Since Mr.Jung and some of his people at the company are forced to take the early retirement that Tiffany had suggested to them in exchange of not pursuing a case against all of them.

 

 

Tiffany with the help of Taeyeon and Yuri found out all the irregularities that is happening around the office. A lot of discrepancies were found and huge amount of money has been missing from the company’s fund that caused its sudden downfall.

 

 

There is no way that he could ever get away from all the evidence that Tiffany have against him. He left the company without getting anything aside from those who he had already stolen many years ago. He left the company still not owning up with his crimes.

 

 

As his position has been vacant for a few months now, Tiffany is desperate to get a new replacement because piles of work are all in her table and she needed a break. She needs to focus on something else. “Good morning, everyone. As you all know by now why I asked for this meeting today”,

 

 

 

“We understand your concern, Ms.Hwang and you are right. Now that our company is slowly climbing up from the competition, we can’t let the Presidency position to be vacant for that long. We need someone who can help our Chairman to really get us back on top”, Mr.Yoo says

 

 

Mr.Kang butts in too. “Then we should nominate now who we want to take on that big role. Ms.Hwang, who do you want to nominate?”,

 

 

All eyes are on her. She smiles at them before glancing at Taeyeon who is sitting beside her. “You know that I am only been here not long enough to really know each and every one of you. So, I am letting you all to decide who we should nominate. I trust you all that you know the qualities that we needed to fill in to that position. I want you to think of someone who contributes a lot to our company and someone we all can trust in terms of his credentials”,

 

 

They started discussing the possible candidates while Taeyeon and Tiffany are looking at each other. He knows what she is thinking and he is silently telling her not to. Tiffany looks away trying to pretend that she is listening to them but in her mind, she is hoping that someone will nominate Taeyeon.

 

 

She wanted to work side by side with him and also, she recognized how big his contribution to the company’s stability. He brought in new investors. He found reliable suppliers that is able to meet their demands with a very reasonable price unlike those overpriced substandard materials that they purchased under Mr.Jung.

 

 

“I am nominating Mr.Kim Taeyeon to be our new President. Let’s face it, he is the heart and soul of our company. Without his incredible projects we are all long gone. He is dedicated to come up with a new project that is able to meet the demands on the market. Besides, our investors trusted him in terms of the new technology”, Mr.Yoo explains

 

 

Tiffany is very pleased to hear that and she is trying her best not to show it to them how happy she is with that nomination. “Any other nominee?”, she asks

 

 

Everyone is shaking their heads and Taeyeon cannot believe what is happening as Tiffany is avoiding him. He is waiting to hear another name because he thinks that he is still not yet ready to take on that position. “Are there anyone who you think should be our next President?”, Tiffany asks her peers again.

 

 

When no one wants to speak up, she stands up with a big smile on her face. “I see. Well, I am pleased to tell you that we all come up with a majority decision then. Congratulations, Mr.Kim! You are now our elected new President of Hwang-Jung Technology. I expect you to help me out now so that we can be on t op again. Congratulations!”,

 

 

A big loud of applause emerged in the meeting and Taeyeon is speechless. He can’t think straight. Being the President of the company never crossed his mind. He can’t even say thank you to them as he is glued to his chair and his mouth, he suddenly can’t open it.

 

 

“I think Mr.Kim is speechless. Now that he is our President. His current position will be vacant. For his position as the head of the rnd, I am appointing Mr.Kwon Yuri to take on that position now and as for the Marketing Director, I will let the HR get an advertisement for the position. I want a new one for that position. Are there any other concern before we end?”,

 

 

Mr.Oh raises his hand. “My only concern is how we can make Taeyeon to talk again. Look at him”,

 

 

It makes the whole room to burst into laughter. They all look at Taeyeon who is still yet to grasped what is happening, his reality. Tiffany also joined in as she couldn’t also stop herself from laughing at her cute boyfriend. All of them went out of the room and congratulate Taeyeon as they go.

