Irene and her colleague walk in the hallway after meeting with their manager. Suddenly they bump into Joy who runs with a slightly panicked face. The younger Kang run straight to Irene

“Unnie!”

Irene wonders why Joy suddenly calls her informally in front of their staff “Yes?”

“Unnie, we must go to hospital now. Eomma called me just now. She said Uncle Choi is critical and the doctor said he was hanging one foot on the ground. Eomma tried to call your phone but you did not answer. Everyone already head to hospital” Joy speak while shaking Irene hand

“Omo, I put my phone on silent mode because we have a meeting. I will get my bag now”

“I’m waiting in the lobby. Ask your driver to drive us there. We need to rush”

“Okay” Irene said then she run leaving her colleague

The others are curious but no one dares to ask. However, they assume that the person that Irene and Joy talked about earlier is an important person for the Kang family. Later, they also saw Yoona run to the entrance and speed up her car leaving KS Tower

Few minutes later, Ms. Seo walked out of the room. Everyone quickly looking at her “Em, Chairman Choi want to see Joohyun-ssi and Junmyeon-ssi”

The twin following Ms. Seo entered the room. Junmyeon holding his twin’s hand as he is very nervous. He still remembers Mr. Choi's last wish. It keep play in his mind since the elder leaving their apartment

Mr. Choi lying lifelessly on the bed. He looked weaker than last time they saw him. Seulgi stands beside him while Mrs. Choi on the chair, sobbing and comforted by a blonde woman. Irene's hand was slightly shaking when she saw Mr. Choi's condition. It brings back the memory of her appa on his last day before he leaves them forever. Junmyeon tighten his hold on Irene’s hand to calm her down

Mr. Choi held out his hand then Junmyeon quickly accepted it. His hand feels so cold “Junmyeon” he speaks in a weak voice. Seulgi walk to the couch to give the twin space to talk privately with Mr. Choi

“Yes” Junmyeon lean closer so he can hear Mr. Choi voice clearly

“Joohyun” Irene also immediately hold his hand

“Please…remember everything I told you two, okay? You see…she needs someone to lean on, a shoulder to cry and a warm embrace. I can’t be there to hug her and wipe her tears. I hate to see…tears but I unable to stop it. Don’t let her cry and grieve for so long. It’s not good…for her health” Mr. Choi tears fall down while looking at his wife crying on the chair. Her eyes already swollen and nose red because crying a lot

“We always remember that, appa” Junmyeon caressed Mr. Choi hand

The elder smiled when he heard Junmyeon call him, appa “So this is how it felt when someone called me, appa. It sounds very nice. I want to hear it since long time ago but God don’t give me chance” he couch after that

“Appa, don’t talk a lot. You must rest” Irene say worriedly

Mr. Choi shook his head “I want to talk with my kids. I’m thankful that I have a chance to be a father even just in a very short moment. I enjoy it, sweetie” he flashing weak smile

“Miyoung-ah” Mr. Choi called his wife then Mrs. Choi hurriedly come

“Do you need something?” Mrs. Choi hold her husband hand tightly

“I just want to see your face before I close my eyes”

“Yah, don’t say that. You’re not leaving me. I will find a good hospital to treat you. I don’t care how much it costs as long as you stay with me. I am not ready to lose you. You know I don’t have anyone else in this world. Don’t dare leave me alone. If you want to go, bring me with you” Mrs. Choi say between her cry

“Miyoung-ah, don’t say that. I’ll wait for you up there. I promise I’ll not flirt with anyone else”

Mr. Choi reach for his wife cheek and caressed it lovingly “I love you so much…I really do”

Just right after the confession, his hand fell on the bed and his eyes shut tightly. Loud beep heard in the room signaling Mrs. Choi heart stop beating

“Choi Sooyoung!” Mrs. Choi screamed and hugged her husband's body. Irene and Junmyeon were also crying. Seulgi quickly went out calling his family. Doctor and nurse also come a few minutes later and declare Choi Sooyoung dead.
