Wedding day

The wedding of CEO Kang Seulgi and his fiancé, Irene Bae, will be held at a five star hotel that is owned by KS Group. The entire event was planned by Seulgi and Irene without their parents or friends' involvement. For the first time, Seungwan was not involved with Seulgi’s plan. Only Vincenzo involve a bit in the preparation as per request from Seulgi himself

Currently, the couple are getting ready in separate rooms. Irene already got her make-up and hair done. Once again, Jennie helped Irene with her make-up because Irene liked Jennie’s masterpiece. As for her mother, Junmyeon and Jisoo, they will use other make-up artist and hair stylist that was book for today event

“Unnie, eomma call you to put on your dress” say Jisoo when she come to make-up room

“Okay” Irene taking deep breath then exhale to calm herself from nervous

“Nervous?”

“Yes” Irene pouting

Jisoo chuckled. “I was also very nervous on my wedding day. I feel you, unnie”

“I hope I not stutter when we exchange vow later”

“You can do it, unnie. Fighting!” Jisoo cheer up for her sister-in-law who will change status in coming few hours

“Thanks, Jisoo-ah” Irene took a paper bag that she put beside the vanity table “Heels that you bought for me on my birthday. It still fit on my feet”

“I almost forgot that I bought you heels for your wedding”

“Let’s go”

Both of them go to the living room where Mrs. Choi is waiting. Irene’s mother is already wearing her dress that is exclusively designed for today. Irene stares at her mother with a warm smile. The middle-age woman still looks young even though she already holds the title of grandmother. Her mother has changed a lot now and she’s getting healthy. Irene always pray so that her mother given good health and happy life

Irene went inside the fitting room to put on her wedding dress with assistance from female staff. Mrs. Choi and Jisoo excitedly wait to see Irene in her gorgeous dress. The curtain open signaling Irene is ready in her outfit. Her mother and Jisoo squeal as soon as they see her

“Daebak!”

“Unnie, you’re the most beautiful bride I ever see” Jisoo commented with sparkle eyes

Mrs. Choi shed tears when she saw her daughter in wedding dress. It is not sad tears but happy ones. She can’t believe that she will send her daughter off to get married today. She still wants to spend time with her daughter but today Irene is getting married. She knows she can’t conquer Irene forever because her daughter is getting older and will settle down with her future husband. As a mother, she happily handed over her daughter to Kang Seulgi, a man she believed would take care of and love Irene with all his heart

“Eomma?” Irene’s voice bring her mother back from her own thought

“Yes, baby?”

“Are you crying?”

“No, I'm just emotional. Time flies so fast. It still feels like yesterday I heard you cry in the labor room, changing your diapers, nursing you and holding you in my arms but now you’re getting married. Just how fast the night change” Mrs. Choi confess her feeling

Irene holds her mom’s hand and caresses it softly “No matter what my status or how old is my age, I’ll forever be your daughter. Your baby daughter. Everything may change but not me as your daughter. I love you so much, eomma”

Irene and Mrs. Choi hugging each other “I love you too, baby”

Jisoo stared at their interaction with tearful eyes. She recalls back to the day she married Junmyeon. Her mother is also emotional when the elder stares at her knowing that she will leave their house with her husband. Even though she just became a mother, she can feel the sadness that her mother-in-law feels especially Irene is her only daughter and they just reunite. She can see the sadness in her mother-in-law's eyes when she saw Irene packing her stuff, preparing to move permanently to Seulgi’s house. Those old eyes show nothing but happiness and struggle letting go of her only daughter. Mrs. Choi has been so clingy to Irene for the past two weeks. Jisoo noticed it all. Her motherly instinct can tell how much it takes for Mrs. Choi letting Irene go for her husband. The elder preparing herself to see her daughter become someone wife and leaving their house to follow her husband

Meanwhile in Seulgi’s waiting room, the future groom also shares the same nervous feeling as Irene. He has not let go of his mother's arm for a while now. Suddenly he being clingy to his mom making the elder laughing at him

“Yah, are you that nervous until you grip so hard on my arm?” Mrs. Kang looking at Seulgi’s hand that grip on her forearm

“Yes eomma, I’m nervous. What if I can’t do well later?”

“Yah! You’re not going to sit for an exam or make a presentation in front of an important client. You only got married. Both of you rehearsed yesterday and you are doing great. Why are you suddenly nervous like this?”

Seulgi sighs “I don’t know, eomma. I just think a lot. So many weird thoughts come to my mind these days. I don’t understand myself”

“It’s normal, baby. I also thought a lot when I prepared myself to marry your appa before. I have so many negative thoughts over positive ones but don’t mind that. Look what happens now, we’re happily married, have three beautiful children and live a happy life. Don’t mind those nonsense thoughts. Have faith in yourself that you can make Joohyun happy, raise a beautiful family with her and get old together. You’re doing well as her fiancé so you can do better when you become her husband. My son is a great man. I know you won’t let Joohyun hurt and not let anyone hurt her. We have living proof already. Those people who tried to hurt Joohyun are all behind the bars right now. It show that how dedicated you are as a man of her life” Mrs. Kang give supporting words to Seulgi