 

 

When it was only the two of them left at the meeting room, Taeyeon finally returns to his senses as he glares at Tiffany. “You planned all of this, didn’t you? Tell me!”,

 

 

“No, I did not. I wanted to nominate you but I thought you wouldn’t like that so I just let them. Why are you mad? Are you not happy?”, Tiffany asks him

 

 

“That’s going to take much of my time. I am not yet ready to be the President. My games, I can’t play that long because I will be very busy. I won’t be able to cook for you. I won’t have much time with you”,

 

 

Tiffany thought that there is something bigger why he is not happy for his promotion. She just shakes her head and sit on his lap. She pinches his nose. “You and your game! You don’t have to worry about not having time for me. Your new office will be literally beside my office. And It’s a connecting room with yours too. We can be work together now. None of us will have to sneak in for a short cuddle now”,

 

 

Taeyeon wraps his arm around her waist and buried his face on her chest. “Do they really want me to take that role? It comes with big responsibility and I don’t know if I am ready for that, love”

 

 

“They all trusted your capabilities. No one opposes your nomination meaning you are the only one qualified for the job. Cheer up, love. You deserve it. You’ve been helping me already even though it’s not part of your job. We will be a good partner”, she tries to uplift his confidence while combining his hair using her fingers

 

 

“I still want to be part of our future projects. Creating new gadgets is where my heart lies not with all those paper works”,

 

 

“Alright. I will let them revise your role then. Everything you want. Let’s go now, I need to talk to Yuri too”,

 

 

Tiffany is about to get up but Taeyeon held her tight. “Where’s my congratulations kiss, Ms.Hwang”,

 

 

“Now you know how to talk. A kiss from your boss”, she leans in for a supposed to be a peck on the lips but he wants something else.

 

 

Taeyeon places his hand on her nape and not letting her to stop the kiss. They shared a passionate kiss which their tongues played together. They forgot that they are at the conference and the door suddenly opens. Both of them look in horror.

 

 

“I’m s-sorry, Ms.Hwang. I-I w-will-“, YoonA came in at the wrong time. She never imagines one day that she will caught her boss making out in a meeting room.

 

 

Tiffany straightens up her dress when she got up. She didn’t know what to do when they just got caught red handed. “Uh-ah. What is it that you want?”,

 

 

“The HR manager is looking for you. They want to- I mean she wants to get the details for uhm- For Taeng- I mean Mr.Kim’s appointment and Mr.Kwon’s promotion. Yeah, that’s-“, YoonA’s heart is pounding so hard and she can’t even look at her boss.

 

 

 

She doesn’t know what she will do and how to react. YoonA is trying to see who that man her boss is making out because his chair’s back is facing her. “J-just tell her that- I will call her later”,

 

 

“Alright. I will go ahead, Ms.Hwang”, she nervously smile at her. But before she can even open the door, another surprise happens. “Taengo?”,

 

 

“Hi, Yoong!”, he greeted her with a nervous laugh

 

 

“I knew it! I have been suspecting that you two have something. The frequent office visit that always lasts for more than a hours. The boxes! The snacks. There was a time that I saw you two getting out of the same car. And that- Your rings! I noticed that you are wearing the same ring but I thought it was only a mere coincidence”,

 

 

Taeyeon and Tiffany look at each other and chuckles with what YoonA is telling them. They just didn’t know that they are getting obvious. “Can you keep this a secret for now? Taeyeon and I, we’ve been dating for 6 months now and we don’t want to tell everyone about it as we are just trying to keep it private”,

 

 

“No worries, Ms.Hwang. Taengo and I are friends. He is like a big brother to me so I don’t see anything when I went in. But Taengo owe me a lunch and coffee”,

 

 

“Order what you want and bill it on me instead. Thank you, YoonA. And please, stop calling me Ms.Hwang. Just call me Ms.Tiffany instead”,

 

 

“Okay. I will go ahead now”, YoonA vowed before going out of the room

 

 

The two exhaled loudly while holding to their chest. Their heart sank the moment the door opens, they really thought that they got busted. A sign of relief happens when they realize it was YoonA, someone who they can trust with their secret.

 

 

“This is your fault, Ms.Hwang! It was you who sat on my lap and started kissing me”, Taeyeon put the blame on her.

 

 

“Excuse me! It was your fault not mine. I am supposed to be giving you a peck but you push my head down for an open kiss. I don’t know how to face her again after seeing us making out during office hours”,

 

 

“I know right but she is trustworthy. I know her long enough to know that she will turn a blind eye with what she saw. Just bribe her with foods and she’s good. Let’s go now before they start suspecting us”,

 

 

 

Everything is going so fast for them. They were just waiting for Taeyeon to finish his contract before both of them will stay in LA for good. That is their real plan but things went wild and the next thing they know, Tiffany is now the Chairwoman of the company and Taeyeon became the President.

 

 

It’s crazy how fast time changes for them. Who would have thought that they will be together after meeting in a very tragic way?

 

 

It has been a week since Taeyeon became the President of the company. Major adjustments with his workloads are stressing him already, good thing Tiffany is guiding her. It is so convenient for them that their office is connecting.

