” Irene and Seulgi answer together

“Alright…last one, your dress”

“Shinee Bridal?” Joy suggest

“I heard that bridal studios produce a lot of the best dresses for engagement and wedding. They are using high quality material. We also can request exclusive dress from exclusive material too. Lot of my acquaintance recommend that studio” say Yoona

“Shall we just choose that bridal studio?” ask Seulgi

“I don’t have problem” say Irene

“Okay, after the new year celebration both of you clear your schedule and we go to that studio. If the quality is good then for your wedding we also will choose them”

“Okay eomma”

Everyone went back to their food again before Mrs. Kang said “Rene, where will you celebrate New Year?”

“I celebrate here, eomma. My brother and his wife will visit his brother-in-law at Bucheon so I not go back to Daegu”

“Then let's celebrate with us again. I will not allow you to spend your New Year eve alone”

“Eomma is right, unnie. You’re part of our family so you should join us” Joy agree with her mom idea

Irene smile and nods in agreement “Okay eomma”

“This year we will celebrate with our big family. We will introduce you to them” say Mr. Kang

“Okay appa”

Seulgi and Irene are in the car head back to her apartment after the family dinner

“Seul, are we celebrating New Year at your family mansion?” Irene looking at Seulgi who focus driving

“No, this year we gather at grandpa and grandma house”

“Grandpa and grandma Kang?”

“Yup, their house is two hours from Seoul. Our big family will gather at their house this year and spend time together. We also will introduce you to them. They must be excited to meet you if eomma tell them about us”

“Oh I see. I already told Junmyeon about your proposal. We will visit them after new year”

“Is he okay with that?” Seulgi ask worriedly

“Of course, if it make me happy then he also don’t have problem”

“It’s a relief. We will go to Daegu to visit them on the weekend so that you have a lot of time to spend with your brother. You must be miss your house so much” Seulgi caressed Irene hair softly since now they stop at traffic light

Irene pouting cutely “Of course, I haven’t go home for three months”

“Aigoo, poor thing. I promise I will bring you to Daegu whenever you miss your house”

“Ayy, it only troubling you”

“Not a problem as long as you’re happy” Seulgi kiss Irene lips quickly before continue driving since traffic light change to green

Irene, Eunbi and Solar are waiting for Seulgi, Seungwan and Moonbyul at one of the restaurants in Seongsudong Street for lunch. The guys were meeting with their clients around that area so Seulgi asked Irene to come to that location. Irene also invites Eunbi and Solar because she wants to introduce Solar to Seulgi and Seungwan as her best friends aside from Eunbi. Seulgi and Seungwan haven’t meet with Solar outside of office so they only know her as one of the staff at KS

“Rene, are you sure our boss will be okay if we come together? What if he wants to have lunch together with you only?” Solar stated her worry as they sit at their table

“That’s right, unnie. We don’t want to disturb both of you” Eunbi add

“Both of you don’t have to worry. I already told him that I tag along with both of you. He said yes. Besides, Seungwan and Moonbyul are together with him. I want to introduce you and Byul as my close friend”

“Okay then”

Later, Seulgi, Seungwan and Moonbyul arrive at the restaurant. Moonbyul is shocked to see his girlfriend is there because Solar does not inform him that she will come together. After everyone already takes their seat, Irene introduces Moonbyul and Solar to Seulgi and Seungwan as her friends. The boys as happily accept their presence in their circle