 

 

“Fany-ah, the latest report from the procurement, can you take a look at it? I think there is some discrepancy with the bidding”, he pointed out the figures that is indicated to the contract and with the proposals.

 

 

Tiffany carefully examines the two documents and Taeyeon is correct. “Good job, love. I’ve checking why we are having low budgets even though the watch that you made is selling hot on the markets. T.K enterprises is making us pay more than what we agreed on and someone in our company is letting this to happens”,

 

 

“Wait, did you just say T.K enterprises?”,

 

 

“Yes. Do you know anything about them?”,

 

 

Taeyeon cannot be mistaken. Now it’s getting clear to him why despite of what Jessica did to him before his parents still sided with her the day he got rescued.

 

 

“Excuse me, I need to borrow your computer”, he asks her.

 

 

Tiffany didn’t know what he is going to do but she still let him. Still sitting on her chair, she watched him search something on her computer. She almost jumps when he slams both of his hands on her table. “Hey, what’s wrong?”,

 

 

“I thought I only misheard it but no, I am right. Look, T.K enterprises means Taeyeon and Kevin! My parents own that freaking company who’s been stealing from us! They began getting contracts from us when the time Jessica and I started dating. And the documents that I showed you, it was signed on the day we were rescued. I already suspected thar they did something during that day! I am so mad right now!”,

 

 

Taeyeon is facing back and forth with both of his hand pulling his hair. Everything is clear to him now. The sudden changed with how they treated him when he told them about Jessica. The frequent meet up of his parents and Mr.Jung.

 

 

“I am so stupid! Why didn’t I realize that they all planned it together! The video that went viral only to my previous company and Jessica having a copy of it when she’s been in New York that time. The big offer when I got here. Then, the sudden appearance of Jessica in my life! They just used me for their benefits! They used me for their businesses! They left me all alone when I was hurting! What did I do wrong for them to treat me like a puppet”?

 

 

Tiffany panic when he suddenly breaks down. It is the first time that she ever saw him cry, literally wailing. Before she comforted him, she calls YoonA and ask her to cancel all her meetings and also, she asks Taeyeon’s secretary to cancel all his schedules before locking their office from the inside.

 

 

“Love, it’s okay. I’m here with you. It’s gonna be okay”, she went down and kneel in front of him to hug him but it only gets worst. Taeyeon cry even harder when she hugs him. “Let it all out, love. They will never hurt you again, I promise”,

 

 

“W-why did they do that to me? I trusted them. I loved them with all my heart. B-but why! Why! Fany-ah, what did I do wrong? Is it because I am nobody? Is it because they just picked me up from the streets? All I wanted is to be loved. That’s all that I want from them but why hurt me like this? What they did to me is heartless”,

 

 

She sat on the floor and let his head rest in her shoulder while continuing to rub his back. “You just met bad people, that’s it. You did nothing wrong and you are just a nobody. You are Taeyeon, the smart funny loving man and selfless person I’ve ever met”,

 

 

“You are loved, Taeyeon. You are, you just didn’t know that. Your team loves you; they adore you. Yuri loves you and so is Sooyoung. Winter loves you too. And I love you so much. Love, what they did to you is a challenge that God has given to you. He gave you that because He knows that you can overcome that challenge. He believes in you”,

 

 

“The pain of yesterday should make you stronger not like this. I know it caused you a lot but that doesn’t mean you cannot recover from it. I will let you cry now but tomorrow I want to see you smiling again. I want you let all your sorrows be wash away with your tears now. Everything is gonna be okay”,

 

 

“I want to go home now”, he said with a hoarse voice from crying so hard.

 

 

Tiffany helps him up and walk him to her couch before going back to her table get her things. Then she went to his office to get his phone and bag pack. It is early in the afternoon and a lot of employees are outside.

 

 

She doesn’t want to let them see him like that. So, she wipes his face, put down his hair to hide his eyes before letting him put his bag pack. Tiffany didn’t care less if people will start spreading rumours about them because her only focus is to bring Taeyeon home.

 

 

As what she expected, as soon as they went out of her office all eyes are on them especially to Taeyeon who is walking lifelessly with his head down. Some begins to whisper to one another because she’s linking arms with Taeyeon.

 

 

“I love you”, he told her with a very low voice as they are waiting for the elevator.

 

 

“I love you too”, Tiffany replies and she lean her head on his shoulder still with their arms link.

 

 

When they got in inside the elevators, employees began gossiping. Some are not interested but many are so into it.

“You guys didn’t believe me before. I already told you that I saw them getting out in the same car”,

 

 

“So, the blind item, it is them who checks in to a hotel”,
